Christian is the best staff member on the property. 1 bedroom 1 bath decent layout. Living area had little outside light due to one small window. Over priced but probably more so of where the property is located. Noise was at first a problem but was immediately taken care after reported. Not much parking space. Fan of gas ovens so loved that. Close to a shopping center and community events like outdoor concerts, street markets, food truck gatherings.
When I first moved in here I was really excited and at first it seemed great. But after the pandemic I’ve seen so much go downhill. They are hard to work with they always lock the doors. There are a few people in there that I actually do like but the rest of them I’m not so sure about. Don’t even try to get maintenance done because it won’t happen. The pool is disgusting there is always hair in it and never clean and the bathroom is never clean. Constantly ant problems. I feel like it’s really hard to communicate with them and at the end of the day all they care about is money. The rent is so much money now. I continue to stay because it is a great community. I like A lot of people that live here. I just wish that people in the office were easier to work with and actually listen to our needs and concerns.
I have absolutely loved living here. My apartment was updated, extremely clean when I moved in, and maintenance was easy to reach if needed. The community is really nice and I really enjoyed the small amenities like the valet trash. If an opportunity hadnt arisen to help out a family member,I would happily stay here. If I ever need to rent again this will be the first place I look.
We moved into the complex about 9 months ago and I have absolutely loved living here! I dont have any intentions on moving anytime soon.We did a lot of looking around before we moved into Olympus and I feel like we are getting the most for our money here! Especially with the cost of living so high in the area, other complexs did not seem to have the amenities that Olympus offers. For example our Nest thermostat (seriously what other complexs have these standard?!). I have it connected to my Google home and can control my temp with the control of my voice. They are REALLY spacious. Plus the tall ceilings and huge windows make it feel that much bigger. They are so quiet too, I always hear noise in the breezeways but as soon as I enter my apartment I cant hear anything. I have never even heard my neighbors. But my favorite amenity is probably the boat rentals at the lake, me and the kids would walk down there during the summer and it was so nice! Its such a beautiful community. Also I have never lived in a complex with such a quick response for my maintenance requests. Ive had a few encounters with Jacob and he has been so helpful! He explained to me what the problem was, why I encountered it, and how to prevent it from happening again. I think he is a great addition to the Olympus team.
I have been living at Olympus for 5 months and I absolutely love it! Their apartments are so beautiful and modern and have really great amenities such as a pool, gym, an elegant game room, playground for kids, and a secure package room which is a must for me. I also love that it’s super close to local market stores and the mall. This property is always well maintained and maintenance is really great! Christian is always available when I have questions or need help. Even when it’s just him at the office and it’s busy, he always gets back to me. I really appreciate how much he cares to help me resolve any issues that I may have. Their management team is definitely a 5 star!
This apartment complex is great. The layouts are amazing. When we moved in we had new carpets and it was very clean. The amenities are awesome here. Daybreak also has amazing amenities too. Through the apartment complex we are able to rent paddle boards and kayaks at the lake here in Daybreak. Theres also a bunch of restaurants walking distance from the complex. The one maintenance issue we had was on Christmas Eve. We called emergency maintenance at 8PM because our water heater and heat were not working. Nate in the maintenance department left his Familys Christmas Eve dinner on the other side of town and came immediately to fix it.
We love living here. The staff is great! Every time we submit a service request they are always there the next day. It’s just a great community all together. I’d recommend to anyone!
We have been living here at Olympus Apartments at Daybreak for about 7 months while our home is being built. We have been very impressed with their efficient and kind office staff and maintenance personnel. Our apartment is very clean and we feel safe and secure living here. Daybreak is probably the best area in Salt Lake to be living right now. It is young and thriving and we are close to everything we need. We recommend these apartments in very high standing.
My fiance and I moved in a couple months ago, and we couldnt be happier! The staff and maintenance are always easy to contact and super helpful. Theyre very courteous to let tenants know ahead of time if they need to come into the units for maintenance work. All in all we are loving our stay here, being so close to the lake and the downtown area of Daybreak. Thank you!
So my little girl and I just went through a huge move at a very stressful time. Not only was it right before the holidays but it was right in the middle of a pandemic. 🤦Tamika made everything SO easy. Everything was done electronically which helped so much since I work crazy hours. She is so quick to respond to any and all questions Ive had and is professional and easy to work with.Everyone here is so nice and helpful. We even had a little visit from maintenance and he was so quick, professional and nice. Not to mention, he was so awesome with my 100 lb lab.... Who can be a little intimidating at times.Thank you to everyone at Olympus at Daybreak for helping make us comfy in our new place!! We are so happy to be here!! 🖤
The area Is really nice, you can walk down the street to a small man made like lake and some shops. Not to mention close to the daybreak station. But we just found out how much it is to break our lease if we renew and find a home to buy. We are a little upset and shocked at the price to break our lease if we find a home. We wouldn’t be able to afford a home first pay, and their cost of 2x the rent to break the lease. It’s ridiculous! I have never heard of a fee so big, and not everyone is making enough to do that!We don’t have a home lined up yet as we are trying to apply to look but we are feeling pressured to let them know now if we are renewing or not. Possibility we will renew cuz we’d need somewhere to live but the cost for the space and then to break is becoming discouraging. Not to mention it’s the cheapest we could find in the entire valley.
