I dont live in town, but I pass through a lot. Found some extra time in the busy day to stop and try to get a haircut. Unfortunately, I got turned away because I didnt make an appointment and his schedule was full. The place had a good atmosphere and he was very polite at refusing service; I just felt like not taking (being able to take) walk-ins turns a barbershop into a mens salon. It was a Tueaday with one guy in the chair and one waiting, which doesnt seem like one more was going to really bog him down. I normally have to squeeze in my haircuts between family events and work; I cant function the other way around. Nice place, but not accommodating to the average dad/husband/son. Thats a shame because it really could be a nice go-to when I pass by.Stan: I appreciate your williness to consider other customers than your regulars. I believe you have people wanting to support local business instead of the chains that dominate the market. Just remember that everyone who comes in doesnt have a lifestyle that allows them to project haircut dates and times. For example, my daughters mood changes every day (shes 2). If she is in good spirits one day, I might run out to get a cut while I can. I cant chance that you wont turn me away; I have to go where I can get in. Right now, that isnt at your location. I went in there with my Uncle, my uncle kept saying Stan was the man when it comes to haircuts, so i said why not, Stan was super nice, and gave a great haircut. If I could give more stars I would. 5/5 from me.

They dont take walk ins, they dont allow you to make appointments on the phone, only online.Which is stupid of you ask me, cause not everyone has the Internet or time to get online to make an appointment.
