Loved this apartment. Gym, vending machine, on site laundry, large apartments and polite professional neighbors as tenants. Fire pit, large grassy area in back to walk the dogs. As a Rutgers fan I loved the stadium view from my balcony. Office staff very helpful with everything I needed. Oxford Management company has been great also. Life changed so I moved to another Oxford apartment but I will miss this one.

We just love the apartment. The view from our balcony is amazing. The staff and maintenance guys are very helpful and responds very quickly to solve any small issue with the apartment. The pool and gym facilities are really nice. Highly recommend.

The building manager is a massively incompetent and self entitled. None of her records are kept up to date and she does not communicate with staff. she is a five star bimbo. Living here for one year and I regret it massively.water also tastes weird, foggy color and chemical taste. Health hazard.

The Harrison has everything to be the best place to live, strategic place, wonderful view from every balcony, large apartments, but it leaves a lot to be desired in the administration, cleaning and maintenance of the very old apartments. I would need to have a bigger view and to reverse these negative criticisms (I agree with all) in improvements in the building. I love looking at the view from the window and I hate the hallways with dirty carpets and a strong smell.

Moved in a month ago and my partner and I are very happy. The rent starts of low and adds up with the water/trash/insurance/parking youre required to pay but it ends up being the same as market level and very much worth it. The pool and surrounding area is all very appealing and well maintained. I have had very pleasant experiences with the maintenance team when I needed some things fixed in my apartment (although the people who answer the phone sometimes have no idea what theyre talking about) but they are very prompt with repairs. The people in the management office have always been very professional and friendly although now that one of the main staff members is on maternity leave, it seems as if nothing can get done there. We are still waiting to have our door access set up since apparently only she knows how to do it. (Please come back soon!!)I like that our packages are always safely received and they ring our unit when something arrives for us. Elevators sometimes go out of order but its never too long of a wait even when one or two is down. They renovated the hallways and our unit which we love. The view from our balcony is lovely. Overall Id definitely recommend.

Horrible management specially lady name Rose.I have been living since 2016 ever since this lady work she has given my assigned parking to some else twice & this time my car was towed & have to pay $175 to towing company to get my car back.When we talk to Miss Rose she lied about everything & said it’s new management fault threatened to call cops. Hello we are tenants & management fault, why I have to pay for towing & why I’m being threatened to call cops. Eventually I called cops & miss Rose completely changed her statement. I believe they have camera in the management room. I recommend higher management to review video & do something about this lady. She is not a competent person & full of lies. I pay my rent & parking fee but still held responsible for management mistakes.Bottom line is horrible management & maintenance crew except one guy .I don’t know I will renew my lease next time or not due to this horrible management 😂Great job MINDY.Finally I got hold of someone who knows how to deal with tenants from Oxfords customer service & they resolved everything. They gave my parking spot back & promise to reimburse towing fee. She also offer us to reach her directly instead of going through such a horrible time. I hope they will have someone better in the building to assist tenants with respect.Thank you Mindy.

I have spent at least 6 hours and at the most 8 hours a month due to false alarm fire drills throughout my lease. Management office usually unwilling or unable to do anything about it if I am actually able to call them and am not sent to their off site call center. Will be leaving as soon as my lease is up. For the money I pay every month and the amount of inspections they are late for, I would expect to be able to sit in my apartment after work without intrusion.

Valerie introduced me to a studio with an alcove and I LOVE it. If you ever come to look at an apartment, ask for her! Totally helped us out, she was the best. The location is perfect. If you turn left you are minutes from downtown and night life, turn right you are minutes from low key restaurants, grocery, and shops (the essentials). the price of living here is considerably less expensive than all the other places around here. I moved in when they changed to new management, and the amenities are awesome...we get a brand new gym and pool...everyone got new energy efficient windows and sliding glass doors, so the electric bill is nothing like it used to be from people living here in a the past. take it from someone who lives here currently, best choice. Everyone is nice, and maintenance men are awesome.

Nice place to live. I love all the porters and workers within the building with the exception of a woman at the front desk. She is always very rude and talks and caters to a select group of her friends that live within the building. She does not make it easy to pick up packages and she treats anyone younger than 30 as a child. I try to avoid interactions with this woman as much as I can, when she should be a welcoming people that enter the building.

