My daughter had the clutch slave master cylinder replaced at a very reasonable price, but, unfortunately a front tire was flat and damaged. The owner stepped up and fairly compensated her for the tire. Good business, good prices. Would recommend!

Larry diagnosed my trucks engine issue quickly which resulted in a 10 minute repair. Refreshing to deal with someone that knowledgeable and honest!

Larry and Dale are terrific. They have earned my trust as well as my wifes. When others in this city say one thing you can expect the truth even if it disagrees with another company. If it is needed to be replaced ok however if not they will prove their own diagonis (?). started in 1969 dealing with them and no regrets.

They are a good neighborhood mechanic shop. I stopped by to get air in my tires. No one was in either office. Think it was to early. Not all mechanics were there.

I brought my car in. They replaced my MAP sensor thinking it could possibly be causing the issue and it ended up being something more that I need to bring to the dealership. They didnt charge me since they were not able to fix the issue. I appreciated that so much as I am a college student and sounds like I will be ending up dumping a lot into this car. Chevy is charging me $110 to just look at it, and that doesnt even include the price to fix it.Thank you!

I had one of my mechanic called this place and they gave us a price $100 to inspect our Transfer Case.But after we dropped the transfer case we waited for two days, they did not call us back. So we called and left messages for Larry but he didn’t call us back!Finally we got a call that they inspected the transfer case and it was good, they didn’t have to replace any parts.When we went to pick it up, he ripped us of and charged us $256 rather than $100 the price they gave us when we first call. Owner Larry also let us know his Love for Donald Trump and he said all the current problems are Obama’s Fault!No wonder he ripped us off, Larry a Trump Supporter like Trump : not a business man but a Con Man!

I had originally gone to a chain auto repair shop to figure out why my truck was misfiring. They had charged me just to do an inspection and were going to charge me another large sum to do a deeper inspection. I then called Ulricks and they fit me in right away and were able to do the work that day for a fraction of what the chain shop was going to charge me just to do a deeper look. Im never going to take my car anywhere else as long as Ulricks is there standing. Best shop in Washington.

Received a call that it wasnt the clutch, nd that because I had prepaid I had a refund of $600 waiting for me as a refund. My truck is driving smoother than when I bought it!!! My A/C went out on 7/3/15 - the day before Independence Day and my vacation. My regular mechanic closed early for the holiday. I drove around looking for a shop that was open. I found Ulricks and Im so glad I did!They took my car in at 1:30 p.m. the day before the holiday. They diagnosed the problem and called for the part (A/C compressor) right away. I was out the door by 5 p.m. with the new compressor installed. Unfortunately, the new compressor had a defect and they realized it before they finished with my car.They told me to bring the car back after the vaca and they would take care of me...which I did. They replaced the compressor again with no extra charges.Ulricks is my new shop. Its hard enough to find a good (and honest) mechanic...and nearly impossible to find on that would do what they did for a walk-in customer.

I had heard a lot of people say what great service you get here at Ulricks, but that just wasnt the case with me. My car was driving very rough. I took my car in to Ulricks to have the spark plugs changed because diagnostic tests said my car was misfiring one specific plug, but I changed all of them as recommended. My car was returned in the same rough condition and I was told that it probably needed a couple of things done to it to fix the problem. Altogether, changing the plugs and these two additional jobs would put me over $300.I had just watched the program The Lookout the evening before that showed how woman are charged enormous amounts of money for unnecessarily repairs to their cars, so I took my car else where. Diagnostic tests revealed that my car was still misfiring at the same spark plug. I told them I had just had my spark plugs changed the day before, but when they pulled out the plug, it had been cracked in two places. I was charged $20 to fix the problem. I paid it with much appreciation. They did not even charge me for the diagnostic test.

I arrived at their shop with 2 hours left til closing and they were kind enough to fix my car that day still. Including the time it took for the belts to arrive and be replaced it was only 45 minutes. Also very reasonably priced and locally owned.

I went here after having gone to Firestone and veibe told I had 4k of repairs to do on my car. The receptionist was sweet, warm and talkative. The man who I think was the owner was friendly, informative, and couldnt believe I had to fix that many issues. He took a look at it and cut the cost down to under 1k for me to fix it. He did say the other things from Firestone was things on the kili but not issues I had to fix now which is not what Firestone told me. Im quite happy with this place and am totally recommindire here to others.

I own a shop in Northern CA . Recently I had one om MY customers transfer case failunder warranty. It was towed to ULRICKS . They took care of the failure working with me the builder and my customer getting the job out in the matter a few of days. Just by talking to them I can tell that this is one professional shop. I have had two transmissions rebuilt at Ulricks for my hot rod builds. Never any problems and always delivered as promised. Stopped in to see Larry today about my slip yoke that I marred slightly with my vise, he was happy to help and friendly as always. Great shop would highly recommend.

They arent about money, money, money....they are about family. From what I know it is a family owned and operated business. Everytime I have taken my cars there they have been amazing!!!! I have had 5 vehicles getting serviced there since I was 18. Most recently this month. They figured out my distributor went out. They quoted around $300 for parts and labor which was cheaper than anywhere else. My ending bill.....$241 and change. My car stopped working the next day, they towed it up there and fixed it and had me back out on the road the same day. Then we find out my alternator went out this last weekend and they bid about $200 and it came to less than $100. They are miracle workers and I can never thank them enough for how much they have saved us!!!!!! We live paycheck to paycheck and to find a place that not only has the best deals in town but 9 times out of 10 goes lower than what they bid....all I have to say is WOW, I cant believe there are still people like that around in this day of age!!! Good Repair, I am happy!

I had my C4 rebuilt in my 1966 mustang. It took a little while since the parts for that transmission are harder to find than the later versions of the C4. They put a shift kit in also to firm up the shifts. It isnt a daily driver, but it really goes when you put your foot in it with no issues as of yet. Very pleased. Ill be having them rebuild my ZF5 in my 96 Powerstroke next week! Great place, great service!

Larry is a stand up guy is honest and fair would recommend them to all.long story short I had a front seal leak on a 78 ford they fixed it but the trany had loose bolts and reverse started slipping and larry took care of it and fixed it with no charge not to many folks stand behind there work you wont be disappointed

Had a very unique repair with my 2000 RAV4 on the 5th gear popping out, it was a known TSB issue and I interviewed 3 shops, Ulricks was the only shop where the owner knew of this issue, and done several of these repairs before. I had all the parts just not the tools to proceed. He quoted a very fair price, and kept the commitment to get the work done on the day promised.
