They fixed the two problems I asked them too but I dont think they needed to pull the engine and trans just to check the flex plates integrity and locktite the torque converter bolts down to tension on my 69 C10 and charged me about 3 times as much as another mechanic who did it without pulling engine and trans when this happened before. First they told me they had to take it off to replace it, then they told me they put it back on because it was fine but they had to take it out to inspect it. They didnt have much of an explanation as to why they couldnt visually inspect the flex plate in place although its very visible. I dont feel I was fairly charged so I dont think Ill go back...

The guy at the front desk knows what hes doing, I learned hes been at Son Rays 30+ years doing every job along the way until he bought the business 20 years ago. Not only was he knowledgeable, his staff was full of confident leaders. Expect a straight forward approach and try to smile and have conversation, you wont regret it! Great people.

I took my car there for a state inspection. Not only were they not wearing masks, against the city ordinance currently in effect, they didnt give me my inspection notice when the inspection was done, meaning I had to drive across town to pick it up. When I got home, they had filled out the form incorrectly but insisted that it wasnt their fault, meaning I cant renew my registration until I drive across town yet again to get it sorted out.Theyre nice enough people, but this being my first interaction with them, I think Ill look elsewhere next time.

Took my truck to have A/C charged after replacing my entire system. They did the service and it didn’t work. They told me that there mechanics and machines they use leave no room for error. They wanted to charge me for a performance test. I took it to another shop and they told me it had to much oil in it and was almost a half pound low on refrigerant. It held a vacuum for an hour and they charged it for me and now it works perfectly. I would not recommend Son Rays to anyone because they do not accept responsibility and are not professional at all. I’m extremely disgusted with the way I was treated.

Best place in the area for auto work. The owners and staff are very helpful and friendly. Being a woman, it’s refreshing to encounter mechanics that aren’t condescending and take my concerns seriously. Prices are fair and the work is excellent. We have taken all of our vehicles there for several years now. We won’t go anywhere else. Even our kids try to wait until they’re home to get auto work done at Sonrays. All the thumbs way up!

I have been taking my vehicles here for over 13 years. They are honest, reasonably priced, and stand behind their work. Over the years there have been many times they have gone above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I am taken care of as their customer. My family will not take our vehicles to anyone else. I refer my friends/family/coworkers to Son Rays every chance I get!

These guys charge $100/hour. My few interactions with the younger man who works here were quite negative. He was not friendly or helpful. Not really the person you want interacting with customers. I will not be back.

Im not sure about these guys. Very nice, but they told me it was going to be $300 to fix a ball joint on my drivers side. I was also there almost 2 hours for an inspection/oil change. I got a second look at a different shop and it was less than 150 to fix. Im not an expert though.

I have taken my truck to Son Rays for oil changes/BG Treatments for a couple of years now. The customer service has been top shelf as well as work done on my truck. I feel the price is fair and comparable to anyone in the area. I have also had the work done on short notice a few times and Wade has always gotten me in. If I could give 10 stars I would.

I am more than pleased with the service I received from this shop. I have a 2003 Ford Crown Victoria that needed way more work than what I was originally told it did from Meineke. Im so glad I went to get a second opinion because it could have ended up costing me and my family more than money. Given my situation financially, they worked with me to make sure I was back on the road as soon as possible. Had it not been for their generosity and kindness, I would have been out of a car and more money trying to find another reliable one. Now I have a new complete rear end in my car and can continue riding this thing till the wheels fall off! Thanks Matt and the whole Son Rays team for yalls help! Took vehicle to son rays and wad told vehicle needed a new engine. They manually checked oil pressure an determined needed a motor. Spent 157.50. Took to a different service center amd repleaced oil pressure switch in 3 hours and truck runs like new! Called for an apology and to see about refund and was told bring me the paperwork and let me drive it! And treated my fiancè like she didnt know anything about vehicles! Will not be taking car back!

After buying a year old car I was shocked to find that it was leaking oil and was running low. It was almost closing time, but I went ahead and stopped at Son Rays. I wanted them to check and see if I was safe to drive home (a 45 min drive). After checking the oil, bringing it in the shop and looking it over they discovered that the oil plug was loose. They fixed it for me immediately and with no charge!!! If I had drove around leaking oil for much longer I probably wouldve blown my new car up! Thank you Son Rays for the caring service, Ill be back to get my oil changed because I know I can trust you guys to do it right!!!!

Terrible service ended up paying 1300 to have my breaks worked on an a oil filter change when I confronted them on price they told me to get a lawyer 3 months later break calipers seized up resulting in me almost wrecking my vehicle do not trust these guys with your vehicle youll regret it there dishonest an will charge you for a bunch of stuff they never even worked on apparently what they call dragging you across the hot coals

This shop doesnt try to sell you something you dont need.My check engine lite came on & i was in the area & i called & talked to the owner of the shop. He said swing by & they scanned & told me what was wrong with my truck. It was a sensor & told me it would be ok for awhile but needed to be fixed soon but it was ok to drive it with no problems.I like that about a mechanic or car fixers bc a lot of shops try to sell WOMEN always something you dont need. RIP OFF!!!! Charged my mom $140 labor to replace her battery. Thats ridiculous.

I just went there to get my spark plugs and wires replaced and they charged me 66$ for the wire set. They are also really unprofessional.

Charged me 100.00 to give me a second opinion on ball joints.. Just looked at them and confirmed they are shot. Didnt tell me first or I wouldve gone elsewhere. Their estimate was 30%higher than any other shops in that area.

Only issue ive had is repairs being made without consent and forcing me to pay hundreds when I just wanted testing done... If your intending on getting your vehicle fixed by a shop and not just wanting diagnoses I would recommend sonrays, Other wise im not so sure after my recent experience =(

Had my truck towed to Son Rays after calling them and they said they would fix it. Once there, the shop gave me a whole list of excuses why they couldnt do it. Claimed it would take over 6 weeks and cost multiple thousands of dollars to fix. Took it to Don Vance Ford and got it fixed in 4 days for $1200. I will not be returning to Son Rays!

75% mark up on parts!! I paid $400 for a fuel pump which would have cost $230 right next door at OReilly Auto Parts (thats not including military discount)....plus an additional $200 for labor. Ouch.