Tamika was the leasing agent that helped my sister and I find the perfect apartment. The guided tour was quick and super informative! The apartment is located in a safe neighborhood, offers awesome amenities, and close to major highways and freeways making my commute into downtown easy! Also Tamika was super helpful during the entire process, breaking down our costs in an easy to read spreadsheet. She was very transparent with what was included in rent and there were no hidden fees (unlike other places were checked out). Also Olympus is located by major shopping malls, movie theatres and the community is very family friendly! Super happy we moved in when we did! Also!!! the cost of living is SUPER affordable considering everything Olympus has to offer! Lower rent with more amenities when compared to other apartment complexes (24/7 and on call maintenance with nightly security checks!!) Love love love this place, theres so many places to relax, meditate and study!
I was transitioning between homes and stayed at Olympus while I did. I had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and highly available to help with questions. Tamika and Christian were great to work with. The apartment was really nice and well maintained and the location is great, right next to Soda Row. I often walked over to grab dinner or a drink. I was sad to leave when my lease was up.
I have just moved here from out of state and was having some issues with other communities responding to my inquiries. I was so impressed with Tamika. She was quick and prompt with answering all of my questions, returning phone calls and emails. She made the application process seamless. Thanks for all of your help!
Been living here for a few weeks so I wanted to share a few things I’ve liked so far.love that you can have your service animal, there’s so much to do within walking distance,Parking available at any time, garage option as well,The apartment itself it’s pretty spaciousAnd the most important part is the people that work at Olympus are very helpful and always willing to find a solution for you.Tamika has been my to go contact since day one and she’s amazing but also when she’s not there the gentleman is very helpful.Looking forward to stay here for a while :)
BED BUGS!!!!!!!!!! CARPET BEETLES!!!!!You will be blamed for their bug problems.RUNNNNN!!!!!!I would have never posted this publicly if you responded to my multiple emails, now that you have to answer to the public you responded. Those are your apartment floors so dont distance yourself from this review.Respond to my email and right your wrongs!! You cant overcharge your tenants and not give them ANY amenities. Adjust the rent for people during THIS PANDEMIC and stop acting like nothing is going on.
Love our experience here at Olympus at Daybreak. Management is great and always there to help when in need. We enjoy living here and feel safe. We recommend Olympus because this is a clean, safe and beautiful area. We enjoy the view, especially the lake and walk around there everyday. Olympus is the best!
Love living here! We love the area, the staff and atmosphere. The apartment is worth the price and more than enough parking. More storage place than our last apartment in Herriman, we don’t even use 1/3 of the cabinets in our kitchen & bathroom. The walk in closet is spacious and the balcony is large with plenty of room for furniture. Tamika has been wonderful. From before we moved in, the move in process and even now that we are here. Highly recommend!!
Tamika at Olympus at Daybreak was so nice and helpful! Even though I wasnt able to get approved at this time. The process was quick and easy. She went above and beyond and told me the steps I could make to be able to get approved in the future. I will definitely come back to this property.
This was my first time moving to an apartment and the whole process was very scary for me. I took 3 months doing research, looking at reviews and doing drive bys to check out the level of safety. I am so happy that I trusted my instincts and went with Olympus! Its been so great. Tameka and Christian are amazing and are always so friendly and willing to answer all my questions. So far, we are very happy with our new home.
Clubhouse Is closed at 6pm. So the amenities you get you can’t even use. Who’s going to play pool in the clubhouse before 6 when most people don’t get home from work till after 6?
I have lived in many places and was coming fromTX. Upon recommendation I decided to live at this property which I was very excited due to rent and space.Unfortunately I had someone break into my garage which I pay additional for because I needed that security and had random people coming and knocking on my door. I understand it could happen anywhere but this place is the least community that want to comfort you. After explaining I am not comfortable and not feeling secure in the complex they are still after their money rather than comforting. If you chose to live there make sure to have security cameras around.
Loved my experience with Olympus! We worked with Tamika and she was so helpful and answered all of our questions!! Because of the pandemic we didn’t feel comfortable going in person, but she took it upon herself to do a virtual tour with us! We loved it and couldn’t recommend Olympus more!
