Char is like my best friend!! I love this place, they make me feel so comfortable and talk you through each step. Just had my first visit here today and it was a complete 180 from anything Id experienced before. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a warm and friendly assistant named Monica who took me back for examination. Both the questions she asked and the diagnostic actions she performed spoke to a level of care I have never before experienced in a dental facility. She was very thorough and transparent in explaining both my treatment options and the costs associated with them. I expected to have an extraction done based on my experiences with other offices, but they informed me that despite the nature of the break in my tooth that theyd be able to save it.Im cheap by nature. I dont spend frivolously and am what one might consider a hard sell. However, between the obvious value of the in-house membership program they offer to those without adequate insurance and the value of the service I received today, I was compelled to purchase a full year of membership with what has to be the best dental clinic Ive ever visited.Most of my previous dental experiences have been nothing short of nightmarish. Thank you for showing me what quality dental care looks like.

I normally shake like a tiny puppy whenever I go to the dentist but for the first time ever it was super calm and relaxing and even fun. The whole team is amazing. Much smoother than I expected. Monica and Dr. Martin made sure I was all numbed up comfy and feeling safe. They also made me laugh a bit which was more than awesome when you are super nervous. Looking forward to many regular visits now that I got the emergency one out of the way hahaha. Oh I called in the morning gave my insurance and was in the same day. Very quick and wonderful.

Great service overall!It was my first time with them and they gave me a small welcoming gift! They do everything while you’re sitting such as the X-rays. Dental hygienist named Vanessa did such a wonderful job and it was the best experience I’ve ever had. She knows when and where to do the water suctioning so that I don’t have to hold my swallow and kept me entertained!

I went in to get my teeth whitened and Monica made my experience so enjoyable she was very knowledgeable and very kind. I wasn’t expecting the results to turn out so amazing my teeth look fantastic. They have reasonable rates and great products to purchase if you have specific needs. I love the report cards they hand out after your visit so I know what to work on for next visit. Decided after some tooth pain to finally give the dentist a call after 5 or 6 years. From the first call I knew I had called the right place. Monica brought me in to take some x-rays and chat about what was going on and did not make me feel guilty or bad about not being in for so long. Dr. Martin came in next and made me feel comfortable about what was going on with my teeth and set up a game plan to get me on the right path. After the first visit I can say my anxiety with the dentist is gone and Im looking forward to getting on the right track with my dental health. Kayla is literally the best! I took my shy 4 year old to see her, after a bad first experience elsewhere. Kayla took the time to explain and show her the tools, and even let her hold some of them to see how they worked. She was patient, kind, and made her feel so comfortable and knowledgeable about what she was doing. I was SO anxious for how this would go, and Im so happy that she gave my daughter such a positive experience so that she wouldnt be afraid to go to the dentist! NorthView Dental is the place to be! I hadnt been to a dentist in years, probably more than 5 years if Im being honest. The team at NorthView made me feel right at home from the first, Hello. Loretta (my dental hygienist for the day) was absolutely amazing in any sense of the word. She immediately quelled any concerns, anxiety, or nervousness I had about coming in for the first time in so long. She also made sure I was relaxed and pain-free the whole time! Trust me, my grill needed an extensive cleaning and I was extremely impressed by her skill, compassion, and professionalism regarding her trade. It really meant a lot to me after past experiences at other practices. The whole appointment was thorough, informative and comfortable from the very beginning! I actually look forward to my next appointment! I wont go anywhere else as long as I live in Spokane.

Today, 11 May 2021, I received a cleaning from Nicole. It was the best cleaning I had ever received in my history of ever going to a dentist. If I had enough money I would hire her to be my professional hygienist. She took her time and went over my teeth with great expertise. We had a great conversation about Montana. Since she grew up there and I went finished college there. She really understood the struggle of having tight teeth because she has them herself. Again she gave the best cleaning I have ever had. Thank you NorthView family dental. I wish I could stay but life is taking me else where. Thank you again Nicole. I still don’t want to eat anything.

Absolutely love this place. I was nervous going in since it has been awhile but everyone, especially Monica and Nicole helped ease the process. The staff is lovely and the doctors are very knowledgeable. I started going to Northview Family Dental a little over a year ago and from the start I had such a pleasant experience with everyone I came into contact with at this office! Everyone is friendly and wants to do everything they can to help you!I recently made the big decision to get porcelain veneers due to some calcification on my front teeth(among other issues as well).. I have been working with Monica and Dr. Martin for this process and they have been more than great!Dr Martin is so helpful and goes the extra mile! He emails AND texts me back super FAST when I have any concerns. He even came in TODAY (on his day off) to make sure that my temporary veneers are going smoothly. We are still waiting for the porcelain veneers to come in and I have confidence that if I have any further questions, he will be there to answer them!Monica has a heart of gold. She has been so supportive and comforting in this entire process as well!I highly recommend going to this office if you are tired of other dental offices that treat you like just a “number”. I’ve been to several dentists and none compare to Northview Family Dental! 😊

I had to go in and get an old filling redone. Dr. Startin was very kind and gentle. Char helped with the filling and made me feel very comfortable. She is very outgoing and knows how to make a person laugh. I would recommend working with these two.

