We bought a certified 2016 Kia Sorento and 2 days later it started over heating. We took it down there 2 times they didn’t fix the issue. The third time they decided it needed a new motor. If it was really certified and looked over right they would know it wasn’t right. They would not work with us on trading for a different car or giving us our old one back. They haven’t even gave us another car to drive yet and it was Tuesday when we took It down there.. I would not recommend as we have had a horrible experience I just wanted a safe car to put my children in and who knows when I will get it back. I had a similar experience with Toyota a few years ago and they made it right trading out the vehicle for one similar priced. I should have went back to Toyota.

I’ve purchased my past 4 vehicles from the Don Franklin family of car dealerships. Of those of those 2 have been Kia. Brandon Wilson at the Kia location in Somerset has always went above and beyond to help my family find what we need. I’ve always tried to continue shopping with places that do try to take care of me and Don Franklin has always done that. The sales staff are friendly and not pushy. The service department is also very friendly and try to fulfill all your needs as speedily as they can. Overall I can’t really think of a single bad thing to say about Don Franklins dealerships and it always been a pleasure to work with them. Thanks again!!!

The buying experience was great! Super easy and Issac did a wonderful job. However, a couple weeks later we get a phone call from the finance department of kia stating that our warranty we signed was going to change. Change as in things not being covered that was when we signed. They tried to downplay it as LITTLE THINGS. but the key fob replacement which is not cheap and the curb protection. And tried to sugar coat it by saying oh look its gonna drop your payment about 5 dollars. And nearly no sympathy at all from them, just a it is what it is

Christian showed us the vehicle we were originally interested in, Telluride, but when we were considering leaving due to it not being big enough he showed us the 2022 Kia Carnival. Had a very bad experience. The salesman didnt even let me get out of my car before he was at my window asking what he could help with, then told me i was approved for a dodge dart, then told me i had to have more money doen then once i got the money he was asking for he told me i had to have a co signer, i got someone that wpuld co sign for me and he then said i had to come back the next day. I came back the next day and he told me he couldnt sale me the car that he told me i was approved for because it was a whole sale car. And told me he had me approved for anothe car then turned around and told me the bank woulnt approve that car that i had to get another one and i got fed up and told him he was wasting my time. So all in all i wasted 2days trying to get a car from them just to end up leaving w no car. Was a very bad experience

Twas the year of our lord, twenty-twenty one, the sun was beating down on the busy street of Somerset Kentucky. You could see the heat coming off the pavment in the Kia Dealership,but I was not deterred as I was there to purchase a new moterized vehicle! As I made my way through the sweltering heat surrounded by cars so hot to the touch it would put the Sahara Desert to shame, I could feel my body grow ever more fatigued as beads of sweat dripped from my face to the ground, I felt sick. Here I was, in a jungle of cars on the verge of passing out...when he showed up. Lucas Gregory came out of no where and whisked me to my brand new Kia Rio like a knight in shining armor emboldened with one simple word: KIA.

Was told wed be at a certain % interest and after buying a car we really didnt even want, we find out were at a higher %. Told wed get a new TV as well... Nope. Cashback... Still trying to find out when to get it. No call backs yet. Pressure the sale and leave you hanging out to dry. Not very happy at all. Make sure you stop and read the paper work. Its different than what youre told.

Well its a 1 time, and done for my wife and I. Went to purchase a vehicle, after testing a few, realized they was running my credit each time.Ended up with a Nissan Quest, kept it for a week then received a call the vehicle had been wrecked, bank had found it had frame damage and wouldnt pay the dealer for it.I hate to bash the guys but as far as providing a good experience they fell short. So if youre looking to be frustrated, go here, and or tim short in corbin.