Absolutely love everything about these apartments. From the location to the layout it really is the perfect place to call home. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a safe area with all the perks of the city.
I am a supplier for this company and this property is top notch. The on-site team is excellent to work with and always welcomes us with a friendly smile. Keep up the great work!
My wife and I recently moved to Olympus at Daybreak and have thoroughly enjoyed it so far. In the office Tamika has been essential to our move in process. She has done an exceptional job at making our transition simple and pleasant and for that we thank her.
This place is all around great. My family has plenty of room in our apartment with a huge balcony that I love. The area feels safe and the lake is awesome. Glad I live here
My family and I have been at Olympus for 1.5 years. I am a Roseman student. This has been one of the best places we have lived. The daybreak community is filled with family activity and beauty. To make things better, Olympus has competitive prices for what they offer. I pay cheaper rent than most of my classmates and have the best view in town. Christian was the one we credit for this! He has been really helpful throughout our time here and was the one who helped us pick the right spot. I am also extremely grateful for the service the maintenance team provides. They are quick, kind and will get the job done right. Olympus is a great place to live with a support and amazing staff. I highly recommend (especially if your a Roseman student with a family).
We lived at Olympus at Daybreak for almost 2 years. The staff and maintenance people were very nice and prompt to fix any issues we had. The floor plan was very spacious more like a condo then an apartment.
I actually lived here before the name was changed and loved it. Never had issues and loved the area. I recently went in to look at an available apartment and loved the upgrades. Tamika was amazing and knowledgeable with pricing.
Always been there to help in any and every situation. Very quick response to all issues that may need maintenance or repair. Also very quick to reapond and help with personal situations that may arises. I would definitely recommend Olympus at Daybreak to anyone and everyone!!! Thank you for all you do and have done for me...
I put in a few service requests and Nate came the same day and completed them all perfectly. Great service and very friendly.
Im going to start saying how much I love living here. The community is amazing, the building is clean, quiet and spacious as well as the apartment, lots of parking spots, I feel safe and the staff is always available to help me with anything I need (shout out to Tamika), there are so many restaurants at a walking distance and the amenities are great (clean hot tub and pool, equipped gym, dog park, mail package room).
Overall it was a good experience. The only reason it didnt get 5 stars is the appliances are old, and the interiors feel old, even the apartments that have been refurbished. I would consider living at Olympus again.
We had such an awesome experience here. the staff was friendly and had answers to all of our questions. beautiful area and units. definitely would recommend.
I love how spacious these apartments are! Really great/safe neighborhood. And they are super easy to work with.
Ive been here almost 2 years now and absolutely love it, the community has everything I need within a walk or short drive/bike. Before I moved in I was a little anxious seeing the reviews and star rating. People usually only do reviews when they dont get what they want or just negative in their everyday life. Its rare if someone takes time out of their day to spread positive news. Hoping my review persuades the people that are on the fence, this place is filled with good people and trust me its also a great community.
Love the floor plans and how spacious they are! Also you can’t beat the location. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for an affordable place to stay in Daybreak!
I am honestly shocked that Olympus at Daybreak has 2.7 stars on google! We have lived in the apartment complex for a year and a half now and absolutely love the community! The grounds are always taken care of (mowing, planting flowers, new mulch etc.), it is quiet, front desk staff is amazing, and the property and community is simply stunning! The flowers everywhere in the spring and summer bring me so much joy!! We have become more active than ever before since we can paddleboard/kayak in the lake, and run/ride our bikes all throughout the community. Not to mention all the fun activities that are planned throughout the year in Daybreak! I would recommend everyone to live here. You will not be disappointed!
I love these apartments! They’re Located in a nice area and I love how spacious their layouts are! 🙌🏾❤️
Tamika has been amazing to work with answering all of our questions and providing us with options for our short term lease. It has been a pleasant experience so far.
Easily the best management I’ve been with.I worked closely with Tamika and she was so professional and helpful through our process.
The houses in daybreak are expensive. Being able to experience this area with Olympus before investing in a home is awesome! Great prices.
Previous payment issues have been fixed/explained. We recommend these apartments for the tall ceilings and big floor plans, they use the space really well. Trash service is still awesome and Jason on the yard crew it still a great employee to have.
I would give it zero stars if I could because at every step of the way they tried to sneak false charges on the bill. They were slow to send out maintenance until I threatened to do the work myself and would charge premium price for my work. They refused to relinquish mail to us when we left truthfully the worst property I have ever rented from.
Beautiful neighborhood and spacious lay out! They also have the most friendly staff you’ll ever encounter.
This is a lovely, clean, and safe place to be! Christian was very professional and helpful while answering my questions and the rest staff was very kind and understanding.
The apartments were very nice and spacious, and questions and concerns I had Christian was there to help me out.