I saw Dr. Martin and my dental hygienist was Kabao. Both were absolutely fantastic! Id highly recommend them to anyone. One thing that drew me to this business was they give complimentary comfort items like nitrous (laughing gas), a warm blanket, Netflix, and Pandora... to name a few. They have a whole list of complimentary comfort items! I really appreciated that I didnt feel like the business was trying to nickle and dime me along the way as other offices have done in the past. So thankful to find such a fantastic office!!

I called to change it to my regular “Nicole “ .. the receptionist told me I might be delayed in my spot .. “ no problem !! They found a cancellation.. and I got in for the next week !! Previous traumatic dental experiences as a child have made me super stressed about any dental appointments/work. The anxiety from these past experiences made me wait far too long to go back to the dentist and I ended up needing pretty extensive dental work. NorthView dental has eased my anxiety and has been so understanding and gentle in helping me get my dental health back in order. I had my first 2 1/2 block of work done with Dr. Leale and Filbert this morning and it was painless and flew by. I am so happy I found this office and already dont have as much anxiety about my future dental work. Highly recommend NorthView dental to anyone and everyone!

Exceptional. Everyone here is kind, warm, friendly, honest, and completely non-judgmental. For my first visit I was greeted by someone who walked me around the office and explained how they do things there, really set me at ease.I was mostly treated by Monica (a dental assistant I think?), who was basically the nicest person I’ve ever met and clearly knew what she was doing, she did everything quickly and smoothly while keeping me calm. Dr. Martin came in to discuss our plan and he was also very kind and helpful.The office makes sure to call your insurance while you are there and help you figure out a payment plan for future visits and your dental goals, and they are able to work with you in a number of ways. I haven’t been able to keep up with dental visits during the pandemic and have had financial distress as well, and they understood completely and did everything they could to reassure me and help me out.They also offer complimentary Netflix or Pandora, a sleeping mask, pillow, blanket, and laughing gas, so definitely the place to go if you have anxiety about seeing bc a dentist!I also returned to have my teeth cleaned and saw Bridgette, who was also very nice and efficient and didn’t judge me for having skipped a lot of cleanings in recent years.

Liked the Dentist themselves, but the office and scheduling needs some work. Over the past two years my husband and I each have made 3 different appointments and each time they call us a week before and need to reschedule. Twice it has been because the hygienist is gone and once because they decided to change their office hours.

NorthView Family Dental is the first dental office I have visited in Spokane. I had such a great dental experience. The front office was very welcoming and friendly. They made me feel like I was supposed to be there. My hygienist, Jonni, was the best. She knew what she was doing and didn’t beat my mouth up like other hygienists in other offices I’ve visited in the past. My dentist, Dr. Martin, was great as well. Had a great experience. Very people friendly staff. The staff that worked there is divers, and they are open to a variety of different type of clients. I took my husband for an important dental appointment and Monica was our main medical assistant; she took her time to make the procedure was done right and other staff was happy to help her out as needed. The were professional, as well as, un intimidating. Since I have a fear of dentist and doctors. They made the experience worth wile and I will be returning. I would highly recommend them.

To say that I am not a fan of the dentist is an understatement. The level of service that I have received from this team is second to none. Having had to have multiple visits now I can say that the kindness and care that I have received from Char, Joni, and Kayla reflects a culture of putting the customer first. They take the time to explain what they are doing. Dr. Martin is warm and friendly and kindly answered all of my questions. I went and got my exam and cleaning done recently, it was a great experience especially for someone that has neglected going to the dentist for many years. I’ve had problems with my teeth to say the least, but I was made completely comfortable with KAYLA as my dental hygienist. She’s so personable, gentle, and talented. She tells you everything she’s about to do, and asks if anything is hurting. She really is a great professional, ask to see her if you’re someone like me, you won’t be let down.I mentioned I felt nervous about my teeth because in the past I’ve had a lot of work I needed done, and will need done in the near future. She explained it’s completely fine, and even she has had to have some work done on her teeth. She doesn’t look down on her patients even if their teeth are less than perfect. You won’t find her annoyingly giving you a big lecture too. I can’t recommend this office for care enough, especially with KAYLA.I do want to mention the front desk lady was amazing too, I can’t remember her name, but she’s young with partially blonde hair. Total sweetheart.

I was taken care of by Char and Dr. Leale. I had to have a permanent filling done from my root canal. I was fortunate to have Char, she was prompt and waiting, she took her time and did a careful job. Dr. Leale is a pleasure to have as always.

Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable, they walk you through each step and ensure your comfort. They have a little menu of comfort items like tea, water, blanket, etc to offer when you check in. My hygienist Nicole was gentle and kind. I felt very welcome and would highly recommend this office to anyone needing late afternoon or weekend appointments, and anyone with dental anxiety!

I have to share what a fantastic job these folks did! I am a big baby about going to the Dentist, but the staff was exceptional!! Dr. Martin is outstanding!!

