I was very happy with the service we received from Nevada Heating. We had to have a replacement AC installed and the bidding process had been difficult with other businesses. Nick was responsive to all my questions and was very thorough in determining what was best for our home and family. The installer Edward did a great job on the day and was also made sure I knew what to expect.Overall the service and the quality of the installation made me feel comfortable with what turned out to be a big decision and purchase.

Randy came over to clean and check my AC unit. He was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. The ladies I spoke with over the phone were very polite, and they were able to book an appointment in a timely manner. All around excellent customer service! My central a/c unit died sometime last night. I was not aware until the unit kicked on early this afternoon. I first called Sierra Air and to their credit, they could not help right away but suggested Nevada Air might help. I called a little before 4 pm today and within 2 hours, my problem was diagnosed, options explained, fixed, and out the door. I was truly amazed by the quick response and outstanding repair job and full explanation by Taylor Martin. For a brief moment, i thought he may have been an angel. :)

Thomas performed the Spring start-up on my swamp cooler, (a task I dread every year). I signed up for the Club Membership to have this service done (3) times a year for both Spring start-up and Fall shutdown which saves me a lot of money. I also get priority scheduling so when the Summer heat arrives Im all set. Thomas did an excellent job and professional job and I am very happy with Home Energy Experts and highly recommend them.

The unit they put in is as though I have a helicopter on my roof. They never called or asked if I was happy with my purchase like Jet does but they did get it installed fast.

I called Nv heating to come out because my air conditioner had gone out. When I scheduled the appointment I was told I would be taken care of and the problem solved that day. The person they sent made sure to let me know he would be collecting his service fee at the end of the visit. He tried to sell me things I didn’t need, like a whole new unit and a blower motor He informed me the blower motor was out and it would be $751 to replace it. I could order it right then and wait a week to get it in, in the mean time I would have no air downstairs. I told him I would think about it and let him know. . I paid his service fee and sent him on his way, without having my air conditioner repaired. I called someone else they came out that evening and found the problem within 25 minutes and repaired it. I didn’t need to purchase a new blower motor or whole new unit as told to me by Nv Heating. I paid $99 for ?

The service tech, Eric, was excellent and very polite. He explained everything he was going to be doing for an A/C tune up. Its a 23 year old unit and we never had a tune up done. He explained all the results to me and which numbers were great and parts that could start to go out with the age. He replaced those and even showed me the old part to let me see what can happen. And these parts should allow the unit to continue to operate correctly. My hubby and I used Home Energy Experts last year to replace out 22 year old hot water heater and they were great then as well. Nice people and great company!

We want a gas fireplace in our home in Dayton. We made an appointment and met with Randy I’m not sure if he is a salesman or the owner. We looked around asked questions and took the brochures home. After looking at all of our options we decided what we wanted and made an appointment for measurements etc. They came out and measured etc. Then we waited and waited to get the estimate and how to move forward. Well we didn’t hear anything so called and spoke to Randy he said he would have the estimate back that day well that was about three weeks ago we have heard nothing. If we did hear back we would be very hesitant to move forward what if they just don’t show up. I’m sorry we wasted our time maybe this review will help someone else considering such a high priced item.

Brandon has been my Home Energy Expert technician for over a year now. He is professional, thorough, personable, respectful and explains everything he is doing. I am more than confident in the work he does and that he only does work that will keep my home up and running rather than up-selling me on things I dont need. After a misunderstanding and a missed appointment, the manager called and we were able to straighten it all out. Someone came out the same day and all is well. Eric (the technician) was courteous, knowledgeable and professional. He answered our questions about the AC system cheerfully and in terms we could understand. He explained the benefits of the kit he recommended for our AC unit but did not pressure us to purchase it. We ended up buying the kit and it did what he said it would (lower the amps being drawn when the unit started up).

Okay, everything was just as great as it always is with Brandon. He helped install my unit 3 years ago and now he does maintenance. He is so personable and such an asset to your company. I give him an A-1 rating.

On 2/1/21, The thermocoupler on our gas furnace went out and I called this company to have it replaced. The service man, Taylor came and replaced the part. I have no problem with him. What I do have a problem with is the pricing of this part. The service call was $99, which was ok. It only took Taylor about 15 minutes to change the part. The price they charged for the thermocoupler, is another story. This part costs between $10 and $20 retail and they are easy to find, yet we were charged $298 for it. We werent informed of the part price before it was installed or we would had refused it. We found out when we read the emailed invoice! This is a very inexpensive part that we were price gouged On! There is no excuse for taking advantage of customers in this way!!! Nothing can justify this price. We have been ripped off and robbed by this company! DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED DOLLARS USING NEVADA HEATING AND AIR! There are lots of other honest and reasonable companies out there! We will put this review everywhere we can to save others from this kind of a screwover By this company!!!

