They came out the same day and installed a new thermostat. They completed the job in less than 90 minutes and the price was very competitive. Will definitely use again!

Got the best price of 6 quotes - service man showed up on time, installed both the AC and Furnace in a very workmanlike manner and was finished about 2 PM - about 7 hours, or a little less. Very pleased with the finished products.

We needed to replace our furnace and AC unit. We looked at four different companies and I was impressed with each one. But Elgin Sheet Metal and Pat stood out to me. I think it was his matter-of-fact, friendly nature and the reasonable price that won me over. They werent the cheapest but were way less than the most expensive. They installed the new units quickly and seamlessly. Their service was outstanding and in fact, I referring them to my son-in-law and he had them install a new furnace as well. You cant go wrong with these guys. Professional, reasonably priced, friendly and honest.

My furnace wasn’t staying on kept shutting off. Had them come out. I thought the issue was fixed and it wasn’t. Called them again, on a Saturday wouldn’t stand by the work they did they were going to charge me an emergency fee. They didn’t know what it would be. I already paid $145 for the initial visit which was to just remove a dirty filter. Do not use this company

I call for an estimate because our furnace was coming up to 24 years old and didnt want it to break down this winter. A gentleman showed up right on time and began to work up an estimate. In conversing with the person, I find out its the owner of the company, when does that ever happen. Two weeks later Arron showed up to replace our system, within a few hours later he had the new air conditioning. He cleaned up and said he would be back tomorrow. The next day he had the whole system up and running. Arron also assisted with the new programmable thermostat.Then two days later we had all of our paperwork in the mail with great instructions for submitting the paperwork for our rebates.I would definitely use them again they were efficient, and got the work done on time.

I had them come out to fix my ac 4 times and never fixed. I went to another competent company that fixed it the first time. All this place cares about is the money you pay them and not the quality of service they should give. I would 100% NOT recommend using this incompetent place. There are so many more better choices out there.

Pat was very thorough explaining to me so I could understand my furnace issues and communicating to me that it was not necessary to have the gas turned off to the furnace as recommended by a previous contractor. The tech who came and fulfilled the furnace work was professional and kind enough to explain in further detail any questions I had. I finally feel like I have someone to rely on for honest good work.

I guess unless your a regular customer they not interested in even returning your call. Avoid if possible. Horrible customer service.

ESM has serviced our home furnace and a.c. for nearly 20 years, and have provided reliable, quality service. They installed a new Carrier furnace that required extensive repairs last winter after 8 years of service, at a substantial cost to us. ESM also installed a new furnace for us at another property in about year 2008, on short notice, and has serviced it since with no further costs beyond the routine service calls. They have been prompt, professional and knowledgeable in servicing our heating and a.c. needs.
