Do not rent from here!The attendant became easily frustrated with the computer system. There were at least 6 customers waiting in line for their rental. The attendant walked away for about 10 minutes and was complaining about his job as he did so. More customers arrived while he was gone. An altercation happened between two customers while in line and the police showed up to assess the situation. One customer was asked to vacate the premises.It took 57 minutes for me to drive away with the vehicle that I had rented online a few months before. I would not recommend this location. Go to western Ave location in SB. it is worth the drive.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!Completely incompetent. I experienced no sense of urgency, common decency, respect for Covid RULES, the list could go on.AGAIN, I WARNED YOU, DO NOT RENT FROM HERE.Evidently, they don’t do on-line check in, so don’t waste your time with that. I made that mistake yesterday, showed up at 9am, followed instructions from email/text, only to be told I had to wait to speak to a representative. (Store opened at 10am)So at 10am, I walked up to a little shack type building, only to be snapped at. I was told that I had to wait in line. The line was 6 cars deep and going nowhere quickly. I tried to explain that I was thinking I could be in and out and was having trouble with my on line reservation. The guy working in the shack said their location doesn’t do on-line pick up and that I should get in line and stop holding it up, wasting his time. (Wow. I had to check myself at this point. I wanted to snap)So I wait. Almost an hour. Watching shack man’s co-worker, man who moves the trucks around, continually smoke in and around every truck. Gross!! AND MIND YOU, NO ONE HAS A MASK ON.I get up to the shack’s window and shackman is apologetic about my wait but goes on to blabber about nothing. He said my on-line reservation was denied because the picture of my driver’s license didn’t upload correctly. “Okay, fine” was my reply, just wanting to get a truck and be on way 2 hours late to move.So after a few minutes, I was told that I had an “eElert” which was the ACTUAL reason I wasn’t able to get the truck from the get go. I asked shackman what an eELert was as I don’t speak Uhaul lingo and he told me to call an 800 number, take care of an outstanding balance and pull around and get back in line.Haha. Not happening I told him. I went with plan B and begged family and friends with trucks and muscles to donate a few hours of their time.LONG STORY Short, I called today to clear up any balance UHaul thought I owed them and they said my account was zero. Had no idea why I had a problem.COMPETE WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY AND BREATHE AND BRAIN POWER.

Worst experience Ive ever had with a business in my entire life. Im convinced any review over one star must be fake for this place. 1st time I rented a vehicle and set my reservation and took them over 2 hours to get me in my vehicle. Which when I finally got into the vehicle the mileage and gas were wrong. Ive never worked with such an incompetent manager in my entire life. I had to set up another u-haul rental there recently. As they were the only ones showing a 20 ft truck, I set up the reservation online and never received a call like it said I would. When I called the manager could not find my name or my reservation and was very rude to me. I had to hang up call back with my reservation confirmation number. Which I did only to find out he still would say I had no reservation. If its the last thing I do I will never use them again. Id rather carry every item I own to my new house one at a time then have to have a phone conversation with that person again. If you think any of this seems rude I dare you to deal with these people. Theres a lot of details I left out about how incompetent they were. Ive never left a review for almost anything in my life this is the only thing thats ever pushed me to the point of wanting to warn other people. Please do yourself a favor and use absolutely any other u-haul rental service.

They do not answer their phone. No emailed receipts. Bad neighborhood, dumpy place. Confused people working there.Up to no good. Dont go here! You were warned.

The person running this shop is very slow. He has trouble with technology and does not know who is doing what. It took me 45 minutes to get a dolly and some furniture pads.

The owner was very helpful. I rented a truck and trailer. I explained the parking issues at my apartment. He was flexible on picking up the trailer the next day. I called them back and got the truck and trailer plate numbers to pay the missed tolls. It would taken forever to get to uhaul customer service representative and get the same information.

I wish I could give this dump negative stars! The worst U-Haul experience of my life. Nick is by far the rudest,most incompetent business man Ive ever dealt with. He scammed money off my wifes credit card AFTER our bill was done and settled!!! Corporate office was no help!!! Go to Penske or Budget!!!