These were too far from where I work but I was considering them. The 3 bed balcony is beautiful. Staff answered all my questions.
5 stars to the management here! Christian is super friendly and helps me out with any issues that I have here at the property. If you have any problems he’s the man to go to!
Visited family there. Public areas are very well kept. Kudos to the maintenence department or grounds crew.
Christian was very helpful he answered all the questions I had about the property.
Tamika was great at helping us with everything. Apartments were nice and bright.
My experience with Olympus has been great so far. The staff is amazing and always on point.
My family loves it up here and the kids love the surrounding area as well. Great and helpful staff.
The property is clean and office management is very friendly and timely in responding to resident needs
I love the area! It’s own little downtown and the layout is nice!
Christian Garcia was very helpful in helping me pay rent online.
Oh my where do I begin?! Olympus at daybreak has been thee best apartment complex to work with! While I was still active duty military and living across the country they made the paperwork process so easy and simple! They also sent my wife and I amazing pictures to show us what we were moving into! I also greatly appreciate how Olympus doesn’t hit you with hidden fees like my last apartment complex did! (Over $800 dollars worth). Upon arrival and walking though my new apartment I knew I made an amazing choice. From the spacious rooms to the outstanding walk in closets it was a total upgrade from my last apartments but way less expensive! The staff are always so helpful and are willing to talk with you to make sure your questions are answered and you are comfortable with your lease. The amenities here are some of the best I ever seen! From they amazing swimming pool and hot tub, to the fantastic computer room (which I use quite frequently). They also have a game room with a phenomenal pool table if anyone wants to play. Over all Olympus has been absolutely fantastic and I plan on staying here for a long time!
The maintenance crew is usually on top of things whenever something needs fixing. Ceasar is awesome
My roommates and I love living here at the Olympus Apartments. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. The community is extremely dog friendly. Its always super clean in the area and walking around. There are a few local Establishments that are walking distance and that makes it super Convenient.
My roommates and I have lived at Olympus at Daybreak for 1 year already renewed our lease to stay another year. The property is clean and quiet. There is plenty of room for my dog to play and lots of dog poop stations to pick up after him! Very happy with out decision to stay.
I had previously left negative reviews about this place, but the staff are just fine now. They really do accommodate and communicate well. Their phone system is down a lot, but I cant fault them for that.Other tenants are hit or miss, though. We have a lot of destructive people living here making it worse for everyone. People just make messes and break stuff like theyre animals and its a shame.
Went to check out their model, wasnt really for me. When I was leaving, I got out to my car and my battery was dead. Jacob (the maintenance guy) was nice enough to give me a jump. So though its not for me, 5 stars for the employees.
Beautiful apartments! Love the area.
Nice neighborhood & very spacious. Looove it
The maintenance team is really fast and efficient.
Christian in the office is so helpful and accommodating! He responded to my emails in a timely manner and quickly helped me with the problem I needed help with. Even went above and beyond with a refund. Thank you!!
I would give zero if I could. I moved in under different management. And paying about $1500 a month for a two bedroom youd think Id be treated with just a tad of decent customer service. I recently moved out at the beginning of this year. I spoke to the then assistant manager about giving my notice. I received my final bill for the time I was going to be there and they later wanted to charge me $445 more because they forgot to add on extra charges for month to month that they missed. Instead of honor my bill I showed them they send, they want me to pay for their mistake. I spoke to three different people who didnt understand what had happened, nonetheless just pay the bill. Or Ill take off the late fee for the charge we sent after we forgot to overcharge you. Heidi I think is the fourth person I spoke to just stopped responding to my emails altogether. Apparently this isnt the first time they were unclear about lease renewal and charges. Sounds like a scam. Like we dont know you agents get a percentage of obtaining charges even if it means overcharging. Im left having to contact corporate due to the incompetent people they now have in that office. It used to be a great office. Trust you guys wouldve loved crossing at daybreak. Shouldve seen it coming when all of the management was getting swapped out. So glad I didnt renew. Its a mess.
Love the neighborhood and how open and spacious the floorplans are.
