They have been so helpful for me in my situation that I couldnt ask for a better insurance company I cant wait until my points come off my license
Great customer service initially, in person follow up is lacking.
They screw up your payments the second you are a couple days late even with it being your first time. They have an attitude . As soon as you dont want to be with them anymore they get worse. Many of my family and friends have complained about them be very cautious .
Got a new car and my insurance went up by 300 dollars! I switched to another company for the same amount of coverage and it was 250 dollars less then what they were going to charge me.

Do not, I repeat DO NOT buy insurance from Liberty Mututal. I paid them on time for a year and a half, got better rates elsewhere and Liberty tried to charge me well over $100 for up to 3 weeks after cancellation. Not to mention when I signed up originally my agent never sent me the RMV-1 forms and I had to do all that myself online. He called me 3 days later after I had done everything myself.SCAM!!!! I called in to resolve it, and everyone has an excuse about “That’s just how the law works, we don’t have to prorate in Massachusetts so that’s your bill.”
The worst insurance I had...no human sense...no ethics...My husband got hit by a car. Was a hit and run. He sent liberty the guilty person...We still have to pay the $500....they dont want to follow the rules...they wont fight for your rights...i have cancer...my husband had a back surgery...they are bad...bad people...

I had Liberty Mutual, the first year insurance was about $1400 a year and then I received my renewal and it was close to $1600. I didn’t understand why because I didn’t get any speeding tickets, followed all the traffic laws, no parking tickets. Don’t drive a lot of miles a year. Vehicle is parked in a garage. I spoke to my agent who is an excellent agent there and he stated that liberty has had a lot of price increase within the past five years and they don’t expect customers to realize that the price has increased. Well if it’s $20 then that’s OK but not when its close to over $160 of an increase that’s where it makes you turn around and say hey what did I do to expect this jump? Look at other insurance companies before you decide to go with Liberty Mutual. Liberty mutual is a complete disappointment. They post all these commercials on TV that you can get lower rates but then when you go and call them they give you a price that you could almost fall to the ground. I just recently got a new vehicle and I asked my friend over there to give me a quote and honestly I was really surprised that the quote was for over $2000 a year for insurance. Seriously? I stuck with Plymouth Rock. I understand the vehicle that I got into was a little bit more money but still $2000 a year for insurance where you don’t drive as many miles and you don’t have any speeding tickets and you keep your car garage is completely ridiculous. Run away from them and check out other insurance companies.

I was really impressed with always getting a person when I called, and the ease of setting up my policy with them. Everything was actually really pleasent untill I had a billing issue with them. Long story short I paid a payment that I was told by a representative was needed for my policy to be not canceled. Well they screwed up. I ended up speaking with multiple people and a elevation specialist multiple time to be pushed off to a supervisor. They kept saying they saw their mistake but needed a supervisors approval to reinstate my policy. Well I have GEICO now and couldnt be happier.

Horrible company. The lady on the phone could barely speak English and completely messed up the paperwork. I called back to straighten it out and got someone equally as dumb who didnt know what they were doing. I since cancelled my insurance and went with a competitor who has much cheaper rates and better customer service.

This is the worst company Ive ever dealt with when it came to claims... They dont call you back they dont return your messages they do not handle their claims in a timely manner . They will low-ball you ...They will also tell you that you will have to have receipts for the items that were stolen from you ..Also they want you to take pictures of everything.. That is the Underwriters job. Good luck trying to get Anything from this deceiving Insurance Giant
I have paid for collision for years with them, finally had to use it with a totaled vehicle. They took a long time to get the check out to me. When i called them and asked for an extension on my rental they extended it 2 days and told me i was out of luck for the rest of the time inwas waiting. I was without a vehicle and missed work for 3 days bevause they wouldnt extend the rental when, as they admited, it was their fault the check was late! I almost lost my job and lost 3 days wages because they were too miserly to extend the rental until i had my check. They lost the respect (and business) of a long time customer over what amounts to a hundred bucks. I will be switching insurance companies as soon as i get my check, and will recommend to everyone that perhaps geico is a better company. I will contact the attorney in my family to talk about lost wages and small claims court.
Ran in last minute for the DMV stamp on the paper work that you need to register your car. They Got Right To It VERY Fast AND efficient. Their customer service personal were very friendly.

As a FORMER long time client, I feel that they are the worst overpriced scammers in the the auto insurance industry. They put all kinds of unnecessary coverage on your policy without telling you. If you have an accident and they pay for your car damage, you end up paying through the teeth for the next 6 years. This is just my honest personal experience.

I work for Post Office and they offer a discount for employees . 17 years of paying premiums and I get a letter that they are dropping my sons insurance( 2 minor accidents 2014 and 2015). He has a CDL he just got. Then I get a letter saying they are dropping my daughters 1 accident in 2016. Underwriting decided. Well, I have paid premiums for 17 years and now in 2018 they are cancelling, Im sure mine too. I havent had a claim. Why am I paying them for insurance if I cant have a claim. I am so disappointed in this company and things happen, its New England. I want a company that will stand by me in good and bad. Im not a person who writes bad reviews but i feel people shoud be aware. I would suggest you look at other companies.

By the looks al i see is money money money u guys say care about customers or care about how much richer u will get i go now from paying 145 dollars a months and now out of nowherr my premium goes up to 188 a month no accident no problems and still nothing good but money money i thought i would atleast pay less or stay same but no so much for caring for your customers to me it not good at all not changing any adjustment but i will now start searching for better quotes with other insurance and see if i find something better cause we aint al rich we have to sweat and work hard for our money we out us there aint u thats al i had to say

I have been a liberty mutual customer for years now. I dont know whats changed but their customer service and general attention to detail is awful now. Ive called several times with significant concerns and questions, only to be told very different things each time! When I have asked to speak to a supervisor I simply get told that a supervisor will call me within 12 to 24 hours. Which hasnt happened as of yet. I would definitely not recommend this company. I am seeking analternate insurance agency for house, boat, 2 cars, and 2 harleys.