Things MAY have changed since I lived here.-they were ALWAYS doing some kind of construction.-Parking is far, elevator was SLOW. I NEVER checked my mail because you enter from the back, wait two days for an elevator, and the mail room is on the next floor. I refused to get out of the elevator to get my mail because I wasnt waiting another week for the elevator to come back.-laundry room was nasty.-my friends lived there, too, and got their car broken into, expensive stuff stolen, and the cameras didnt catch any of it.-had a corner apartment, so noise wasnt our issue, but didnt really like layout of the apartment. windows were small, too.-fire alarms went off often, and blocked the entrance/exit.-extremely difficult to make a left onto Easton avenue, which made getting to school/work difficult.-hallways stunk like food you dont wanna smell.-a MEMBERSHIP FEE for the pool? Ridiculous that it wasnt included, especially with the rent you pay.-I looked through the pictures in the photo gallery. The bathroom sink in my bathroom was the same as the one in photo. THATS IT. I dont know whether they completely renovated ALL of the apartments since I moved out of there, but the apartments in the pictures looked NOTHING like mine did. down to the floors, walls, cabinets. There is nothing I could have done to make the apartment look anything like the pictures. If they did renovate all of them to look like the pictures, then by all means, it looks like a great apartment!

Lived here for 2 years while going to Grad School at Rutgers. Super convenient. The apartments are very nice and its great that utilities are included. Made it so much easier to split rent. They also had a discount for the pool membership in the summer when I lived there back from 2008 to 2011 but not sure thats still an option - cant hurt to ask.

Geury from maintenance is very professional, friendly, and always responds to maintenance requests in a prompt manner. The same goes for the entire maintenance staff, they always did a very good job with fixing any issues that came up in my apartment.

I lived here only since May and this is the worst living I ever had. The apartments are great but the hallways smell, the management team is VERY unorganized, and maintenance takes days to fix emergency problems but will come fast for the easy problems. I am not living here once my lease is up and I DO NOT recommend this to any college students or people who’s schedules vary for work. They turn off the water often to fix “problems” that seem to never be fixed making your day start off terribly.

Wow, someone finally complain about this lady work for management name Rose . I have seen many times her arguing with tenant but nobody complaint so far. We saw the entire incident poor tenants done nothing wrong. She always lies & blame other people for her mistakes.Horrible place to live where managment does not respect tenants. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE place to live and HORRIBLE management. The worse place we ever lived. We quickly ended the lease because of how horrible management treats their tenants. The apartment was inundated with dirty waters coming from top of roof affecting all apartments from 20th floor all aways towards ours in 12th floor.Absolutely horrible experience.

I have lived there for over 1.5 years and my husband for over 2.5 years. Whenever theres an issue, the maintenance folks are quick to respond (they are the best. Extremely polite people!). Its been Aion management since I was there and theyve been okay. Parking spots are assigned (they charge $30 for that), ours was a little far but thats no big deal. Out of the three elevators one elevator is down or used for shifting most of the time (we were on the first floor, so dint have much of an issue). They charge you an annual fee every year, but apart from that they are upfront about the charges. We did not encounter any hidden fee or extra charges. The folks at reception are really nice and cheerful. Natalya at first might seem serious, but shes a very caring person who just wants good for others. James is extremely polite and Autumn, the new girl, is quite cheerful. For the price we paid, we got a really good apartment. Very spacious with a large patio (since we were facing the parking lot). The swimming pool was closed most of the time during this summer, but they extended it by a week past labor day. The electricity bill in winter spiked up due to the heaters but the heaters worked just fine. Kept the house well insulated. Four or five times an year they serve food (pizzas, candies, cookies, donuts, juices and snacks) at the reception. This is informed in advance by mail and by notices in advance. The only downside I felt was our weed smoking neighbor. Our house smelled of weed every time he smoked in the balcony! Compared to all other apartments weve been in/to, this has been the best!

Good view when up on a high floor. Garbage shoot down middle of building is a bit sketchy. Just wait until there is a fire alarm and you need to RUN down 17 or so flights of stairs and RUN to your car to beat the fire trucks. Once the fire trucks are there, no one is getting in or out for a couple hours. This happened a little to often for my liking.

The Harrison is a great place to live ! If you are looking for a modern apartment with the city & suburbs vibe ? this is the place to go .! ! The management there are so welcoming and the staff as well ! They are doing a WHOLE LOT PF WORK ! I mean day in & day out do not be fooled by the old reviews I give this 6 months and you wont be able to afford this place . Its definitely beautiful ! The views in the morning ? Views in the evening ? Just gorgeous ! The whole management team is amazing ! I love this place !! It has a pool, cabanas, basketball court, gymn, playground, parking, bbq area & coming soon club house! I love this place . !