I came in with a FWD 2013 Kia Sportage SX GDI that was just continuing to give me problems. Me and my fiancé decided that we couldn’t nickel and dime that car anymore and we needed an AWD vehicle anyways. We owed more on it than what it was worth and Kia took it and paid off what I owed on it. I was looking around for a new suv on there lot when Jessie one of senior salesman who would tell you he’s not a car salesman lol came up to me asking if I needed any help. I told Jessie I was looking for an AWD SUV. I told him we needed something midsize and told him the price range we wanted to stay at. I explained to him the issues with the sensors and the engine on the 2013 we had and that that would be the vehicle we’d be trading in. Jessie looks at me and says he thinks he found the perfect vehicle for me and it’s in our price range. We get all the general paperwork out of the way he ran credit all that fun stuff. He tells me the car he thinks will be perfect is a 2021 Kia seltos LX which is actually the same car he bought and drives. They didn’t have any on the lot except his which he even let test drive and showed me all the features and things on the car. I fell in love with the car and long story short he got the monthly payments down to meet our needs as close as possible. There was even one point where my fiancé wouldn’t budge on monthly payment prices and I thought I would have to walk away but Jessie did not give up he wanted to make sure all of his options were exhausted before he let us walk away. In the end he got the payments even lower than what we agreed to. They were going to do a dealer trade to get the car since they didn’t have any on their lot. While they were waiting on the other dealership to figure out a trade to get the seltos, Kia gave me a 2018 Rav4 to drive until my vehicle came. Jessie kept me up to date with information on when the car would be there. I wanted a blue but I told him I would settle for white. I thought I would be getting white because there was an issue getting the blue but Jessie called me at work the next say and said their truck just dropped off a blue one. We dove down there and within an hour had all the paperwork done and drove our new vehicle home putting the first mile on it. I could go on and on and on about how much of an amazing experience Kia gave me. Jessie is just one fine example of why I choose Kia. You all made me feel like no matter what decision I made you would support it and you would not pressure me into buying it. Before I left you wanted to make sure that you were offering me the prices you could. You not only made a reoccurring customer that day you made a friend. I will never choose another dealership over Kia. Their customer service is amazing and they are a no pressure dealership. They beat all the other dealerships on customer service 1 million times over so thank you for helping me get my perfect car.

I perched a used vehicle from kia of somerset ky. On December 10th. I habe never received my title still to this day. Have called and only get answering service and never a call back. Ive had 3 temporary tags and and about to have to have a 4th. The title was suppost to be and Ohio title as thats where our primary address is. So today they tell me its going to be a ky. title because its been so long that there was a failure of communication. Thats not my fault. I an a innocent victim. They have been very rude to my wife and myself when they are to blame. The vehicle was suppost to be in both our names and they did not put me on the loan. Been lied to by sales and financing. Talk to what was suppost to be manager named Robert. When we went there to get some answers. They told us that they have no one by the name of Robert that works there. They lie they do not stand behind their word. Absolutely my worst experience. And still have no title.

Received a letter in the mail last week that had the attached post it note that told us they would do payoff on our vehicle they had all our information regarding the vehicle. Call before driving an hour and was directed to the manager secretary where we were told that they do this all the time and if it says it on the note then they will honor it. We loaded into the car drove an hour to be greeted by Stanley S. (Sales Consultant) when asked to speak with Marc the Manager at the lot he told us he was also a manger and would take care of us. After he sat down he was all over the place then had a Salesman named Isaac sit down to start taking our info for a loan before they even gave us a answer on payoff. After 30 minutes of getting the run around they came back with a low ball offer on our vehicle. We asked to speak to Marc again and was directed to another guy as he gave us a made up excuse of how they can do business this way we once again asked for Marc and once again was not allowed to speak with him. I would stay far away from this dealership and its shady tactics. If I had to go here for a vehicle ask for Isaac he was honest and upfront the entire time when he was thrown it a position.If anybody from the dealership would like to talk about this post please feel free to contact me. Got an alignment and by the time I made it home there was a nasty rattle in the back rear wheel.Took back and at first they weren’t sure they could work me in that day. They then asked if I was willing to drop it off but I wasn’t because I live the next county over. They end up working me in first thing and it turns out they had left the lug nuts loose on that tire. No apologies, no compensation for my time or money spent driving back from the next county over, just a “thank you for coming in”.

I understand it was as is but in less then 2 weeks the transmission goes out and they offer absolutely nothing in the way of making things right only a offer to fix it for more then I had just paid for it. I understand by law they dont have too but after sitting on hold for 2 weeks trying to get ahold of someone and listening to their absolutely false on hold advertising of selling a car with an honest mans word only to being told it was as is so its all on you is very much a let down after Ive given them so much business in the past. I would not recommend anyone buy from Kia unless your ready to eat the cost of your vehicle needing major repairs days after driving it off the lot. Very disappointing!

I have a 2018 Kia Optima the air was blowing but was not cold. called for an apt. They told me it would be covered on the warranty got there and it was not - they charged me $160 to “recharge the A/C. The air is as then cold but making a terrible noise it wasn’t making AT ALL before and also had a bad smell to it. I call them back and explain this to them. Ask repeatedly if it will cost to fix THIS TIME they say “no” - take it in they say it needs 2 filters and it’s gonna be over $200!!!!! My husband says forget it. NOW THE AIR ISNT COLD ANYMORE AND STILL MAKING NOISE. We went and bought the 2 filters for $40. ITS STILL KOY COLD. I feel as though they ripped me off and did something to mess up my air when we refused to pay to have it “fixed” again. This was just last week.... May 2020.-Amanda Ellis Williams
