After my appointment I left feeling so happy and confident! Her shop is so clean and cute. Nellie takes the time to perfect your brows and even explains what she is doing along the way. Went in for a arm and nose wax. I’ve had my arms done in the past and it seems like the wax is always breaking. Here I was pleasantly surprised the wax was amazing and Nellie did an incredible job. I was given the pleasure to have Nellie apply my very first set of volume lashes. I always wanted to get them done and have always wanted the more natural look because personally I think that’s what would look best on me given that I don’t wear a whole lot of makeup everyday. Trust me, I am a very understanding person and know that people are busy, but if she was she could’ve just said so. If she didn’t have any openings, she could have just said so. If she didn’t want to provide me with service, she could have just said so but no, i was just left on read. Very unprofessional and definitely not a great first impression.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the service I received at Elysian Skin and Body! The shop itself is very clean and I felt calm and comfortable immediately when I walked in. I went in for an eyebrow wax and a dermaplaning session and I could not have been more pleased when I walked out!I usually pluck my own brows but I took a chance with Nellie and Im so glad I did! The waxing process was almost painless and my brows look AWESOME. Theyre so symmetrical and she even filled them so I could get the full effect. Im so happy with how they turned out!As for the dermaplaning, I have very sensitive, acne-prone skin and even after one day I can really see a difference in my complexion. Nellie did such a good job explaining exactly what she was doing while she was doing it and she was very knowledgeable about what products to use on my skin type. She was also very meticulous and gentle but very efficient so I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time.I HIGHLY recommend checking Nellie out! Shes the best!

Nellie is absolutely amazing!!! When I first met her, I went in to get my legs waxed and had both of my kids with me, ages 1.5 and 3. I was a little nervous because I had never been waxed before, not to mention bringing two little ones when some employees at businesses are rude when it comes to that. I always have anxiety about meeting new people and trying new things, but Nellie immediately made me feel welcome in her new (awesome) space, and by the end of my appointment, I felt like we had known each other forever!Ive had my eyebrows waxed before, but Nellie did something magical, and the waxing didnt hurt nearly at all!My eyebrows and eyelashes are blonde and having to color in my brows and put mascara on everyday is so annoying. Nellie tinted my brows the perfect shade and they have never looked better! They look more full and actually have shape! I also had my eyelashes tinted black.I woke up the next day, looked in the mirror, and couldnt believe how good I looked (despite crazy bedhead), without a drop of makeup!I loved my service and I loooooooove my results!
