Have taken my wife’s car to Scott’s on a couple of occasions. Each time I drop the car off in the morning and they have been able to accurately determine the problem and get it fixed in the same day. Although my needed repairs were not on the large scale of repairs this shop is very quick to figure it out and fix it right the first time!!I also really appreciate the fact that I can take a vehicle here and the problem is fixed quickly and at a good price! Never have I had to worry about an upset on things that don’t really need to be done! All of these reason are why Scott’s will keep my business!

Wow! I was impressed with their customer service. Scott and his staff are very friendly. They took my vehicle in on Monday and I didnt expect to be finished in one day. They completed a diagnostic of my issue pinned point the problem and repaired it at a reasonable price. I lived in San Antonio for 16 years and I had a go to Mechanic. I have been in Spring for four years and I finally found my go to Mechanic. Thank you Scott for being honest getting my vehicle repaired in a timely manner.

I am originally from New Orleans and I really dont trust just any mechanic (no wonder why) I dont really trust any mechanic because, typically all they want is more money (I suppose that is anywhere you go!) But since relocating to Spring, TX and owning a variety of different cars; they come and go.??..... Well if you do some of your own tinkering as I, and you get stomped on what the problem is with your vehicle, or vehicles you can always bring your vehicle(s) to Mr. Scott and get a true diagnostic of what is going on with your vehicle(no rip offs)! Really reliable and trustworthy. Also honest and hard working family owned business. God bless them! Spoken from a real live customer. I would recommend this location to anyone! Also have had some work done on my wifes car and was pleased every time! 100. If you cant fix it yourself and need some help, and if you can get your car here you wont be disappointed! They did a great job with my husband’s 2000 Ford F-250, and with my 1985 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. They are honest, and fair. They won’t overcharge or try to talk you into repairs you don’t need. I have been screwed over by several automotive shops, but my husband, his brothers and dad all bring their trucks and work trucks here.Great company!

First visit to any new-to-me shop is usually something easy like an oil change or car inspection. They were very friendly both dropping off and picking up. Price was extremely reasonable.Shop appears very busy so that’s a good sign.I don’t like being ripped off and lied to behind the false pretense of “service first”, and having to prove that a shop is wrong by taking it to the dealer which costs me more time. Time is both precious and priceless.I love working on vehicles but my time is valuable and it helps to have a very local shop I can trust my wife and I’s vehicles to for regular maintenance and repairs.Looking forward to the next visit real soon with my vehicle. I needed to have my cigarette lighter fixed.. Im disabled and took my vehicle here. Keenan checked me in and was very professional and courteous! I live just down the street, he fixed within 15 mins, drove my vehicle to my house and didnt charge me for the fix ..it was just the fuse. A huge thank you!! Scott always takes the time to listen to what is happening with my car. He always calls with an estimate before he does any work. The repairs are great and the prices are fair. They never try to do work on your car that doesnt need to be done. I highly recommend this auto shop.

Honest place and reasonable rates

We live in the neighborhood right behind Scotts Automotive and pass it all the time. We recently started having some issues with squeaking and grinding coming from the front of our vehicle. I wasnt sure whether it was the brakes or whether there was an axle issue but because of the fantastic reviews I felt comfortable calling Scotts Automotive. I wasnt sure if they would be able to help us since I called on a Friday afternoon but they got us in within a couple of hours and were able to assess the issue and get everything repaired by the end of the day. The price was fair and the service was excellent and we will definitely be back for any other maintenance or other issues.

Everyone knows that finding a trustworthy mechanic who won’t rip you off are a rare find. After seeing all the great reviews on Google I decided to give Scott’s a try, and I was not disappointed. Everyone who works here is respectful, friendly, and really wants the best for you. I have been here twice for issues that came up suddenly on my car, and both times they worked with me to resolve the problem as fast as possible and by looking for the best most affordable way to deal with the problem. I will only be coming here from now on.

Ive been to 4 different shops within 30 miles in the last year (for various problems; we have 3 vehicles). This is the ONLY one that Ive been truly satisfied with. In fact, its the best experience Ive EVER had with an auto-mechanic.The regulators went out in our a/c, as well as the window motor. Both of these things have happened to our impala before and we fixed them ourselves last time, but it was a huge pain that we werent willing to do again. Labor cost was more than fair and he did QUALITY work. He even explained to me why the problem had probably reoccurred since wed fixed it ourselves a couple years ago (apparently we needed to calibrate the regulators--oops!). We ordered our own parts online to save a little money, and Scott was fine with this (just made sure we knew he couldnt provide a warranty on the parts themselves, like he would if hed been the one to order them, of course).He also fixed my windshield sprayers (needed a new fuse) FOR FREE.One other problem Id been having with the Impala for almost a year, which I forgot to even mention to him, was that the car had been making a groaning noise when starting up and making hard turns (Id already checked the steering fluid). I noticed the day after I picked the car up from him that this problem was finally gone, too. Checked the receipt and whatever it was, he must have fixed that for free, too. This guys integrity is off the charts!Lastly, when I dropped my car off, the parking lot was packed. I was sure it would be few days before I got my car back, and I was fine with that. Somehow, though, he had it ready for me the next day. I dont know how he does it or when he finds time to sleep, but I am so grateful to have found this place. It happens to be within walking distance from my house, but even if it were 2 hours away Id still go back here for all future repairs (seriously, its worth it!!)THANK YOU, SCOTT!!!!!