I rented a tow dolly from them and I had to back my truck between and box truck and a trailer and there was barely any room for my to turn my truck at all and the tow dolly was slated over to far so it was bawd to hit the trailer and the guy in the office was gettin frustrated with me when I didn’t listen to his directions because I was clearly gonna either hit the box truck on hit the trailer and I asked him to either my the truck or the trailer and he replied back (no to much time) and we started arguing. Then he cancels my contract and I told him I better get my money back, he agreed to give back my money and I waited for a payment that I never got. Take ur business elsewhere don’t go to these people there shady and are just looking to get ur moneyDONT RENT FROM HERE

This is the most unorganized and dysfunctional Uhaul operation I have ever visited. The location states they open at 9 AM. Upon arrival there were no employees available and the building was locked. Employees showed up 15 mins late. Once they finally got around to getting to me, it took them forever to get me out the door. I pre-registered and paid for everything before even coming to the facility and I was still there for 1.5 hours... I will never come back to this business.

Friendly and helpful staff. They were flexible with a change in our time of arrival, and answered all the questions we had when picking up the uhaul.

Truly terrible. I reserved a 10 foot truck only to find out on Saturday after a 45 minute wait that the owner gave it to another person because their reservation was longer. At least Uhaul guarantees you a truck if you reserve it or theyll give you $50, so I guess that made it a little better.

VERY SHADY ESTABLISHMENT. Came in the building and it was dark and dirty. There was a gentleman behind desk with the receptionist. The gentleman had another worker on the phone and was yelling at him. He did not end his conversation even though a customer had just walked in. They were friendly to me and quick at getting paperwork together for me to rent the pickup truck uHaul for the day. They estimated how many miles I would use and held the deposit on my checking account until I brought the truck back. I asked Nick Yassine what would happen if there was a difference in the miles used. He told me that the system was error proof and would adjust based on the reading when i brought the truck back and would be reimbursed for any miles not used or if there was extra fuel. I verified that fuel and miles were what the guy told me when I left and they did. However I didnt check it on my contract!! error on my behalf apparently. the truck i was using was new and only had 2052 miles. the contract said it had over 200,00 miles. They fuel gauge was accurate. At drop off I took a photo of miles and fuel level before turning in keys. Later that day I received an email receipt stating that I had used 52 miles instead of the actual 37. I got no credit towards the extra 1/8 tank of fuel that was put in. I went back and looked at the contract which clearly states that I will not receive credit for it, even though Nick told me I would. I called several times the next day and have yet to receive a response. Moral of the story...CHECK YOUR PAPERWORK and MAKE SURE YOU STAY TO CHECK IN VEHICLE. Apparently they will do/say anything to make an extra buck.

I wish I could give negative stars. It took a week to get back the money they were holding from my bank account.....then 2 weeks later they randomly took more money from my account. Corporate was not helpful and told me to go back to the location where I got the truck. I could not get the owner, Nick, to call me back and, when I showed up at the office, he walked away and LEFT!! The entire experience was a nightmare and I will NEVER use U haul again!

Dont ever rent from these people they will rob u with your money didnt get any paper work with my renter truck gave him 150 and tells me he owes me a 11 dollars back no way in hell that is true i will never rent from these people again and hope no one else does i will take my business someway else cause it shouldnt of cost me that much for not even 2days of having it

Filthy... unorganized..... atrocious..... Theres a blonde sitting behind a counter with a uhaul schedule but directs you to a dirty office where the guy there doesnt even know what he has on his lot.... then the trailer I did pick up I had to walk it from the back of the yard to the front because my truck wouldnt fit there.... just a mess.......

Horrible place, had a reservation for 9 am and no one was at the facility!!! Sat there for 45 min and called 7 times and nothing. A place like this should not be conducting business. I would not recommend this place for anyone.

Very suspect business practices. Like other reviews, I agree the place was filthy. The guy who was in the office was eating a very smelly lunch and asked if I could wait for him to finish while watching a very loud and raunchy episode of Jerry Springer (which played at maximum volume while executing the contract). Buyer beware!

The owner needs to shut there door when fighting and when u rent something to someone make sure u tell them all of the things that they are paying for I thought it was days not trip and didnt ask for stuff that they charge me
