The service was great. Arrived on time. Friendly. He quoted a price for a possible future repair and gave me his recommendation for a replacement when this one quits working. My only comment is since he worked on the washer, I now have to turn off to open and close door and start the machine. Its just backwards of what it was before he serviced the machine.
Appreciated how professional my tech was. A big bonus for me was that he wore a mask at all times.

I made a service appointment on Friday 12/20/19 for a service call on Monday 12/23/19 to replace my dryer belt. I was given a nine hour service window (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.)On Monday 12/23/19, I waited all day and did not receive any form of update in reference to my service call. I then contact Sears via web chat and was given an exact time of 4:30. At 4:32, I contacted them again only to be informed that the technician was running late.It’s extremely disappointing how the quality of service has gotten with Sears and many other companies nowadays. There’s a total lack of pride and commitment to service.
Overall satisfied. The technician was fantastic. He was super nice to my wife who was home when he got there. Took extra good care of us and explained everything in detail. The only issue we continue to have with the warranty service is the amount of time it takes to get service. Our grass was way over due to be cut but we couldnt. Fix the time issue and things will be great for all.

I scheduled my appointment online in the morning and was lucky enough to have someone out at 2:00 the same afternoon. The serviceman arrived on time, was courteous, professional, neat, thorough and completed the job quickly. I couldnt be more pleased with the workmanship. I highly recommend Sears repair service.

NO STARS!!! Worst ever! I will NEVER purchase a warranty from SEARS again. There is an issue with the drainage and funky stuff collecting behind the gasket where a consumer cannot possibly access to try to clean and the sludge (similar to the stuff one might find in a shower drain) is causing a horrible odor in the clothes once they come OUT of the wash. If a washer doesnt CLEAN clothes, they the are NOT clean, right??Of the 6 days I have wasted waiting on repairmen (ranging from 8-12noon and 8-5pm) repairmen have NOT called prior to arrival to give a time window for arrival, repairmen have NOT knocked or rang doorbell and put a note on the door and drove away, repairmen have been RUDE, repairmen have come and told me they cannot fix the problem without ever looking at the washer, and repairmen have told me the issue can only be fixed by taking apart the washer, which is a two-man job and such an invasive repair would create further issues with the washer in the future, so its not recommended. Of the over 15 HOURS of phone time wasted speaking to SEARS repair services, Protection Plan services, NO ONE in the organization has any ability to approve replacement citing, unless the washer has been repaired 4 times, it doesnt qualify for replacement under the conditions of the warranty. SIX times they have been scheduled to come out and NONE of the technicians TOUCHED the machine because they could not fix the issue!!! HOW ABSURD is that?!? The odor caused by the collection of sludge has permeated the machine parts and transfers the smell to the clothes EVERY wash!!!Called again today to ask how warranty can take care of the problem...they wanted to send out ANOTHER repairman and have me sit home 8-5pm to wait for them AGAIN!!!I DONT THINK SO!!!!!
The Sears tech that came out was very knowledgeable about my mower. He was very thorough and cared about his work and my riding mower. He checked everything out and test drove my mower after he finish the repair. I still think this mower is a lemon, but with techs like him, he can keep it running. I rate him a 5 star.
Weve had this Kenmore Convection Microwave for almost 2 years. Weve had to have it fixed 4 times. Each included replacing the door. The convection feature initially worked, but about 1 year ago it stopped baking. The repair person has never been able to fix it. Each time this repairman comes, he looks at the microwave, informs us he has to order a part and then we have to wait 3 weeks for him to show up again to try to fix it. This past try, he order another $500+ door and a $100 sensor. He replaced the door and put in the sensor, my husband asked him to check it before he left because...but the repairman wouldnt because he said he didnt have time. So one day after he tried to fix the microwave, I baked corn bread for over 40 minutes (should take 20 min) and ended up cooking it in my oven. It looks like the repairman will be back out again.I also I wanted to note 2 things: The repairman didnt clean up his mess he left all my stove & counter from pulling out the microwave.Also, each time the repairman comes, Sears schedules a time frame between 8am-5pm, they will not schedule a 2-3 hour time frame, never according to Katie, the customer I spoke to...who refused to make me a 2-4 hr time frame and refused to refund or change out this microwave.
We have had a Sears contract now on our heat pump for 37 years and would not consider doing anything else. The service man is always professional and explains what he has done and why. I would like to have a more specific appointment time other than sometime between 8 and 5. We sat here all day and had to run out for a short period and missed him. Had to make another appointment sometime between 8 and 5.