We were getting the run around from a home warranty and decided instead of continuing on having no air in 100 degree temps we would just get it done. We called Home Energy Experts and they immediately sent out a tech. Randy was very professional and explained everything to us. We decided to contract with them for a whole unit replacement and are happy with this company for our choice.

E. that I wont use my old plumber again.Heres how it went.Wednsday I googled inexpensive Water Heater Install Reno NV.An ad came up and it needed my name, phone # heater make and size and that someone would contact me shortly. I complied and hit send.A few minutes later the phone rang and a few minutes later I had been scheduled a no cost estimate for the next day.Thursday at 12:15 pm Nicholas fromH.E.E. called and said he was on his way.12:30 pm Nicholas arrives and in about an hour I had an appointment for Friday at 2:00 PM to have my new H. W. H installed for a lot less than I expected to spend.Friday 2:05 PM Mike and Blake arrive in a Green and White Box Truck. Mike makes sure hes not going to hit any power lines and Blake puts out the cones. Then they both introduced themselves and start unloading.Im feeling good. So I thought I would have some fun at Their expense. I asked the guys not to pull the new water heater out of the truck until they inspect the old one to see if it could be repaired.They looked at each other like thats not how this works. Then Mike says sure. In their words they said thats probably the worst water heater they had ever seen and suggested they get the new one out of the truck.Im very impressed with Mike and Blake and the job they did. It was nothing short of perfect. Maybe the most impressive part was when they had me sign off on the job. I dont know of any other contractors that make customer service such a high priority.The bottom line is. Home Energy Experts made me feel good about hiring them. They did what they said they were going to do.

This is a challenging time to find service. I called 7 providers - Home Energy Experts were the only ones to respond promptly. The person on the phone walked me through the process, took information, and booked appointment for the next day. There was a delay on the day of service due to traffic - they called me to warn about the delay and to assure me that the technician is still coming. The technician was courteous, efficient, and professional. Gave us some options and solutions; explained all the risks and made sure we dont have false expectations. AC is working for now. We are very grateful and hoping that the problem is fixed. If not - we will be calling Home Energy Experts for a more serious project.

We have been using Home Energy Experts for several years for our fireplace and air conditioner service and maintenance. They are always professional and the service representative who comes to our house is always friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. The company even sends and email the day before the service to remind us and then calls us 1/2 hour before their representative arrives at the house. A couple of years ago, their representative came for routine maintenance, for the fireplace that was built with the house, and he found that the exhaust pipes had come apart from the roof. He basically saved our lives by uncovering this deadly problem. They replaced our fireplace and made sure that it was done correctly. We would certainly recommend Home Energy Experts!!!

Home Energy Experts installed a new water heater and brought it up to code, since the old water heater was 24 years old. The crew that was sent out to install the water heater was great. And it was also very easy to work with the office staff to get a quote and schedule a time for the installation.

Great service and problem solving support!Home Energy Experts installed a new water heater for me several months ago and I have been quite happy with it. I am currently remodeling my master bath which involved some plumbing changes. When my water heater started to act up (on a Friday, of course) I made an appointment for a diagnostic visit.Denise got me on the schedule for that afternoon and Brandon came at the promised time and inspected the water heater. He established that the water heater was functioning and indicated that the problem must be in the main line plumbing which was outside of the scope of services provided by HEE and suggested that I engage a plumber.Even though his job was really done at this point, Brian did some brainstorming with me based on the symptoms, and the most likely scenario we came up with was some cross-over between hot and cold lines, possibly due to a defective mixing valve. He made a recommendation for a plumber to contact and there was no charge for the visit as it was considered a warranty call.Taking this information back to the contractor enabled us to troubleshoot the problem and identify a rough-in valve that had not been plugged after the initial plumbing connections had been made. Once the plugs were in place, everything went back to normal.I was very happy with the level of service provided to me by Home Energy Experts and Brandons willingness to help me beyond his official responsibilities. His extra engagement ultimately helped to arrive at a quick resolution to the problem.