Dont move into this place. HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT, dirty, no maintenance, trash everywhere, and limited security. You will be charged for water, sewage, parking(no visitor parking), and trash on top on your very high rent which is against township laws. Expect rent hike and new management every year. The heating systems are outdated and noisy. Each unit is not well insulated for winter. Expect to pay $200 to $300 in electricity each month and be freezing in the winter.

The absolute worst experience of my life and it has barely been two months! What should have been an easy fix after a leak in the apartment above me has gone on for over 6 weeks! There is a SERIOUS lack of communication amongst the management. The building/spacious apartments are lovely, but if one thing goes wrong in your ‘apartment home’ you will be left to your own devices getting anything done in a timely and efficient matter. The folk working in the building seem to be genuine people but please believe, the management team at AIOIN does not care. Don’t do it to yourself. Go elsewhere.

I am currently staying in these apartments, but I have never seen this much worst management. They never try to help the tenants. The heating system using for this apartments is 30 years old one which will increase your electricity bills 10 times higher than other apartments. Please careful before you rent any apartment in these towers. Always have cockroach problems and get ready for continuous ear banging false alarms and construction work. I am thinking of lease break.

I have been here over three years; many different property managers. The current property managers, Aion, have really made a difference. They are very responsive whenever we need something. This building needs some serious updating and they are on it. The pool, fire pits, and bbq area really make your summers more enjoyable. The maintence people are great and are some of the original people from when we first moved in. Natalya is amazing, she is one of my favorite people here. Every apartment complex will have some bad reviews, but this place is worth checking out.

Its the abosulte worst place to live. So many issues and none of it is being solved. The new management has an attitude problem and never available, when it comes to tenant issues. They charge you for extra stuff you dont have no clue about. Your rent is not consistent, youll be paying a different price every month. Water is always shutting off when they feel like it, alarm goes off at any hour. Its always lot noises early in the morning, the hallway stinks, the new manger is horrible and rude. The staffs are nice in the office. And lets not talk about the weather time, the heaters barely work, they do a lot of estimating on your pseg bill so expect for your bill to be $400-800 when the winter hits along with your unexpected rent each month. And if you recently moved take a look at your profile because they have a habit of adding on imaginary balances on your account. And the late few. If you show them proof of something was wrong with they system that you couldnt pay your bill on time and they check for themselves and see what you were telling them is true they still refuse to refund you your money. I repeat do not sign that lease youll regret it, I couldnt wait to get the hell up out of there.

DO NOT GO THERE!This is my experience with a person who works there. Her name is Carmen.At the beginning, after I paid application fee and submitted all the documents, she told me to wait for the credit check that was on July 26th. 8 days past, I didn’t receive anything or any notice. I called, she told me she didn’t receive anything which was a lie because there’s a thing called “history “ on the internet. I checked my sent box and everything is there. However, I didn’t disclose her because I was trying to be nice. I sent everything again and that was on August 3rd. Another 3 days past, I still didn’t receive anything. This time I decided to go to the office and ask her in person. Turns out she didn’t even check her email because she said she just got the email and even tried to blame me for sending everything too late. I told her the email was 3 days ago then she said she was too busy. She checked everything with 1 minute and told me to go back and wait credit check again. She promised everything can be done by next day. That was on August 7th. Second day, she called! What a surprise! But she told me I didn’t finish my application form. Are you serious? What happened to the last 13 days? She could’ve just told me the second day she got my documents! Fine, then I finished the form and she told me to wait again! But this time she was very responsive. Only 2 hours later, I got email told me I was denied! Credit score problem. A little background for me: I wasn’t born in the states, I never used credit card. It’s not a surprise if I don’t have any credit score. I called again, asked her nicely if there’s another way. Like paying more on security deposit or something. She said she will ask her manager and call me back, then that’s it. That was the last time I heard from her. Now, it’s August 11th. 16 days past, money spent, and I got nothing.I was treated like a fool.However, I got my apartment from a different place today. Turns out I just need to pay for 1 year of the rent in front. As simple as that, I got a very nice apartment eventually.So guys, listen to me, don’t waste your time here, go somewhere else. You will find a much better apartment in the end. Unless you don’t care about your time and you don’t care to be treated like a fool.

I agree with most other reviewers. Great view N from 18th floor. Everything else sucks. Winter heating bill exceeded $700/month and I was still freezing. No garbage dispenser and poor plumbing, hence the cockroaches. Access is via the garbage and incenarator and two locked doors, makes you feel real welcome, especially if you have groceries. The staff is something else, like when you order your meal at a restaurant and the waiter tells you to bend over. Cant wait to get out of this tar baby.

