Victoria is an amazing stylist. She listens and asks probing questions to figure out what you want. The facility is clean and I love the drinks and environment.

Just called to make an appointment for my 5 year old boy and my 3 year old girl. They notified me that the prices have gone up (understandable) but they would charge me $45 for my little girl straight all around haircut. What???? That’s insane! A simple trim I added! Nope $45 it is! NO THANK YOU! I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

This is a cool place, Im from Utah and its nice to see a almost spa for men. Lots of services offered! The haircut is a higher cost but I feel you get it in the way they take care of you and what it includes! Have a drink or 2 while you get your hair cut, a shave, or a pedicure and manicure! Hot towels and shampoos feel good when you leave!

Ive been getting my hair cut here for years. Every barber Ive gotten, has been courteous and friendly. They do a great job at cutting hair. The drinks you get while waiting is a bonus.

Third time back here. Each visit got worse.This time yes I am a walk in but there wasnt another man in sight not even at the bar and they tell me they could not cut my hair because the two barbers had appointments in 20 minutes also one sitting braiding the others hair. What a joke unprofessional and lazy.Thats fine Ill take my money and hair somewhere else and gladly give it to a employee that actually does their job.

Im in my fourth year as a client of Tune Up - Rayford. The facility is always clean and the entire staff, receptionists, stylists and managers welcoming and service oriented. Ive always felt like I have my stylist, Aiguls complete attention whenever I visit. Aigul is talented, meticulous, reliable, and professional. The recent improvements to the scheduling policy are a welcome change. Did I menition the free drinks? Well done. Keep up the amazing service!

My husband will only come here for all his barber needs!! The best part is I can tag along with him and have a couple drinks with the bar girls while I wait for him. If we pick a busier day to come, well just hang together and play one of their games they have inside. You or the man in your life will not be disappointed!

Management is always happy to help with any complaints to ensure you get what you pay for! The level of service here is above what competitors attempt to offer and fail. Three barbers all sitting at the bar doing nothing, yet they have no availability. Tune Up on 242 is the place to go. They accept walk-ins and the employees are eager to work.

Tune Up Rayford is a great place for a haircut and a beer. I dont have a beard soooooo. Anyway, this place has very friendly stylists who actually know how to cut mens hair. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

I visited this place for the first time and was blown away. The staff is amazing. Everyone was determined to make my visit the best possible experience. I met the manager and she let me know that it was her job to ensure that I had a great experience. The whisky was a nice touch, but the amazing customer service is what has made me such a fan. If you are looking for a great place to sit back, relax, and re-energize then do yourself a solid and give this place a try.

Hannah did a great job every time. I used to live in Harmony and I liked this location. Now I live in The Woodlands and I go to the kuykendahl location. What I like the most about Tune Up is the bar! I enjoy waiting for my turn with a love street beer.

I’ve been going here a little over a year now and I just want to say I’ve been have Hope cut my hair and she has never disappointed! I was nervous because I was coming from a different barber but Hope made me feel comfortable and she’s very friendly! I will continue to go to TuneUps as long as Hope is there!

I love this place. From the moment you walk in, a mens barbershop with a full bar awaits you, yes I said BAR. Beer, scotch whiskey, whatever your poison. Belly up to the bar and have a drink before your adventure begins. Using their touch screen PC you choose your cut, add a massage ($1 a minute) I suggest you spoil yourself and go for the 15 minutes of pure relaxing shoulder, neck and skull massage with a wonderful smelling lotion. Add a beard trim, straight shave, manicure, pedicure, eyebrow wax or a manly facial for a very reasonable price. Cheaper than what your wife pays and just as good if not better.VIP membership is the way to go. Unlimited haircuts each month with upto 15 minute massage each time. Not just a handheld electric jackhammer pounding your shoulders for 2 minutes, like Fort Flips. The barber at Tune Up lays you back in their rocket ship style chairs, and use a special lotion and really work out some knots from you shoulders to your skull. Then finish with a warm towel for face massage. A VIP also gets unlimited beard trim and eyebrow waxes. Get your guy to get rid of that eye mustache. I’ve been going here for a few months now and I’ve always had a great experience. Price is about the same as other quality places. They are not the cheapest but you can tell when someone gets a cheap haircut.

Been growing my beard for 4 years- Haley is the only person I trust to touch it. Have had bad experiences other places in the past but have not been disappointed here. Drinks included with service is also not a bad deal if you are into that sort of thing.

They were completely booked and Coco sprinted up to my car to let me know they had a cancellation. Very amazing service all around. Could not be happier with my haircut from Maddie!

You should come to this place for a great haircut, amazing atmosphere and cold drinks! Ive been a VIP here for about a year and I love it. If you come here thinking its great clips and you will be in and out in 10 minutes you will be disappointed. They take their time with haircuts and deliver the quality look you are wanting. But that also means sometimes you have to wait. Luckily, THEY HAVE BEER! Come in, get a drink, relax, leave looking and feeling better than you did when you came in! Only place that Ive let touch my lovely locks in the past 10 years. And beer...is there anything else to say. Yes there is more to say. Look good, feel good is truer than poetry. I probably walk in looking good, but I leave feeling great. It may have to do with some of the nice local beers they have on tap, but I dont care. I like the way they make me feel. I like the way a good hair cut makes me feel. This place makes me feel good and I like feeling good. If you want to feel good, then drink beer(s) while you get your hair cut.