The technician, who had also performed our yearly appliance check-up in 2015, was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable regarding the service performed on June 14, 2016. We needed a new bottom rack on the dishwasher, which the technician ordered. We actually received it within two days, which was a pleasant surprise. HVAC service and repair did not improve the cooling efficiency of the unit. The service /repair needed was beyond the authority of the technician. The technicians diagnosis was a bad compressor and a unit on its last leg, in need of replacement. The technician elevated the problem to the next level. He explained all the issues and problems that he found and why he was unable to effect repair/replacement on the spot and that he was elevating it for resolution. The technician was courteous, patient, knowledgeable, and professional in all his interactions and service. However, I am now in wait for Sears to honor its agreement with a longstanding (15 plus years) program participant and replace my unit so I may once again enjoy cool air and a working A/C unit.

The Technician was knowledgeable and helpful, I believe. I think the problem is with the design of the ice-maker being in the Refrigerator portion of the Refrigerator/Freezer unit. The ice-maker has frozen up again a few days after the technicians visit. I love the big refrigerator and the double ice-makers but the top ice-maker keeps freezing up. Thank goodness for the bottom ice-maker, or we would run out of ice.Our most recent repairman visit on 2/16/17 was really not worthy of mentioning other than the repairman didnt really work on the refrigerator at all. He was just telling us how often he sees this problem with this brand and type refrigerator. He did tell us to change from crushed ice to cubed ice and that would probably cure the problem. We did that and it has been several days now and it is still leaking some water from the upper ice maker and some crushed ice comes out occasionally from it even though set on cubed ice. It is going to ruin our floor with the water dripping down there.
Service on my washer and dryer is great had trouble with washer flooding out my kitchen floor which is no good now due to first tech. Saying nothing was wrong with my washer so he left it running and flooding out my kitchen floor more im disable could not get in kitchen in my wheelchair because water was too high.And now the washer is fix but my wood floor is ruin and they are telling me nothing can be done but my warranty is suppose to cover it if washer cause it which it did. So my landlord is very upset he just put that new floor in about a year ago. So i feel Sears Warranty needs to fixed it like they told me they would.
The final repair person that came did a great job.No one called ahead of time to let anyone know the repair person was going to be there. Was told when the appointment was set the repairman would call at least 15 minutes to arrival.The day prior the appointment was between 8am and 12 noon but at 1220 pm no call and the appointment had to be rescheduled. However, no one called to say anything about the repairman going to be late or that he/she was running late.The appointment scheduler didnt know why the repair person had not arrived..Also, is there a new way for the repairman to update his/her arrival time?

Cancelled right before they were suppose to be here. Already had had A&E cancel twice and when I called to question Sears I found out they has subcontracted with A&E!!!! At least that is what I understood the non american to be saying. Local is the way to go

Paid almost $300 for range repairs and the problem was never fixed. When I asked the techician about making it good they wanted to charge me more to replace more parts for the same issue.A huge waste of time and money. They did end up refunding about $80 of the $290 that I paid them.
Need to get people who can half speak english to answer your service calls. The man/woman I spoke to was very Ill mannered and had a very hard time understanding.
I have had the ice maker replaced twice. The first time we called it was leaking water all over the inside of the freezer. It took two visits but it was repaired and has worked well until recently when it started leaking again. The ice maker was replaced and it does not leak but it makes very little ice. Some times it will go 12 to twenty four hours without emptying a tray of ice. It makes ice and it is frozen in the tray but it does not dump it into the container. We make ice every day in ice cube trays. Ok according to the technician it works and yes it does. If you consider this working. I was told if it breaks again we have still have a warranty until October but with Sears financial problems if they go bankrupt our warranty is worthless. So I have an ice maker that is beyond slow and a technician who refuses to do anything with it because it works.

