We sold our home 4 years ago thanks to Joanne LaPhan. We initially listed it with another Realtor which listed, never saw her after that along with not ever seeing her once in 6 mos. She did managed to call requesting reductions in price often. Then Joanne was referred to us by a co-worker that purchased a home through Joanne and was completely satisfied with the manner in which she did an outstanding job for them. Firing the previous Realtor, we met with Joanne. Joanne explained the obstacles to selling our home due to the unique construction, finding the right buyers for this home was going to be a little harder than a cookie cutter home. All Joannes comments, recommendations and pricing of our home was spot on. Joanne not only listed the home, but actively shown it, finding the perfect buyer she knew the home would require. There were no delays, no problems during the process and home closed on time. Joanne was available to us each and every day during her listing. We found Joanne to display the unique remarkable ability knowing her market, her established network in finding buyers and more importantly how to successfully market our home getting it sold in a short amount of time. I cant say enough about how great Joanne is. She is the most wonderful and caring realtor I have ever met in my life. She goes above and beyond to treat her clients like family. She must be friends with those who put these good reviews. She should not have her license. People in the industry know her reputation for showing the home and then showing up at closing for her check and that is IT. Unfortunately she was my buyers agent and later found out the sellers agent (and friend) as well. Her personal relationship with the seller affected how the transaction was handled - extremely poorly! She did not get along with the lender (that she recommended) and at one point the lender received a completely inappropriate message from her. The lender worked with me through the entire process without her and she did nothing but be nasty to everyone.... she did not allow us choose our own inspector (which is probably illegal and whose business card I found in the bathroom after moving in) and was so rude to him. It was embarrassing. Nobody could talk to her through the process and I was on my own with my lender every step of the way. We were APPALLED at how unprofessional she was! Had to be reminded several times that the lender, inspector, etc were not her enemies. She was late to the inspection, late to the walk through we requested (she didn’t offer one), and items that were supposed to be left at the home (in writing) were not there when we did the walk through. She called afterwards to say they were not advertised with the property but it is in the closing documents signed by both of us. She should know what is in writing is the real deal in this business! Tried to tell me at the walk through that the fans worked (they didn’t) and the home was filthy!!!! She was on her cell phone trying to reach the seller asking for the missing things an hour before closing. Did not explain anything to me and I am now dealing with issues with the property because she did NOT DO DUE DILIGENCE IN REPRESENTING ME AS THE BUYER’S AGENT. My lender should have gotten her commission check because they did ALL her work. I received a nice thank you card from them and zero from her. Did not even receive the executed contract until after. HORRIBLE first time home buyer experience. Don’t believe the fake reviews. Call around to other professionals in the area that have had the unfortunate experience with working “with” her

Joanne is a wonderful caring giving agent. She steps up beyond her responsibilities to assist her clients to ensure they are comfortable and happy with their transactions. She offers an emotional support to her clients when making major decisions in relocation. She will research and provide you with the information you need. If she has or can get you the information, she will. Her willingness to help others lends to the rest of her pleasant personality!

Im not sure why Joanne doesnt hide when I call. She is a one of a kind agent, friend, with outstanding real estate knowledge. Out of the three times she has helped me, two of them were so anything but smooth. If you need a honest, helpful agent this lady is for you.
