I am in the SF Bay Area & have never been here physically. I bought a used Thule bike carrier locally that was missing parts. I went to Thule who sort of helped me & sort of did not help me. I bought 2 parts from them. They were out of the third & said it is available if I Google.I Googled & Revolution came up. They had the part in stock & the price was fair. I paid. I received the part inside of a week.In fact, I ordered 2 parts from Thule & am still waiting for one of them. Thats how fast Revolution was. Also: Revolutions package included the part that I have yet to receive from Thule. Revolutions package also included an extra insertion key I was going to borrow from a friend.I have a fave bike shop for many things locally but they dont carry Thule. I will look to Revolution as my second source. Theyd be a first source if they were local to me.

As a relative newcomer to cycling, less than 5 years, Revolution wasnt my first choice (or second, or third) mainly because they were a bit of a drive from several of the other shops near me. And if Im being truthful, I wasnt sure what they would be like behind their gated entrance. Would they be too pro or too goth? or... So when one of the bike clubs I joined had them as a new sponsor I figured might as well check them out.Their entire staff made me fee welcome, never talked down to me with super-secret bike language, always had a smile and seemed to be perpetually busy with customers coming & going with bikes, gear questions, or just stopping in to say hi. Definitely not what I experienced at other shops!Somewhat later I was having an issue with my shifting and since its Italian none of the other shops seemed to be able to correctly diagnose it so down it went to Revolution where I met Dano, one of their techs. He figured it out pronto and has been beyond helpful since, anytime I stop in. Just like the rest of the staff.My job as a business consultant has me inside many different companies and I have to say while these guys are a small shop theyre definitely not small when it comes to taking care of business and customers. Ive observed them interacting with all different types of customers from guys who looked pro (to me at least) to a mom and kid looking for the right solution.Yes, there are many independent bicycle repair shops in North County but for my time & money its these guys. I urge you to check them out, give them a chance to earn your trust and business. You cant go wrong.

I took my bike to Revolution and with no questions they had my bike ready the same day, I was even able to buy from them the new Enve tires 29mm. Best road tires I’ve tried so far! Where do I start. Joel, the owner, is down to earth and real. You can tell hes a man you want to do business when he tells me Due to COVID, etc, Id love to sell you a bike, but Im backordered probably 6 months. His honest and great service is why I chose to get my bike fit done there with a used bike I purchased in the meantime, not to mention buying some accessories.On the service side, Dano was a GREAT help with my bike fit and took the time to help me out. If you want a chill, honest, down to earth experience Id highly recommend this shop.

I ordered my mountain bike from Mikki at Revolution in late 2018 and they put it all together in less than a week. I have been returning for service regularly as well as referring friends to the shop. They are top quality and passionate about riding bikes, both road and mountain. The guys in the service department are awesome and I enjoy taking my bike to them. I can highly recommend Revolution for all cycling needs.

Was looking to upgrade my 26 mtn bike and Noah was a bundle of great information. He is really knowledgeable and he understood how to translate my riding style. I like to support local businesses, and Noah convinced me to get a a new Yeti from Rev. Had a couple odd glitches initially, but they were committed to getting it right. They got the new bike dialed in and I could not happier. Good team, committed to customers.

The staff is super friendly. Always great always ready to help & offer advice. The bikes & accessories are top notch. They do repairs, can source out spare parts etc... The stuff can be pricey but then again you get what you pay for.

I ordered a pair of cycling shoes I was not able to find anywhere else. The customer service was exceptional. Very helpful and quick with replies, getting back to me well outside of shop hours. After I purchased the shoes, they were in the mail within two days and to me in about a week (international shipping to Canada). No hassle, no fuss. Highly recommend this shop based on the care and attention they have for their customers. Great experience and I would not hesitate to order from them again.

This is a bike shop that you can trust. Career experts in every phase of the bike world. They treat you like family, always welcoming to everyone. The Saturday rides are very well planned and the participants are generally very nice and are competent riders. Their large asphalt parking lot is perfect for testing bikes and the surrounding streets are great for longer test drives.

I strolled into this shop at 5:02PM when they were supposed to close at 5:00PM. I was looking for a 286mm long 15G spoke to fix my back wheel for a ride the next day. Instead of just telling me they didnt have any, the mechanic took the time to dig through their spoke box and find a long 15G spoke which he then cut and re-threaded for me. They charge me $2.This is superb customer service, and it tells me that this is a shop that actually cares. Shops like this are fewer and father between nowadays, so this was a very refreshing experience. I will definitely be going back, and would happily recommend it anyone, especially for service. Keep up the good work guys!

Worked with Joel on the phone. Courteous, enthusiastic, knowledgable, and just an all around good guy. He was willing to work with me on the phone and match prices with the suppliers I was familiar with rather than tie me to the merchandise and prices on the website. He even went out of his way to work with his dealer to get a model of bike that they had already sold out of this season. Fantastic all around.

Great mechanics and super awesome customer service. No bike is beneath them, be it beach cruiser beater bike or ancient rusted out mountain bike. They treat everyone on equal footing.

I wont get the ability to work with these guys face to face but I can say from my experience dealing with them from Texas it was great. I pinged them on facebook, had a response with a couple of hours. They were very helpful, actually helped me track down the frame I wanted in my size. Order was placed on Monday, and I had my frame by Thursday. Couldnt be happier. Will use these guys in the future for sure!

They are an awesome shop.Just want to make customers, looking for wheels, aware of my opinion and experience with ZIPP.Beware of ZIPP Wheels. I have cracked 6 of them and ZIPP did not warranty even one. Again beware, in my opinion it is an inferior wheel with no support by the factory. Have the folks at Revolution recommend another wheel.

Pros. During a stay in San Diego I rented a road bike in perfect condition. The service and hospitality were top and the price reasonable given the quality of the bike. Many tours around Rancho Santa Fe where on weekends cyclists are everywhere. The bike has become king in the corner.