My mom purchase an elite Sears refrigerator which cost over $3,000. A year later the compressor goes which is the heart of the refrigerator. Sears repair people were so backed up they had to use an outside contractor. Since they have so many problems with the compressor it took over a month for the repair because it was back ordered. I lost $900 worth of food Sears would only pay for $300. Dont buy from Sears never had this problem with Lowes.
This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a company. They came out twice to fix the same problem we were having with our washer after which BOTH times and $350 dollars later the washer was worse than before servicing it. I was told their work had a 90 day guarantee. NOT TRUE! After a month of disputing this, multiple calls and I do mean multiple calls the bottom line is they will not do a thing about this!! A horrible way to treat your customer who bought your appliance in the first place!

The repair happened in one day, which is very commendable.The communication was not very good, in that, the refrigerator that was being repaired was at a tenant house and I had given the repair people my cell phone to call me when they headed my way, it never happened.I finally got in touch with the service company, they texted the tech and told him to call me when he came my way.An hour later I contacted the tenants and they said the dude had already come and fixed the refrigerator and left.The refrigerator is fixed and operating well, but lousy coms.

Terrible job. Sears has been to my home eight times, replaced multiple parts and our almost-new oven has failed almost immediately after each and every repair. Our wall oven is still not fixed after 5 months. And they dont keep scheduled appointments as promised. Use another vendor.

Samsung Refrigerator/Ice Maker Freezing Up and Leaking - Technician was very thorough, explaining each step he was reviewing to determine the possible issue. He found a significant crack in the ice tray (dispenser) that may be causing the stored ice to melt thus causing the leak. However the freezing up was a known problem with Samsung and unfortunately not repairable.We approved the purchase of a new ice tray, received and installed. This did not fix the leaking. After 3 different technicians have not been able to fix the problems, we have decided the only way to fix, is to buy a new (not Samsung) refrigerator.
Ive scheduled 3 repair visits. Each time, ice received multiple voice mails or text reminders days before and the day of, telling me the repairman will be there between 8AM and 5 PM. The first gentleman did have the courtesy to call me when he was 30 minutes away. I explained that the icemaker makes ice but doesnt drop the ice in the bin. He came and checked everything but that. Charged $134 for the visit and I still had no ice!. Fortunately I had his cell phone, called him and he suggested I buy a new icemaker. I did and installed it, no ice. Paid $123 for the new icemaker.2nd repairman came, no alert when he would arrive other than between 8AM and 5PM, numerous reminders. Said the icemaker was defective, put in another new one, also defective. After further tests and calls, determined the issue was the motherboard. Ordered the part and charged me $409 which covered the 3rd repairmans visit to install it.He came, installed the motherboard and left, no ice. I reinstalled the new icemaker again, and now have ice $666 later. Do not understand why the repairman couldnt call when they are within an hour of arrival (one did). Do not understand why they could not check the machine out more thoroughly to ascertain that it was not working.Definitely believe I waa overcharged and inconvenienced by the lack of a phone call or text prior to arrival. Customer service is very lacking. Voice mail instructed me to go online to receive an estimate, which I did. But it only told me, arrival will be between 8AM and 5pm . All 3 repairmen were extremely courteous and professional.
If i could put less than one star i would.called about an emergency was put back 3 weeks and one the day of my appoitment nobody called and i missed them. their customer service is just awful.

Lg sucks 65th time out and still not working
I never know if my problem will be fixed or not. I bought the Kenmore Elite Refrigerator and the ice maker has been a problem. It was worked on under warranty and i bought an additional warranty and my problem was never fixed. Several different service technicians have been to my home and the problem still happens. I ask after the 8th time the same problem happened what am i to do and I was told i could not have a replacement. Now i have paid for another service agreement for $254.39 for yet another year to help cover the cost for service technicians to come to my home and fix nothing.I hope someone from upper management with Sears will read this and help.My review grade would be a F-