2/25/19I got there around 6:15. They close at 7 and when I signed in they told me that there was a 40 minute wait. We waiting and just as 7:00 came around they took me back. Gracy was extremely friendly, profession and willing to do whatever I needed even after they were already closed. She cleaned me up and gave me exactly what I asked for. Amazing service! Amazing environment. Definitely will be returning!

Quick place to get a cut with a cold beer

Excellent place to unwind and get a great haircut. Me and my son (4 years old) come here about once a month, I get a beer and he gets a juice. We will definitely be coming back. David cut our hair recently and did a fantastic job, I highly recommend.

Being a bald guy with a beard I try to take care of my little hair I have and Hannah did a great job. I asked for a straight razor head shave but she told me what she would get it just as smooth with no cuts and she wasn’t wrong. Smooth head and straight razor beard trim amazing stuff and great service go see Hannah.

Stopped in with my 2 sons at 11:55 AM. Was told it would be an hour and a half wait. I asked if they could check us in and we would be back at 1:30. Was told this would be fine. We returned at 1:15 and at 1:55, my boys were still waiting. When I asked how much longer it would be, I was told they were next up however, she continued to tell me that we dont accept appointment times because they cannot guarantee times. I simply stated when we came in, you told us 1.5 hours and it has been almost 2 hours and, a fourth stylist arrived within this time frame so Im not sure what the issue is. Her response was that the 4th stylist was a barber and if someone comes in asking for a straight blade, they have to automatically put that customer to that barber. So, never mind the fact that we waited almost 2 hours for hair cuts (that never happened because we left) but if another customer walks in and asks for a straight blade, after we had already been waiting, they still get served before us?? We will not be returning for this terrible service.

The wait can get a little long. Staff is very friendly and very good but they aren’t really in any rush to get people through. I’ve been three times and I’m pretty consistent when it comes to the day of the week and the time that I go and I’ve yet to have my hair cut by the same person twice. I’m going to keep going.

Just stopped in - first time customer. I heard great things and read good reviews so thought Id check them out. Walked in and two stylists were there. A female had a customer and a male did not. Neither of them said anything to me as I walked in. I stood there for an awkward moment then noticed a registration kiosk. I walked over and registered and chose first available as my stylist. Another gentleman registered after me. The male stylist walked over to the kiosk and looked things over, asked the other gentleman to confirm his name. He then took a phone call and I overheard him tell the caller that a particular stylist was not available and that it was just him and the other female stylist there working at the moment and then book an appointment for the female. He hung up and walked over to his station and sparked up a conversation with the female stylist that was still working on her customer. I waited for a bit thinking he was still setting up his station or something... I then asked the gentleman that registered after me - loud enough that everyone in the establishment could hear me (it was quiet in there) - if he was waiting on the female stylist and he said he was but just for a quick trim. Still no acknowledgment from the male stylist who just continued talking to the other stylist. GREAT FIRST IMPRESSION THE MANLY SALON - ILL NEVER GO BACK!!

My husband took my son in today. It was the first time using this salon. Normally I wouldnt have my husband take my kids to get their hair cut because it is consistently a disaster when he does. This time, however, was a total success! Not only did my son come home with exactly what he wanted, but it was also very well executed and the CUTEST CUT IVE EVER SEEN on my boy! The guys also liked the location, staff, and amenities of the salon including the bar. I wish they did womens cuts too! Id send the whole family! Definitely my first choice from now on. Thank you!!

Yesterday was my first time to try Tune up, as the normal place is too far to drive now. The ladies were all very nice and attentive. Ms Yolanda did my hair. Super friendly, explained everything she was doing, as she knew i was a bit nervous. Sheer did a great job! I will definitely go back, and ask for Yolie (Yolanda).

My barber was David, and he did a great job! All the staff were really friendly and the free beer while you wait is a nice touch. Also, one of the only places that Ive found that offers beard trims. Ill definitely be back

Bought my husband a gif card for Father’s Day and he was excited to try it out. He has always gone to Sports Clips but this place sounded awesome for men and I thought he’d love it. When he got there he went to sign in and someone was getting checked out. When the person getting checked out left the lady just walked away and didn’t even greet my husband, in fact no one greeted him! He sat down and waited and the people there were taking forever. Then a lady walked in with her sons and was greeted and taken back to get their haircut. I am aware they probably made an online appointment but that’s no reason to greet her and not my husband. Just rude! What terrible service I would never recommend this location to anyone!

Who knew there could be more to getting your haircut. I came in here for a cut and was blown away, sign in and sit down to have a beer on the house while you wait. They have sports on, shuffleboard up front, and even an arcade game if thats how you roll. All this before you get your haircut. I sat down with the barber and she got me trimmed up exactly like I asked. Very friendly and personable. A great place to go get away and get trimmed up. Ill be back probably before I even need to.