This place was great!!!! I was a first timer...it was a wonderful experience for being a new dental office... filbert made me super comfortable and explained everything...nicole giving novocaine was super awesome at it I almost didnt feel the needle...lol not joking lol...but Dr.Leale was great..super pro...extracted an otherwise very hard tooth to get out made it seem easy lol...if your thinking about changing or starting to get your teeth fixed I recommend here...I didnt like my last dental office they treated there patients like cattle with no bedside manner I hated going to the dentist...I am super glad I found Northview and even more grateful...

Dr Lee in Monica made me feel very comfortable I usually go under when I have a root canal and other dental work done but they made me feel very comfortable without it and thank you thank you guys very much for everything.

I switched my dentist to be here, and all I can say is I am so happy I did, the people are so nice, they make sure you are taken care of, my dentist assistant is Monica and she is fun to talk to and she is very nice, my Dr. Leale is awesome too, he is nice as well and he makes sure you are taken care of. 5 star for me.

DO NOT trust Northview Family Dental. After a impatient and hasty visit they recommend only the most expensive services and think only they know what you need best. These wack jobs tell you its one price and will charge multiple times for for one visit. Please save yourself time and money by going elsewhere. Terrible company to go to.

The staff was professional and friendly!! Vanessa did a great job in cleaning my teeth and explaining what she was doing throughout my dental visit. It was a smooth visit with not much waiting.

Hello All: I wanted to take a minute to post this important information. I had an appointment with Dr. Martin and his assistant Monica this morning. I had a difficult tooth that required a crown that was located in the very back of my mouth! They did an excellent job working with the problem tooth! They were both kind, helpful and accommodating in every way to help and make me feel comfortable and reassured. Excellent work and congrats to them and to Northview Family Dental Clinic for a job well done, and for providing state of the art professionals and dental service to our community.

I am definitely not a fan of the dentist, but after going there for the first time, I actually wanted to come back sooner. Everyone is extremely friendly. From the person that greeted me, to the dentist. I dont know what their hiring practices are, but one requirement must be that you have to be friendly. Looking forward to going back.

I had a truly traumatic experience at Aspen dental getting my 4 wisdom teeth removed last Friday. When I desperately needed help and a second opinion, Northview got me in for an appointment extremely quickly, on a Saturday. They made me feel so cared for and comforted, and I was a blubbery sobbing mess. They addressed my concerns, and fielded and embarrassing number of crying calls from me. Every single person I have interacted with has been kind and wonderful. There was a complication that had to be addressed this morning with another surgery, and I was terrified. Dr Leale and Filbert walked me through everything from the procedure, healing, and even billing to make sure I was okay. They made sure I was in no pain, and fixed the complication quickly and expertly. Filbert even made me a makeshift weighted blanket to calm my anxiety. They are kind to my child, who I had to bring with me to two emergency appointments this week. They managed my pain, and I am actually feeling better tonight for the first time all week. This experience was so scary for me, and Northview has been nothing short of exceptional. I will be bringing my toddler here, my husband comes here, and I will return here for all future dental needs. Thank you guys so so much for everything you’ve done to help me this week. I wish I remembered the name of every hygienist that I’ve seen and the receptionists too! Angels every single one. I could not be more thankful to have found them!! Thank you thank you thank you 😭❤️

This is the first dentist I went back to after not being at the dentist for far too long. I have horrible anxiety of dentists from past experiences and Northview Family Dental changed everything for me. They have this nice little booklet that they give you ever visit where you can check off certain things you personally need in order to feel comfortable and do an amazing job of letting you know exactly what theyre doing for this visit, what theyll be doing for the next, and what the budget will be. Everyone that works there is so incredibly sweet! The last time I went I was with Char and Dr. Martin and they did an incredible job of making sure I was comfortably the whole time, asking me if I was alright consistently and constantly making me laugh and feel at peace. This is without a doubt the best dentist Ive ever been to and I recommend it for everyone, especially those who are turned off to dentists due to anxiety!

Love Dr. Startin and his assistant Julia. I’ve experienced a lot of dental trauma and have medical issues that can create issues with dental care. This office is exceptional in both their manner and approach to each individual patient. If you’re looking for a dentist that can meet your unique needs, you need look no further. Not going to lie, I was nervous to go back to Northview after being gone for over 2 years ( and I mean not seeing any dentist in over those years) but upon my arrival my Hygienist Kayla welcomed me like shed seen me the other day. Behind the mask I could feel her friendly smile and sweet personality that she always carries. Right then my worries went away and it made me miss this wonderful place more. Thank you Kayla for taking care of my teeth but most of all making me feel comfortable!

Today I had a long appointment, bridge work ☹️ 2 1/2 hour appointment. Ouch 🤕 But the staff was very friendly and helpful, Monica was my hygienist and Dr. Leale is my dentist, they made that 2 1/2 hours as good as possible. I even laughed a few times. I definitely would recommend them to my friends and family

First visit with them today. They couldnt deal with the issue I have because it needs to be dealt with by a surgeon, but I was very impressed with the intro tour, and everyone was so kind and understanding of my phobia. I hope to use them in the future. Doctor Sartin was super polite and nice, and I love Amber already. Sorry that I dont remember the Hygenists name, but she was great, too, and made me very comfy.