My boyfriend and i have lived in these apartments for over a year and a half. at first we were very happy, even had a few different friends move in as well. once covid struck and we started working less and never once did we ask for assistance or rent freeze as we understand the importance of renting our space, etc. we were out of town camping with family this past week and i guess they were gonna renovate the parking lot – which really doesn’t need renovating so i’m not sure why they’re spending the money to do that – long story short we never saw the notice and our cars were towed after a half fast attempt to only call me (even though there’s two names on the lease) i called the manager to express my concerns that no one called my boyfriend and that we were out of town and didn’t see the notice, after trying to explain to the property manager (who has worked there for under a year) why we didn’t see the notice and why we couldn’t pay the fee especially when no one called my boyfriend about his car, she wasn’t listening and even hung up on me. i called her back and started getting frustrated that my concerns weren’t being heard and (i’ll admit) i got very upset and told her i don’t wanna be the person who sounds crazy like they’re gonna burn something down – but that i needed help and needed to be heard, in which her response was to THREATEN TO EVICT US. i’ve lived in multiple different complexes and never once have i been treated and talked down to so disrespectfully. this complex is still charging full rent + late fees during a global pandemic then choosing to ON TOP of that tow people’s cars and charge them when the lot doesn’t even need renovating. i’m currently waiting on a call from the regional manager to hopefully be heard and be able to express my concerns but just be warned – for as long as the manager is Jillian, you will not be heard or listened to. you will be talked down to and belittled for having money concerns during a global pandemic. you will feel disrespected and will have your home threatened.
I have loved living at this place. I have been in multiple apartment complexes and none come close to this! The staff is incredible! I walked into the clubhouse when they were closing the doors for the day, and she stepped back inside to help me with my needs. When needed, maintenance will respond in a very timely matter. They are always improving the community and updating apartments. When we come across something we find difficult, they are very quick to solve the problem and leave us worry free. There are no surprises, no hidden fees and all questions are answered in a very clear direct way.The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious, with high ceilings. There has never been an issue with parking. It is a very open community, always clean, close to stores, shopping, gas stations, and hospital. I would recommend it to anyone!!
Quite simply, if you cant follow rules, look elsewhere. I love living here because rules and regulations are enforced. When we have a loud neighbor and complain, it ceases to happen immediately because they actually take care of things. This complex is a part of the community, so you get free amenities everywhere, like Kayaking on the lake (for free!). Staff is helpful and caring to us.The layouts of the apartments are the best I have seen, really utilizing every square inch of space wisely. It is very quiet and peaceful out here.Dont hesitate to sign up. Its amazing.
We are very pleased with the Olympus at Daybreak community. The staff is friendly and always helpful. The valet trash service is awesome. The apartment complex is very cleanly as well. And the location is perfect for us. Overall we have no complaints and we plan on staying for many years.
Beautiful property and good prices for the area.
Living at the crossings has been a great experience. Ive loved living here. The staff are actually very nice and helpful. If you have any questions or concerns they are willing to help and discuss them with you. The apartments are clean and roomy. The amenities are great as well. It really feels like home here.
Very nice neighborhood and spacious layout.
Do not spend the money to live in these apartments, they are overpriced for what you actually get. The quality of this complex is awful!Honestly the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. I asked for 2 weeks to get some issues fixed in my apartment after first moving in. There was also an error on their end and they scheduled our move in for the day the apartment was getting cleaned. So they wouldn’t allow us to pick up keys until 3 in the afternoon and we had to move in with wet carpet.Additionally during the short time I lived there (short lease while waiting for home to be built), the grounds were dirty and messy, the residents didn’t clean up after themselves and they didn’t have any maintenance staff keeping the grounds picked up. Then, when maintenance would do work around the grounds they’d leave their work unfinished (multiple times caution tape was left up longer than a week for paint to dry - one time it was 3 weeks). The pool was also closed multiple times by the health department, which totally sucks during the summer. The air conditioner didn’t work right and would heat the apartment when it was turned on “cool”. And, after experience with getting maintenance scheduled, it was easier to deal with the issue. Also, when we moved in, all of the sinks and tubs were clogged with previous tenants hair, we had to clean that out ourselves. Not to mention the carpets are worn and bunchy, and our apartment wasn’t even painted after the previous tenant, so we had holes all over the walls that they tried to charge us with when we moved out.
This place is horrible. When we moved in, the place looked like it was painted by a child. White from the base board overlapping the brown on the walls. White paint on the edge of carpet everywhere. Corners of the carpet was missing. Hallways and stairs are always dirty with mud. It’s almost like no one cleans this property. Been here for over a year now and never seen anyone clean the outside. For the price you pay here you expect it to be clean. They closed down the leasing office and the gym For a few months saying they are upgrading everything. Well I went to the gym not long after they open and did not see any upgrades. They same old stuff nothing changed. And a few treadmills had out of order on it. Gym is very tiny. Can only hold 10-12 people that’s all. Also this place have no parking after 7pm. So don’t leave your apartment once your home or you will park at other buildings or on the main road and walk a mile to your apartment building. I had complained about the parking here twice and they said let us take your number and we will call you in a few days. Went back 2 weeks later and ask what’s going on because I can’t find parking and the answer I got was oh yeah we are still looking into it and I will call you in the next few days I promise I didn’t forget about you it’s noted on my computer the lady at the office said. She looks like the property manager. All I got from her were lies after lies. Now today I get an email saying we have parking garages for rent. Really are you kidding me. Why would you want to rent garages when you have a serious parking problem. Gtf outta here with that. Can’t wait to move out of here. My experience was great till these new people took over. The girl that works at the front desk and lives here on property has always been helpful. She is the only good employee they have. Her I like the rest they need to get rid of. I don’t recommend anyone to live here till they fix the parking problems. They have too many units but not enough parking spaces.
