Ana is the absolute best at this location. She is very particular and does not rush with my wax. She even takes the time when the wax is completed to remove any ingrown hairs that are growing in. Honestly the best waxer I have experienced thus far. I always love my results.

Brazilian was service. Esthetician Misia was ok, not very friendly or good at explaining the process although I was familiar with it. Hair was missed, wax and baby powder were left on my lower body without assisting or offering to provide me with anything to clean myself up. Another issue I noticed this location was not as sanitary as some of the other Cobb county locations. Although I have been going to Andreia’s for years and this location is closer to my home I will continue to drive further out for better service.

It’s honestly a hit or miss with this place. You have to be mindful of which esthetician you book with. My first visit was great and super comfortable. I was told by the receptionist Carol did my first Brazilian wax, so I will continue to book with her. During my second visit Ana did my Brazilian wax and it was the most painful, uncomfortable wax after years of me getting waxes. I’m not sure if it was her or the wax but she had such a hard time getting the wax off my of my skin which made my experience so painful. She didn’t even bother to ask if I was okay throughout the wax. I definitely thought about leaving in the middle of the service, but stuck it out because I didn’t want to cause any problems. I have a high pain tolerance, have even done my own waxes from time to time after working in a wax studio myself. I had to ask the receptionist if she was new or in training because she seemed to struggle a lot. I just wanted to warn others because I wouldn’t want someone else having the same experience. Just be mindful when booking the esthetician.

It was my first body wax ever! I was very nervous, but Carol made me feel comfortable immediately, she explained everything she was doing, as well as the after care. Also I was self conscious because I’m a big girl lol and was afraid of feeling judged, but not once did anyone there make me feel that way, everyone was so nice, check in was easy, I was called back almost immediately. Place was very clean too! I’ll definitely be back!

I just left the Smyrna studio for the first time in 2 years. I was placed with Tyler today, and she was so quick and gentle! I was afraid that I would be in pain since it’s been 2 years, but she’s mastered her technique and it was only minimal discomfort (I mean really.. it’s been a while). I highly recommend this studio and Tyler if you’re looking for an excellent wax specialist!

I was not impressed with my waxing results. I got a Brazilian and under arms wax and I have patches of hair all over the place. Esthetician seemed nice, tried to be engaging, but overall rough. She moved fast with was a plus. I left with dried up wax and baby powder all over the place. My bikini area was bumpy and swollen for a few days.

I prefer the 1230 Powers Ferry location. I went to get a bikini wax and was given a partial job. There was wax left on me in so many places and it was a mediocre job compared to the other locations.

Misia is the best! She makes sure I am comfortable and satisfied with my service EVERY visit. I’ve been coming to her every 3 weeks for over a year now and I couldn’t see myself ever changing estheticians. She knows I travel a lot so she always asks me if I have any vacays I’m going on before my appt, so that she makes sure that I am extremely clean & will have minimal hair growth while I am on vacation. She takes her time, goes over areas multiple times and just goes above and beyond my expectations. Highly recommended!

Best waxing studio in Smyrna! This was my first time getting a Brazilian and Jo Hannah was amazing! She was super sweet and professional. I was nervous but she made me feel comfortable. I love the service I receive here. I miss going to the midtown location but the one on S Cobb is closer to home and I dont go to the salon next door anymore so it would be less convenient. My only complaint and I mention every time, is that if youre gonna use wax that hot, why not have a fan on us to instantly mitigate the heat?!

I have been coming to this place when it was known as WAX ME. I haven’t had a problem ever until today. I was charge $95 for something that I thought was $35 when it was explained to me when I came in for WAX. There was no type of real explanation given as to why they could not discount me for it. I’ve literally had no complaints since they switched over management and I still came even though my favorite aesthetician left once they switched. My feelings are hurt because I have been coming to this location for almost 5 years. They said they spoke to the owner and the owner said no there was no discount which makes no sense to me because I’ve been loyal. I won’t ever come back. No one in the shop understood where I was coming from and ignored the fact that I was told the wrong price. Now I have to find a new wax place