Below is a copy of the letter that i sent to management - they are rude and as soon as you sign a lease you loose their service commitment.Today March 11th 2017 at 10:30am I went down stairs to get my package from the front office. The Manager on Duty was with potential clients so I waited around for a few minutes then decided to interrupt the meeting to request my mail.I was not rude or loud or even intrusive, but the abrupt dismissal that I received from the Manager was all of those things. Youll have to come back later. she replied, her voice curt and riding the edge of annoyance, as if I were her associate or subordinate.As tenant here, I am not either one of those things. I expect that the level of service that i receive would reflect the values and promises that your company promotes. if Management decides that having one person here in the morning is enough to deal with tenants and clients, then ok, but I should not be treated like a second class citizen due to the staff being overwhelmed.I work for a Premium branded management company in the service industry. My workday is managing associates, clients and revenue. All of these things overlap and run into each other and I am overwhelmed at times by the sheer volume of requests and deadlines, but I would never dismiss someone as your Manager did today. She offered no time at which i should return, not apology for not being able to offer assistance and no real indication that she cared about anything other than shutting down my request as quickly as possible.To add insult to injury when i did return to get my package she recognized me, but did not greet me. She turned, grabbed her keys from the desk and answered her cell phone to take a personal call as she breezed passed me toward the package room. During her conversation about what time she might get out of work and her plans, she paused long enough to say what Apt?After handing me my package I thanked her, but got no further communication from your Manager and she was quick to get back to her phone call.My point, is that I pay rent here. I am not on managements schedule or payroll and I cannot be expected to accept sub par treatment or service from someone who claims to represent this great establishment.This is beyond ridiculous and it isnt what I pay for. I wasnt rude to her and as much as i wanted to inform her about herself I chose not to, because my words would fall on deaf ears.Im not even sure what kind of response i expect as it doesnt seem that this buildings management team is concerned with the tenants at all. .Regards,

The worst apartment.. the management keep changing for every 2, 3 months. The worst worst worst maintainance I have ever seen. I have given a complaint lady bugs ( more than 100’s)which comes through windows... n flies throughout house, food,bed aaah yuck,,,,,,,u can’t expect wat the response from them .. OH LADY BUGS THOSE ARE HARMLESS 😡 disgusting fellows.those heaters are annoying,, dey don’t work properly n winter time cold breeze comes through dat heaters ... we hav to cover dat heaters wit comforters otherwise we can not stay... no exhaust in kitchen n answer was it’s ok u can open the window so u can escape fire alarm buzz😱 .. I Moved in to the Harrison back in December with my husband. At first we were a little hesitant due to the location of the property. The hesitation was quickly quelled when we met with Valerie who showed us around the complex.At this point we had looked at approximately one dozen additional apartments/condos in the surrounding area, some in a better location and some at a better price range but once we met with Valerie and saw how passionate she was about making the customer happy we knew this was something we had to consider.Valerie showed a few different apartments and we found exactly what we were looking for. Along the way we ran into a few snags (no fault of anyones) and Valerie was there to help us out each time. To our surprise she even left us a care package upon moving in as a way to say WELCOME!....Who does that??I have read previous reviews and anyone can find a complaint with wherever they may be living at the moment, but through all the complaints it is more than reassuring to know that you have someone on your side looking out for your best interests, for us that was Valerie.

Ever since Kettler has taken over, the building has gone down the drain. Reduced cleaning services, less porters on staff, reduced doorman shifts. The general management staff are totally un-professional, and un-cooperative. They claim to care about the community when all they really care about is to get existing tenants out out and new tenants in so they can continue increasing rent in a rent controlled township.

I took very bad decision in moving to this place.Its simply not worth it, HIGH electric bills with waste of money.The Unit runs with electric heater, and it doesnt even work well, its stupid system and they insist of having them in the building.My unit are always cold cuz the heater are not good and eventhough i got an average electric bill of $600!!!!/MonthPlus BAD insulation since its old building (1973), winds blowing to inside the unit from the heaters unit which make it worst. They also cant do nothing about it.They have new Management in the Building took recently, and I have heared a lot of complains from people and residents about them, and for sure I agree with that.Bad smells in my bathroom comes from the vents, i called maintenance several times and they did nothing about it.Air blowing from the corridor to the Units.Disgusting smell in the corridors and dirty garage and laundry floor.I WONT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE !!! AVOID IT