Brandon met with my husband Lee to go over our situation and what we want to do to upgrade our systems. Most of what we wanted to be done he was told your company will not do except remove and replace our existing natural gas water heater with a new, larger one. Brandon was very informative and professional and put together a detailed quote for our consideration. We will be looking at other options at this time but may end up hiring your company in the end.

So far Home Energy Experts has been the Gold Standard in knowledge, professional care, and work product. We have a 70 year-old home with layer upon layer of patched-in HVAC fixes from other installers which werenon borrowed time (one furnace was 30+ years old).We met with four companies during the interview and bid process. We had people pitch us on expensive overly complex systems. However Andrew at Home Energy Experts took the time to completely inspect the house, measure, ask insightful questions (from functional to aesthetic), and listen to our concerns. A system has been designed to accommodate all of our concerns and after my independent component price comparisons, I am reasonably happy with the price. (I always want a better deal!)I started this with so far because we are only on day 3. The demolition was expeditious and relatively clean. The crew is professional and polite. The job site is cleaned every day and communication has been proactive and timely. The workmanship (that I am able to observe at this point) is excellent. I will update this review when the job is complete and the system has been tested - however my expectations have thus far been exceeded.

Technician seemed to know his job and did it well. I was just surprised he didnt wear a mask or offer to wear shoe covers. The shoe covers arent that big a deal and I dont think were necessary. Most of the technicians in the past visits always put booties on and off even when I told them it was not necessary. With the current Covid situation, a mask would have been nice.

I use Home Energy Experts for all my appliance needs. They clearly explain any issues and answer all my questions in a very knowledgeable manner. I always feel very comfortable having them in my home. They might make suggestions but there is never any high pressure sales talk.

At Home Depot, they set me up for a water heater replacement. Was told Id get a call back within 48 hrs. They called me about 30 minutes later and she was able to schedule someone to come out the next day between 10:30 & 12:30. 10:00 this morning, they called to let me know that Nick was on his way. Nick was very friendly, informative and thorough. Unfortunately for us due to work schedules, the install isnt going to happen until Wednesday. So maybe Ill get to rate them in 5 days. But so far this company is great.UPDATE: Installers were here first thing as promised. It was an all day ordeal but these two young men were so friendly and smiled the whole time.

Home Energy Experts were contracted in spring 2018 to solve a problem for us with our low end track-home existing built in gas log see-through fireplace that was totally useless in its value for producing useable heat. We just did not use it over the past 16 years and we considered removing it altogether or moving. Randy, at Home Energy Experts presented us a new better brand/model that would fit into the space, also with see-through visibility between rooms and increased heat output. Their installers, Clinton and Ed came over to remove the old and install the new. They worked swiftly and carefully keeping the mess to a minimum. Now we have a super nice fireplace that we love and use every day. Glad we didnt sell the house and very satisfied with Home Energy Experts. We recommend them as a high quality, reliable dealer. Money well spent which changed the way we now enjoy our home. It was a good experience without any snags or problems by people who are pros in the true sense of the word. I wasnt getting any hot water in my home, so I was at Home Depot costing out a water heater, and asked if they could recommend a contractor for the install. They put me in direct contact with Home Energy Experts and they had someone come out to give me an estimate. They gave me an estimate of over $2,600.00 for the install, which was so much higher (over $1,000.00 more) than the other estimate I had from another company, which peaked my curiosity. The estimate wasnt itemized, so I requested an itemized quote. After examining their quote, I found they were charging me for 3 smoke alarms, a Co2 detector (which has nothing to do with the water heater and which I have in my home already. The young man who was doing the estimate never set foot in my home, he was only outside). They were also charging me for a water shut-off valve, Temperature/relief line, gas safety shut off (I checked with Home Depot and the water heater all comes with these items), plus many other items, they were charging me for. These items were listed as parts and not part of the installation charge, which was a flat rate. The installation cost was listed with all these other items listed under parts. I am a senior citizen and felt like I was going to be taken for a ride for big $$$$$$$. I have sent the estimate to Home Depot services and spoken to a manager in Customer care in the contractors department, so they would be aware of the price gouging. I would never use a company who would gouge and blatantly take advantage of a senior or anyone else for that matter. Installation cost was quoted as a flat rate of $850.00, permit fee of $115.00 and disposal fee for water heater was $75.00. I would never, ever recommend this company to anyone. They deserve ZERO stars.
