I went to Henrys barber shop last month and Mr. Henry cut my hair with no appointment and never mentioned anything about needing an appointment to come back. He did a great job. I showed up this morning and another gentlemen was there. He asked if I had an appointment and I said no. He refused me service saying they are appointment only. When I said there was no one else there he again said appointment only and that he was sorry. There is no where that it says appointment only. I will not be going back to Henrys Barbershop.

I called and made a lunch-hour appointment, first time to try Henry out. Got there, sat in the chair and got a good haircut. No problems at all. Henrys a great guy, friendly as can be and loves to tell about all his customers over the years - especially the famous ones. The wall are covered with sports pennants his customers have sent back from all over.I highly recommend giving Henry a try.

We moved here 3 years ago and we asked everyone where to take my grandson to get a haircut. Everyone recommended Mr Henry, of course we tried him and been coming since wouldn’t think about going anywhere else. I would advise you to make sure you get an appointment.

Henry has been my barber since 1995. My close friend and I always go there at the same time so we can both chat with Henry together while he cuts our hair, one at a time of course 🤣😆 Henry is fast and flawless. He is the best shave in town IMHO. Well worth the $7. Henry was remarkable removing my no shave November beard, and the straight razor smoothed out my face better than my electric razor does. In fact, I bring my own old style traditional straight razor with me to Henrys because he likes it so much and he gets to use his leather strop to condition the blade which he enjoys, as he tells me he gets to retrace his Barber roots by doing it. Shaves are about 20 minutes. Henry has perfected his craft like no other; I will not go to anybody else because Henry is the greatest. When you must call Henry at least 2 days in advance to get an appointment with him, that says everything. Woodlands Barber Shop has been in the same location in The Woodlands since 1979. One of the longest-running businesses in The Woodlands. I assure you Henry has cut almost every man and boys hair that lives or lived in The Woodlands. Everybody loves Henry. Dont sell yourself short. Get Henry to cut your hair. Its a REAL barber shop by the way, old-fashioned just the way I like it. Kids $13, adults $15, and he has a lady barber/stylist that can do womens cuts and styling as well.

Great Haircut with Fun and Friendly Service...

Henry, the owner of the shop is a font of local knowledge, more than likely knows everyone you do and gives a great haircut . His current price is ridiculously low at $11 for kids and $15 for adults. You do need a reservation and may have to wait a day but it is worth it. The shop is an exhibition hall for local teams you will be able to find yours on the wall (or add it).

I was somewhat concerned about getting my hair cut when I recently moved to Texas and Henry saved the day! I have had a jar head flat top for nearly three decades and struggled to find anyone to cut it properly when I lived in Australia for fifteen years. Henry is a very cool dude and his shop is set up in a splendid fashion with All American memorabilia all over the place and I even got to wear the stars and stripes!

Taylor cut and colored my hair. She did a great job. She also cut both my sons hair. Shes a great asset to Henrys shop. I will keep going.

I went to Henrys for my own haricut on a recommendation after having some bad ones at the chains. I shave my own head now, but Henry has cut my sons hair since the very first cut (hes 8 now). I live in Katy now, but I still make sure to make time to take him to Henry. Hes an institution. He cuts his hair exactly how I ask him to and always does a good job.

Henry is awesome! I know he doesnt need this review since he is an institution in The Woodlands, but this is for all the new folks moving there. He has been cutting my hair since I have been 9 years old; I am 28 now. I dont let anyone else cut my hair because Henry gets it right every time. In fact, I moved to Houston about 5 years ago, and I still drive back to The Woodlands once every 5 weeks so Henry can clean me up. Not only is Henry a great barber, he has to be one of the hardest working guys I know. He literally does not turn anyone down and will not close his shop until he takes care of every last customer--this is usually around 11:30P.M. If you want a good haircut and some good conversation about sports, go see Henry--you can thank me later.

This dude is so good that he cuts til near midnight every night. I called at 11am on Saturday and hes booked til Tuesday morning at 930. Hes friendly and cuts like a champ. You definitely need a reservation.

Being new to town, finding a true barber is always a daunting task. The first visit is the hardest. I scoured the web for any barbers in the woodlands that had good reviews, and the only places that came up were SportClips (yuck) and Henrys, but he only had 2 reviews. Both 5 star. I decided to give Henry a shot. Im so glad I did.I was a little hesitant when I first walked in- Henrys Barber Shop is not in a nice strip center and doesnt boast lots of fancy gadgets or decorations. Also, I didnt know what to expect from Henry, who has a personality as big and warm as a panda and a Bride of Frankenstein haircut. Also, I am a young guy in my 20s and was a little nervous that all of the patrons seemed to be in their 50s.Henry was so welcoming and warm. He is so full of life and joy, and he is a pleasure to talk to. PLEASE if you call, dont be scared off or discouraged by his characteristic dis is Henraaaaaayyyyy greeting.
