So much for a friendly voice on the phone. The secretary that answers the phone and schedules is extremely rude. Upon paying an invoice she tells me I never called and paid it. I literally spoke to her when I called. She could simply accept payment however her pride is clearly in the way so she instead wastes your time by literally telling you that you’re lying. I’m confused lady, there’s no late fee I’m just simply trying to give you my money. Don’t worry it won’t happen again. Apparently they installed an entire a/c unit in my parents home and have had to revisit multiple times over the last year bc it quits all the time. Wow. These companies are a dime a dozen don’t waste your time with people who don’t appreciate you or do a decent job

My furnace was not cycling correctly. I called DeLong & they quickly set an appointment to diagnose problem. The tech they sent (Jeff) was prompt, professional & knowledgeable. He wrote the estimate & was back in 2 days to make the repair. They could have done the work the next day after the burners came in. My schedule & the warm weather may it 2 days. I recommend DeLong to anyone in this area. It is not my first experience with this company. They have always been great & I will be a customer for life.

I have used Delong’s for years and would not use anyone else. They are committed to their customers and their comfort. I like that they have a dedicated person for my furnace and Ac so that I don’t have to explain things to different people every time they come out. And I Love that they treat me like one of their family whether I’m talking to Sherry or Lisa on the phone or talking to Chris when he comes to the house for checkups or repairs. Was in dire sorts as I have young kids and furnace went out, I almost told them never mind in the first place because the lady was so rude but had to do what I had to do to keep my kiddos warm (mind you we are first time homeowners so I’m ignorant to the processes). When my father who is hvac certified called and said he was on his way, we cancelled the technician. The lady was again very rude and told us she should charge us 79 dollars for the emergency spot, which I understand but the dripping attitude was unnecessary, and at this point, I’d have gladly paid it just to NOT work with her again. Not how you do business delong! So disappointed as I’ve always heard good things but the customer service was an immediate turn off.

I I’m fully satisfied with the work of Delong heating and air. They installed a furnace for me a couple years ago and a new central air unit recently. Teds crew was top notch, professional and everything looked great. They were at my house all day. I was fully comfortable to leave the house and let them do there thing. I would recommend them to anyone.

Called Delong’s to provide general maintenance on my central air unit and furnace. They came out (after rescheduling twice) performed zero maintenance and told me I needed a new furnace. Incredibly frustrated and disappointed with this company. To be clear. The issue wasn’t the diagnosis of needing a furnace. It was that no general maintenance was performed. That is what the buyers asked for and what I hired Delongs for.

The gentleman that came out to service our AC was very nice. The prices for repairs were beyond high! It was going to take a week to get a fan motor. The cost would have been $517. If we wanted to replace the capacitor it was another $200. I talked to a friend and found out the cost of a good capacitor is $10. A 20x up charge... no thank you. In the end, my friend hooked me up with an AC repair guy who fixed it the next day, replaced the capacitor and all the parts and labor cost me $300. I cannot afford DeLongs service. They are way too expensive.

I have them check out my furnace every year. They are very dependable and are reasonable.

We’ve used DeLong ‘s services for installation of new equipment and service calls on existing a/c and furnace. We’re very pleased with their prompt, thorough, and courteous service. We’ll definitely use their services again!

They are prompt and knowledgeable

Charged $295 for a thermo coupler and clean the heating element. Coupler I could have bought for $10. Was here for about 40 minutes which equates to about $200 an hour labor. Repairman said thats what I get for not doing yearly maintenance. I would not reccomend to anyone unless an absolute emergency, then I would think twice about it.

Had a bad solenoid on humidifier, Gabe found during semi-annual service. There was a mix up in ordering part, took a bit longer than expected. Other than that, all good.

DeLong was able to come out and check into our Furnace issue within 45mins of our call. Don figures out that our Furnace wasn’t wired properly or being cleaned out on the maintenance plan that we had with another company. Their estimate for repairs and maintenance was between 250 - 350 dollars. They came back the next day and everything was complete after 45mins and only 172.00 for their trouble.We will be using DeLong going forward for our HVAC needs!

Was having problems with my furnace not running through a cycle, called at 8am got an appointment that afternoon. Gabe came in heard my description of the issue, inspected and started the system and it behaved as described. he diagnosed and had it fixed in about 20 minutes. knowledgeable and friendly, wont hesitate to call them again when needed.

Best HVAC service provider I have ever experienced. Would not use anyone else. Best techs in the industry and very nice to deal with and have in your home. Most have been with the company for a long time so you get to know them. The owner is involved in major projects and makes sure the smallest of details are handled right. I have purchased two separate home HVAC systems from them and the install is done right the first time every time. I also have them service multiple commercial systems in addition to my home system. In 2009 Ted DeLong and crew replaced our HVAC system to include a high end Honeywell programmable thermostat. In 2014 the thermostat went “stupid” - display would freeze and inputs weren’t recognized correctly....although system would still provide heat/cooling. DeLong’s replaced it under warranty. Well - two weeks ago it happened again...same problem. After some discussion with Gabe (great technician) and Kelly (office) we were given(warranty) a top of the line wi-fi, programmable Honeywell thermostat. Gabe went out if his way to walk me through setting up my phone to control the thermostat, explained different options. Very satisfied with DeLong Heating and Air....outstanding customer service! Thanks Gabe!

In March of 2016 Delong Air installed a whole house humidifier in my home! They were very professional. They installed the humidifier quickly and efficiently. They instructed me on the proper operation of the system and answered all of my questions. I would recommend Delong Air for any heating and air condition needs!!

Best HVAC company in area. They are very punctual on service calls and when they leave you know that there wont be a recall on the service.

Scheduled a service technician to come take a look at our furnace at a rental property. Technician never called or showed up. Complete waste of my time and my tenant who has a 2 week old baby. Temps are going to be in 30s and 40s the next few days. On top of these issues the lady at the call center was extremely rude, short, and unhelpful.

Sent them to a tennants appartment to fix the furnace. They arrived, fixed the furnance which only had minor issues. It needed a new filter and they cleaned out the area around the pilot light. I was at work and missed the call of the technician; the office called a few mintues after and i was able to step out of my meeting to take their call. The woman at the office accused me of giving her false information because I was not at the peoperty at the time they did the repairs and rudly ask me to never call them again for service. She ask me how I would be paying for the service at the time I scheduled the appointment but never indicated that I must be present at the time the technician was at the property. She only indicated that I must approve the work based on the technicians estimate. They never called with an estimate they just completed the work and then called irrate because I was not at the property to pay them immediately. The grand total for their work and all of this rude behavior was a grand total of only $125.