I dont normally write reviews, but I wanted to acknowledge the FANTASTIC staff here. My roommates and I havent moved in yet, and we were having some issues moving and getting in, and they have been so awesome to work with. I love the staff, and feel comfortable talking to them, and asking them questions. I work in customer service, and I think theyre at a high standard. Thanks a million!
It’s about 4 in the morning and I’m currently burning up and over heating in my 81 degree apartment. We have been trying to contact them and submit requests for help for the past 24 hours and haven’t gotten a single soul to help us. Since we have moved in (a month ago) we have had a truckload of issues.1. They seemed to forget we were coming even though we had signed up about 2 months in advance and they forgot to ask us to call and set up our gas and electric bills. So the first few days we went without hot water and things we needed2. We immediately had a broken non working washer and dryer that needed fixing and also a broken dishwasher. It was an extreme chore to ask them to come fix them3. Whoever tried cleaning it before we came failed. Our sink in our bathroom won’t drain and is clogged. We vacuumed the floors a day after moving in and we got more hair and gunk than should ever be in one vacuum.4. It reeks of cat pee and seems there’s never been an effort to get it out5. We now have been begging to fix our AC right at the worst time of summer and haven’t gotten a word about helping usI’ve never been one to write a bad review. Not once in my life. I’ve worked lots of customer service in my life and have usually had empathy for businesses. But this whole experience has been a joke and I’ve never lived somewhere that has made me so miserable so quickly. I don’t recommend this place and we certainly will be checking reviews deeply for the next time we move somewhere.I’ve always wanted to live in Daybreak and I was so excited to finally do it. It’s too bad it turned out this way for us
I wish we had not rented here. And glad to be gone. Be fully aware that the staff will present amenities and services in the best light, claiming these are luxurious apartments. I had components of the bathroom break after a few weeks, and several repairs later, the issues still were not resolved. There is carpet everywhere and no maintenance to the hallways, stairwells or access areas...so your carpet will get nasty and they will have you foot the bill to replace it. Dont even bother thinking that they have your interest in mind or that your complaints will be considered...its all about the bottom line for them and they will stick you will tremendous move-out expenses. Pet owners - beware: no one picks up dog poop, the pet stations are overflowing half the time and bags are not available in half the stations. Dont believe anything the staff tells you...while they were very nice to us, Ive had so many people tell me how rude they were treated. Clubhouse amenities close at 10pm, so dont expect to enjoy the hot tub or pool late night. We have friends in the valley renting much better places, with less fees and much more space. Crossings is really just a pretty face with absolutely no real substance behind it. I give it 2 stars because I didnt hate it, but thoroughly disliked it.
I have been calling consistently for 3 weeks now and nobody answers the phone.. ever! This is beyond frustrating!! If you go to the office you are lucky if someone will help you either.
While looking for apartments, Deanna was absolutely wonderful and incredibly helpful. I didn’t end up choosing this complex, but I’m grateful for the knowledge and insight she shared with me. I never felt pressured, and she was very transparent about all additional fees and such that came with renting at this complex, which is hard to find.
Hi, my name is Susan, and I am writing on behalf of my sweet 83 year old mother, Elvira, who has lived at Crossings since it first opened. She has asked me to let everyone know, that if you are thinking about renting there, that it has been such a wonderful place to live. The management and workers are always so kind to her, they all go the extra mile, and do so with a smile. If she has a light out, or anything at all, she calls and they respond very quickly! They come in with a hello and she is never made to feel nervous about anything. She also feels very safe living there, and her neighbors all around her are always smiling and saying hi when they see her out on her porch. Thank you, Crossing, for taking such good care of the facilities and apartments, and doing so with such graciousness. It has made my moms life so much more enjoyable, and I never worry about where she lives. Honestly, she raves about the place! Thanks again, a definite 5 star rating!!!
