My 4 year old hates getting his hair cut, but they were so fast and nice even he couldnt complain! Watching the staff interact with my sons and seeing their faces light up with confidence after seeing their new hair cuts was the best. I will definitely be going back in the future.

I came in at 6:00 pm (Evan) for a late haircut and beard trim. Rosemary and Jess (I believe) made this the best experience. By far best haircut and beard trim I’ve ever had. Both of them made me feel welcomed and I had a great time. I will definitely be back to see these two great women. Made me a reoccurring customer for sure.

Best beard trim and line-up Ive had in many years. Affordable, especially considering the flawless quality. They also have a VIP membership program that gives unlimited free haircuts and other services for a very reasonable price. Great experience and will come again.

One of the best barbershops I’ve been to. Friendly staff, super professional, and a great atmosphere for all alike. Customer service has always been top notch, everyone here is super attentive. I’ve been going here for little over a year now and my preference has been to get cut by Angie, she always makes sure to give me the cleanest fades right before a business meeting or date night, but you can’t go wrong with any of the ladies here!

I have been looking for a stylist since I moved to Houston, and I’m so happy I found this place! Thank you to Rosemary for the perfect cut, and taking the time to fix my own poor attempts at doing my own hair cut. All the staff was professional and friendly, and I will definitely be back here.

Always had good service and personable hair stylists till this time. $28 is spendy for a guys haircut, so atmosphere is essential and first impression. Angela was so uninterested in cutting my hair I was just a transaction. Too bad I really enjoy this location. Hope the feedback does some good and they just dont ham it up with excuses.

Honestly, Im kind of disappointed. I walked in to get a gift card. The person who was able to give one to me wasnt there. I had to wait 15 minutes for her. While waiting, I was offered water, but then upon trying to get some, it was empty. I originally was going to give one star, but the girl at the counter was as helpful as she could be. I just think, businesswise, there needs to be more preparedness. Theres another location that also ran out of gift cards. This one only had a few left when I called. HOW?!?

I’ve been living off Rayford/Sawdust for 30 years. Visited every “new” and old barber/salon in the area during that time.Before reading this, just know that I’m not a VIP member, just a dude that goes in to get a cut every few weeks with his son.It’s nice visiting a spot where the staff knows me by name, is comfortable talking about random things (or staying quiet if they sense I’m not in a talking mood), and providing a clean cut every time I go in. Angie is my preference, she knows my hair and beard...and she also knows that I tend to change things up every once in a while, but stays patient, kind, and honest about those changes...which is one thing that makes her a unique stylist. She’s very OCD about her cuts and after a year or so, I haven’t had a mistake. Definitely my favorite stylist/barber that I’ve come across.While I don’t drink anymore, when I did...Jess knew what I wanted to drink when I walked in. She knows what my son wants (non-alcoholic obviously), and makes him feel like “one of the guys” while he’s there too.

Angie is the best after Covid lockdown she got my beard back under control and if you got a beard she is the one to see and I have been using here ever since. She never disappoints. Been using here every week.

Day b4 Valentines day and my barber is out of town...what to do? Tuneup took good care of a brother. My first time there and I was really happy with my impromptu appointment. Yessi, the barber on duty, quickly sat me down and looked at the pics of my normal mid-fade and got to work. Pleased with her work, I settled in for a hot towel, scalp massage and shampoo. After a long day on the job, I had a headache and everything that happened at Tuneup put me me in a great space. Forgot to mention my hair cut also included two drinks from the bar. For $30, you cannot beat it. Definitely coming back.

While I’m not an vip, and I usually get my haircut by different a company every time ( I travel for work, and it makes it difficult to commit to a date and time), you can count on this shop to do their best to take care of you! Crystal helped me out when I dropped in unannounced. If you’re ever in a ouch, give them a heads up call, and I’m sure they’ll do what they can.

I made a hair cut appointment for 3 PM, and thought I was all set for my buzz. I checked in with the hostess at TuneUp at 2:57 PM, and she asked if I wanted a drink. I declined, since I was supposed to have my cut in a couple of minutes. The hostess then proceeded to tell me that it would be at least a thirty five minute wait, since they had given my appointment to a VIP, or more-important-customer. So, I declined the beer and the wait-time, and walked out very disapointed. I do not recommend going here since they will bump your spot for a more important customer. Im happy to go to another establishment that values professionalism, strives to honor appointments, and ensuring the happiness of repeat customers.

First time going to tune up. Very excited seeing all the good reviews...Unfortunately they did not live up to the hype. Dull atmosphere.... And dull clippers... Ouch.Lots of good reviews on here so I just wanted to share my experience. I now have to try and trim up some missed spots and hope for the best... Hoping for a Tune Up but got the opposite... Try another local barbershop...

I was very skeptical about this place at first because going to a new barbershop for the first time is one of the scary thing for a guy especially for most men, we go get a haircut if we have a big event or something coming up and we need to look neat but my coworker convinced me that it’s worthy and I should at least give it a try. Believe me it’s worth every penny and I absolutely now love this place, the place is a state of art, innovative, clean and the customer service is beyond anything. Oh did i tell you that you get free drinks too while in there (not that it matters to some folks). I love this place and I recommend everyone to go check it out, you won’t be disappointed. If there were more stars I can give I would’ve but don’t take my words for it, check it out yourself.

This is the best location for tune up hands down. They are super friendly and patty makes it so much fun while you wait. My personal favorite barber is yessi though she keeps my hair on point at all times.

Called 45min prior to set up a time at this location then waited 30min once I got there only to be told it would be another hour before i could get a haircut.