My landlady is a retired, crippled up old lady. She has gone here for 4 years always for AC. Always charged between $400 to over $700. I went with her son to ask what was costing so much $.The receptionist went off, that it was ridiculus to even ask. Spouted off her reviews prove they are good people. Never showed numbers on the estimate. She then told us to take the car. I guess she releases cars to any one without ID. She then proceeded to call all the family members using them and said we yelled and screamed at her and she was calling the police when we finally left.Neither of us raised our voices, nor got a break down on the bid and were treated badly. We were lied to and about. I think if you are female or know little about cars that these folks will gouge you unmercyly. Be warned. They lie.

I have brougth my car in many times with things that just didnt sound right and engine lights on.... He checked things out, and found the problem. Most of the time, it was something very simple, and it was an easy fix that didnt take but a code check and he turned it off... He Will Not Take advantage of you.... Give him a chance, and you WILL NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE TO GET YOUR CAR WORKED ON...

Careful doing business with this shop

My mother has been going to Scott’s automotive for the past four years, she has spent hundreds of dollars utilizing this company for service, & repairs. She has had her ac worked on but them at least 2-3 times in the past year or 2 and problems have consisted and arised with no correction. I kept informing my mother to get a quote from them and compare with other companies but she insisted they were a trust worthy, & honest company. So I decided to go in an see for myself after her ac has gone out for the 3 time now, and her car has been grinding and smoking. My mother took her vehicle in this morning, and insisted Scott replace her entire ac unit system in the car new. Scott agreed to do so, and informed her that he would replace the entire unit for her at $775.00 which if you ask me is very reasonable. But I still wanted to double check so I went in to inquire of an estimate and price sheet for what they were hanging on parts and labor because I though maybe she was being price gouged and I even mentioned that I though there prices were a bit high in a calmly fashioned manner. Scott’s front office personal “Pam” I believer her name is, was immediately offended and disgruntled. And she insisted on talking down to me saying I was wrong and how could I even ask such questions, and treated me, and my company with no respect what so ever. And still did not provide me with the information I requested, and began to read me information from the past instead of giving me what I asked, for an estimate on today’s quote/repairs. I was highly professional and respectful towards her and was in no way shape or form disrespectful at all. Still not providing me with any information she began to call Scott saying he should deal with this matter because she will say things that she shouldn’t which she already had done so and was continuing to do so while I said nothing and just listen to what she had to say. Finally after calling Scott briefly, she came back in abruptly and informed us we leave her shop and take our vehicle with us and go somewhere else, still not providing me with what I simply asked for, a quote on the repairs. Briefly after driving my mothers vehicle off their property Scott called my mother, and sister, and told them we were screaming and yelling at them and being unreasonable, in which we did no such thing. Upon leaving his premises Scott pulled up, and yelled out his window at me saying the kit cost him 250.00 dollars. So In other words, I found out he was not going to replaced her entire ac unit as he promised he would do for my mother. What does an entire ac unit replacement involve cost wise? And the fact they couldn’t provide me with any quote? Very dishonest, and unprofessional company I would not recommend them. I may be ignorant as to some vehicle repairs, & replacements but never have I felt so uncomfortable, and betrayed by people I only met once. Terrible experience.

Ill start by saying the good things and that is the facility was nice and professional the refreshments and waiting room is a nice touch and were quick to welcome me and ask what I needed. HOWEVER the most important thing was a big let down. As I came in there to have an AC check on a vehicle, the gentleman up front let me know that basically I would need to buy a new fan and have it installed for $215. He suggested this after he notice that pressure was high on his machine and he said the fan wasnt turning and when he pushed the connector in it started spinning again. He tried to show me and replicate but basically seem to have just pulled out the connector enough to make the fan stopped blowing as I think about it after the fact. I told him that I would have to bring the vehicle back cuz the owner needed to use it within the hour but would try to bring it back the next day to have the fan replace. After some skepticism from myself and owner I took it to a mechanic that does work on his home residence. At this point the vehicle stopped blowing cold air and I told this mechanic what this place had told me and try to show him seeing as the fans had stopped blowing. I Did just like the guy and pushed the connector in just as the guy showed me to get the fan to start blowing again however the fan never blew and this mechanic quickly told me that it wouldnt start blowing because he could tell that it was low on freon. He put some Freon into the system and the air started blowing cold again and the fans kicked on and compressor was clicking on and off as it should and he let me know that theres obvious a leak somewhere. SO my big issue with Scotts Automotive is that this would have been an easy and common problem to diagnose and Im no mechanic but this what have been the first thing I would have checked for instead of trying to get me to purchase a fan that I obviously dont need I see now this guy try to Swindle me! Im hoping that no one else has gotten taken advantage of cuz its people like this that make people not want to trust mechanic shops.***In response, when I initially came to see about the a.c. was for a diagnostic. If it wasnt a proper one to begin with, its obviously cause once again there was dishonesty. I was going to bring vehicle back the next day to have fans installed, not for diagnostic. IM HAPPY TO SAY THE A.C. HAS BEEN FIXED BY A TRUSTED MECHANIC. IT WAS A LEAKING CONDENSOR THAT ONLY COST ME $180 and this mechanic also put in Freon for free until he was able to find and fix the issue.We all drop the ball sometimes, and this could have just been one of those times or maybe its as I suspected. Either way this is my personal experience and opinion.