I’ve been really holding myself back from leaving a bad review, but to completely honest I have never seen an apartment complex have so many issues without any compensation besides “apologizing”.The leasing office somehow forgot to tell my husband and I that we needed to set up our gas, electric, and WiFi by ourselves until the day before we moved in (which we wouldn’t have known if we didn’t stop by to pay our rent early), even though they knew we were moving in for two months. So we ended up living in our apartment without access to our washing machine, dryer, stove, shower, dishwasher, and sink (water was too icy cold to use) for 3 1/2 days. (We just came back from our honeymoon and had no clean clothes or dishes)Once everything got turned on, we noticed more issues:1. Dishwasher (when loaded) cake half way out of the wall2 washer and dryer were both completely disconnected so when we went to wash our clothes water flooded the ground, revealing all the CAT HAIR and DUST left over from the last residences.3.the bathroom sink is clogged, with what I can only imagine to be the last residences hair, and the shower head is broken4. Our mail was stolen from a “secure” area in the leasing office, or whatever is claims to be. It was a wedding gift from my parents, now I don’t even want to send any mail here.5. When I vacuumed for the first time (2 days after moving in) the vacuum was absolutely full of old hunk and cat hair.6. Our apartment reeks of cat piss (they claimed a cleaning lady came but I really don’t think one did)7. It took them forever to get us our amenity keys and daybreak card, even though I went down to the leasing office 5 times for them.8. And finally, the straw that broke the camels back, our AC stopped working. On the hottest day of the year so far. We tried contacting the leasing office the very next morning. We called several times and left many messages. We tried contacting maintenance and nothing. Neither my husband or I could sleep and it’s over 90 degrees in our apartment.Everything that’s gone wrong is completely unacceptable, at first we had a lot of compassion because our original leasing agent went into labor early and the leasing office said they were underwater because of it. But after living here one month I’m not sure they can claim all of this on “being underwater”, it’s called bad customer service and a lack of care for the residences that keep them in business.
Signed a 13 month lease because online I was told it would be “cheaper” nope its $1600 for a tiny two bedroom apartment the carpets are growce looks like they weren’t even cleaned when doing the lease we were constantly told different pricing nobody ever seems to know what exactly is going on! I will never recommend them to anybody they need to get it together I’m sure I’ll be needing to contact my attorney soon their have been to many lies and mix ups about our lease agreement It’s the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had renting!
My sister and I moved into this apartment as our first place in August, and we are so pleased! I am an extremely cautious person and was a little bit weary upon reading the original reviews. I spent a very long time deciding which apartment to pick, and eventually narrowed it down and decided to begin talking to Olympus. I am so glad I stumbled upon this place. The office staff was very friendly and helpful, guiding us through the process bit by bit and being very accommodating to our schedule. I read a lot of negative reviews about them, but they have been nothing but great. The apartment itself is spacious, well taken care of and fits my needs. I think it is a fair price as well for rent, and I appreciate the smart technology implemented in the apartments. I read a lot of complaints online about maintenance however maintenance has been very quick and responsive. Overall we are very pleased and are happy with our experience here. If you are nervous about the bad reviews, most of which seems to be from past management. Current new management has shown nothing but being excited to move forward and improve on this apartment complex. I definitely recommend you come down and look. Perfect first apartment.
I moved in under old management... the transition was horrible at first, but now that things have settled down it is much better. We just renewed our lease! People say they are small... they are NOT!!! 1200sq ft for 2x2 Apt is huge. I think some people just havent lived in apartments. Maintenance is probably my FAVORITE thing about this place. They are also fast and if they do make a mistake (because we are humans) they fix it asap.I have had my ups and downs with new staff, but over all it has been positive. They do what they need to for the safety and comfort of the residents. The one thing that I HATE is their awful phone system. It is incredibly difficult to get ahold of them because the new system just hangs up on you over and over. Also, the chat on the website is useless. If they can fix the phones and maybe get cameras so we know who keeps leaving dog poop all over the grass outside, then this would be 10 star living. I love my home here and it is an AMAZING price for this area.
This amazing community at the Crossing is my home, I call it home and always will. It has been a pleasure for me to get to know each and every one of the staff members and all of those who maintain this place I call my home. I dont appreciate it much when individuals use the review system to tear others down, especially when they dont have much proof to base it on. The prices are competitive, great amenities, the location and the feel of being in Daybreak is what makes it complete. Ive lived here for more than a year, seen the staff deal with crazy situations, and they have never lost sight of making this an amazing community. There have been celebrations, food trucks, gatherings of many kinds, all meant to make this a comfortable place to live. We must all take the time to help make the world around us an enjoyable place and if we do this there would be no need for reviews and we would all just get along.
DO NOT RENT. I wish i had listened to the reviews. If i Could give 0 i would. After talking with other residents they feel the same! The apartments are not worth the $ they are not modern or new feeling at all. Walls are THIN. Deposits are non refundable. Paid $1241 none refundable.. Carpet was gross when i moved in and patio had chalk all over it. They claimed both would be fixed. Apartment is literally falling apart and is super cheap. Maintenance sucks expect them to take two weeks or to just barge in. They do not answer phones or put payments in on time and when they loose it they charge a door fee and late fee. Worst service. Any nice review must be a staff members family who lives here. Breaking my lease early.