I love love love this place! I been coming to this wax place for a few years now and love it! I was here before Andreia took over this place (which both before and now this place is amazing!). I currently see Misia and she is wonderful! She is super kind and she really takes her time to make sure that your wax turns out perfect! She is professional and also makes sure you are comfortable! Also, the receptionist is very kind and welcoming which is a bonus! The ambience is very calm, clean, and altogether nice! I always look forward to coming here for a brazilian. I used to go to this waxing salon for about year from when it was Wax Me, I had great service from Jo Hannah, however after they changed management/owners the quality of service from the receptionists was disappointing. About a year ago I had my last wax there after developing a bacterial infection post a wax. As advised by my OB-GYN, I called to let the manager know that I had contracted an infection after my service there, however when I called the manager got defensive and rude when I was simply trying to explain what had happened and to ask them to perhaps change out their wax. She was rude, unhospitable and it was the worst service I had received there to date. She said she would call me back to discuss the matter further but I never heard back. The beauticians are fantastic - I loved Jo Hannah, but I caution you against the management.

This location is close to my house, so I decided to walk in for a wax, without an appointment. I asked if anyone was available, and the front desk person asked an aesthetician if she knew how to do a Brazilian wax. The aesthetician replied “I can try”......PAUSE, ma’am, you will not be experimenting with my vagina. The aesthetician actually got an attitude with me, because I refused to be a science experiment. Smdh. I took my business down the street to Bella Wax.

I was expecting a lot considering all the 5 stars they got but it wasn’t a pleasant experience for me. I got underarms with full arms by Tyler. She was nice and friendly but my arms are blue and red now with bumps all over. I am plus size so they should be gripping the fatty part before pulling the strip. The two stars are for underarms alone which were fine.

UPDATE from previous post!I never thought I would ever write a bad review of this place; however, this business isn’t like it use to be now that it’s under the new ownership. Johanna has always done my brows and is still great, but this place has a bad vibe now! The walls had hair stuck to them(GROSS) and I don’t recall this being the case all the years I’ve been a Wax Me customer and the wax is different too. Most likely a cheaper type of wax. I’ve been a customer from the day Wax Me opened; however, I’m done with this place. What a shame this use to be the best place in Smyrna, but not any more. Things have definitely changed over the past few months and not for the good.You can see my original post below when I was a happy customer a year ago.I love Wax Me! I have been a fan since the day they opened! Everyone is so friendly and they all do a fantastic job so if you are a walk in... you will be taken care of no matter who waxes you. I went in today for my first Brazilian wax, with Diva! She was AMAZING! She explained everything to me before hand and during. Johannah is amazing!! If youre looking for the most quick and painless way to remove unwanted hair WHILE keeping your skin healthy, y’all just try it out. I have very sensitive skin prone to breakouts, and I had tried so many ways to shape my eyebrows and get rid of the dark hair on my chin and neck. Before I saw Johannah my skin was covered in breakouts and very red and irritated. I had been shaving because my dermatologist reccomended it, but it wasn’t helping my acne and I had to shave every day to prevent stubble from coming through. Getting waxed the right way by someone who really knows what they are doing made such a difference not only in the health of my skin but also in my confidence. The breakouts on my chin and neck have gotten so much better. Another thing I loved about my experience was how great a listener Johannah is, she really respected my preference of leaving my eyebrows super full and used the wax to get some nice shaping! The customer service is always excellent and it’s something I look forward to every time I go. I started going here because my sister told me how great they are, and I don’t see myself going anywhere else. They are the real deal.

Ive had my best waxing experiences here at Wax Me Brazilian Studio. Every lady in there is kind and welcoming, the environment is clean and bright and actually puts me at ease for my impending hair removal service. Typically having hair removed is a less than pleasant experience but Marineis has something about her that just calms you plus shes gentle and quick! Amy is also a wonder, very quick, and so sweet! I enjoy these ladies, their services, and the overall experience. You wont be disappointed!

Visiting my daughter in GA and she convinced me to have a full body wax. Marineis is the best and I love her work and spirit!! I’ve been to one other competitor that uses hard wax and honey wax is by far less painful.Lisette is awesome and always calls to remind you of your appointment. I love her personal touch and she is always cheerful. Go check them out.

I have been going to this place since they opened, probably about 2 years now and I must say its the best! I love Marineis and cant imagine anyone else doing my waxes. Love this place ! I go to Ziva and she is amazing. She is so thorough and always makes sure that I am satisfied with my Brazilians! She is very personal and loves to get to know her clients. This place is amazing!! The staff here is very nice and friendly. I’ve been coming here all the time for my eye brows. I just recently had a full body wax. Lisette is an awesome receptionist! I normally get waxed by Joe or Diva. But everyone in the salon is great! I would highly recommend getting your Brazilians here!
