On her website she communicates that she is open at 10am, but her online scheduler says she’s open much sooner. Sketchy. Her hours aren’t up to date and she doesn’t have a real location that’s marked. She then charges you if you miss an appointment that’s somehow inside a gym??? not a real business. There’s a reason it says “scam likely” when her phone number finally calls you back. do not trust it.

Amanda did a great job. I enjoyed my facial and she did a great job removing 2 keratosis spots on my face. It was interesting that her location is inside a gym but once you are inside her area it is like a little oasis. She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I have to admit I didnt know what to expect as I was new to the area and this was my first time booking a facial at the facial Rx.However, all my nerves were calmed, immediately i stepped in!The spa room, although small was very cozy and pristine.Amanda was very accommodating and knowledgeable.She communicated throughout the procedure, explaining each step and did everything to ensure I was well-relaxed and enjoying the experience.She also included an upper body massage, which has to be one of my top massage experiences yet.I would definitely recommend anyone in need of a little pamper session to book Amanda and I will be scheduling a follow up session shortly.

Amanda is amazing. I started seeing her for my eyebrows and she does an amazing job - to the point Ive gotten compliments on my eyebrows before. She never tried to upsell and shes not pushy. Great experience here with a facial! Booking is very easy through the online booking portal but you do have to create an account. The parking lot is a bit difficult to pull into from Louetta, so give yourself some additional time if coming from the east. The shop is in a building that houses a community of beauticians, with this shop on the second floor (go down the central hall to a wooden staircase on the right). Amanda is very kind and knowledgeable, and answered all my questions about skincare and the product line (Image, from a Houston duo). She volunteered great advice on techniques to improve my skin beyond the facial. When I came in she offered wine and did a quick consultation, and the facial experience was very relaxing and showed great improvement in my skin the next day. Her massages do have a light touch. I would certainly recommend.

Love it here! Always exceeds my expectations! My skin is 100X better! Ive been coming here for 4 years and I will NEVER go anywhere else! I stopped coming to the Facial Rx after two years when I didnt have the funds to keep coming and decided to go get cheap $40 facial at a nail salon...well CHEAP is what I got and broke out horribly afterwards. The pimples I had after that nail salon facial didnt go away for a MONTH! The Facial Rx not only took away the scarring, but prevented future breakouts! I highly recommend this place. Dont listen to ANYTHING negative if its out there (if there is then its called haters). A bad review is simply because the client didnt follow the instructions on how to take care of their skin after treatment. The Facial Rx clearly explains precautions and always responds to any questions or concerns you might have. Never had an issue or problem here that wasnt handled accordingly. I get a light chemical peel every month and I ALWAYS get compliments on how beautiful my skin is, plus, I look 10 years younger!! The Facial Rx was even written about in the Houston Chronicle. If this business is noticed by media for the work portrayed, then obviously your in good hands. Trust me, your missing out if you go anywhere else. Back Facial- Do not recommend.I did not like my experience of back facial with Amanda. I ended up scarring my back like I have scratched my back in an accident. Its been 3 days after the facial, but the scarring is still there. I have done back facials in the past at other places, but I have never seen this. I understand redness due to extractions but this is something different. And I did not have any active acne either. It was mostly whiteheads, so I wonder how it would be if someone goes there for a back facial with active acne and pimples. I also expect facials to be a relaxing experience, but I did not feel any of that. It felt more like a surgical procedure. Though, Amanda was good to talk and felt like a nice person, I would not recommend anyone for back facials at Facial Rx.

Just home from my facial with Amanda. It was amazing! I cant believe how refreshed my my skin looks and feels. Her prices are reasonable and she wasnt pushy at all about products or additional services. I fully intend to recommend her to friends and family.