Great layout! 👍🏽
I love to live here. I have been in my apartment for a little over a year and I dont plan to move anytime soon. The pool and the gym are nice and well maintained. The movie theater is a blast. Each staff member is friendly and very willing to help. The little shops in walking distance arent to bad either. all around great place to live.
Upon first moving into the apartment it was completely disgusting; mold, mildew, pet hair, dirt, etc on everything. Cleaning the windows our towels were literally black with filth. They assured us that professional cleaners made the apartment ready and checked it themselves before giving us the keys. Needless to say we spent a week cleaning after our work schedules to get it proper for living in. They said because of the mess up they will not charge us a cleaning fee on move out, so well see about that.Next, after about a month of living here our oven stopped working so we had to call their maintenance staff to come asses the issue. When he arrived he spent right about 4 hours looking at the rear of it, very obviously confused. He then gave up and said he would ask his supervisor about it and get back to us. They couldnt figure out the problem and said they will just get us a new one, great! But when they came to install it, the original maintenance guy arrived to install it while I was at work and my wife was home. Get a call from my wife, who is pregnant at this time, that she can smell a faint odor of gas after the installation. The maintenance staff assures that it must be left over from disconnecting the lines. After I get home from work the entire apartment wreaked heavily of gas and I rushed to open the windows and called to emergency line to get back out here. The original maintenance guy was on call and had to redo the line what seemed to be 3-4 times before his meter would finally stop going off. Moral of this story is that their maintenance staff seems to be filled with backyard handy men that have no ability to do this sort of work.Fast forward to our final month here and we receive a letter saying our pre move out inspection is scheduled while we are still living here. Whatever, we assume they will change it as we are moving into our new place a couple days later and figure they would be willing to compromise and shift their schedule. Upon calling them they say that they have every right to come in whenever they want, and that they will not change because ordering carpet can take a couple of week and they want to make sure that is does not need to be replaced. After explaining all the problems weve had since moving here we said they can move it out a few days to compromise, he basically said Sorry, we are coming that day and we have the right to do so. The staff here is god awful and we were hopeful that the company that bought them out would fire them all, but no, its the same company with a new face is all. The manager is condescending and is to blame for the incompetence of the staff, and very poor customer service skills. The new ownership should consider firing him if they hope to make anything of this place. As and ending note, we took pictures of all the disgusting mess they left us upon moving in if they try to say things were not like this prior. The other reviewers say they try to nickel and dime move out charges. Consider moving elsewhere, as you will get better quality outside of this community and for a better price too!
I actually had a decent stay at Daybreak. The staff was helpful upfront, and i liked the amenities. That being said it is over priced, and they will leave you with a bad taste in your mouth when you leave or have to extend without signing a new lease. The move out fees are very high, regardless of the condition you in leave it in. If you have go month to month for a short time, prepare to get nailed with a big fee. If i had to do it again, i would find another place. There are better and cheaper places in this area.
Stay far away! Worst place to rent!!!! Awful management. Do not be fooled by the nice layout, garages, or amenities. Or anything! Nothing is worth living here. I’m moving out after only a couple months. The company is interested only in itself. The management is crazy and lawsuit happy. I read the reviews, but thought, I’ll be fine, I’m a great renter, no. I just wanted a quiet, nice place to rent. It’s been a migraine from day 1. It’s so awful I can’t even begin to explain. Think of every worse case scenario, times that by 100, now add in management that is eviction happy, fee happy, demeaning to you and sarcastic. Now add in having your whole family treated like garbage, compiled by discrimination and unlawful conduct. I have never been treated more poorly and lost so much time, energy and sleep. Not to mention money. Tell everyone you know, don’t let anyone you love, or even hate live here.
Wonderful place to live, they have nice appliances and layouts. Most of the utilities are inexpensive. The staff is nice and attentive during the day and they usually get problems fixed fast. But, I had my pilot light go out half an hour after they closed and it would not relight, so we called the after hours maintenance and left a message. They didnt get back to us until ten-thirty in the morning.
These apartments are very nice and very friendly. the leasing office is awesome and has helped us out in many ways. I have enjoyed my experience here.
I am so impressed with this apartment complex. I am not one to write many reviews, however I feel Olympus at Daybreak deserves it! The office staff is always pleasant and attentive. Maintenance always shows up on their given issued date and resolves the problem. The rooms are luxurious and fairly priced. You are a few steps away from Soda Row and the Trax station. If I could buy this apartment, I would!
I was hesitant to move into these apartments because of all of the bad reviews I read, but I after talking to some friends of mine that lived here, I was reassured. My roommate and I moved here in March and have no complaints. The apartment itself is cute and we love the staff. I would recommend living here!
