New owners: now called Swiftcreek Riding Academy. Great fun!
I have been taking lessons here for 2 months. I am an adult student returning to riding after 20 years off. They have been great. If you get there early to groom and tack your horse you will ride for a full hour! My trainer has brought me back to centering and starting ground poles. The horses are sweet and well cared for. The barn is very clean and it is a great family environment.
I have been a student at this facility for almost 4 years now and have had nothing but great things to say. The trainers are amazing and provide instruction for riders of all levels. The horses are cared for tremendously and everyone enjoys taking care of and being around them. I have boarded my own horse here for almost 2 years as well. She has been taken care of extremely well and all of my requests for her are always met. This barn offers several different teams for students to participate on and also hosts schooling shows. This barn really is a dream to be a part of. If you want to feel like part of a family, ride horses, and just have fun then this is the place for you! Creekside Equestrian Center is a business that I would recommend to anyone. By far the best place I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of.
We have been long time boarders.Since my niece Schuyler was 6 years old she is now 13 and My son Ramsey rides for Special Olympics Equestrian for Johnston County and he trains there. My whole family enjoys the family friendly atmosphere. We hope to remain here as long as Creekside Equestrian Center exists....Thanks Mr.Ricky and Ms.Pam for all you and Your staff and volunteers do ...please dont ever change.
I have been at this barn for also 3 years.the staff and riders are super, nice, kind and loving. They all help better me in my riding. I have had some bumps and falls on many of the horses, but never to hard to stop me from riding. The other riders help each other by showing and telling them things they may not understand.I love this barn!!
Weve been clients with this barn for almost 7 years and wouldnt dream of having our two horses boarded anywhere else! In addition, our daughter has been riding since she was 5 years old and we would never want her to be any other place while she continues to set and reach her goals as an aspiring equestrian. The owners, trainers and facilities are all absolutely amazing. They have so many opportunities available for everyone!
I have lots of respect for the owner and staff. My grandchild is taking lessons and the horses are well cared for. I love how there is a reward program for the children to earn additional lessons and the program also teaches responsibility.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. There is so much drama going on here, it would give Young and the Restless a run for the daytime Emmy. The owner has favorites and if your child is not one of them, then they will soon be forced out of the barn for some on the stupidest reasons. Money is the main care of the owner. It certainly is not a good environment for your children to be around. A lot of favoritism and special treatment for the chosen few.
This barn isn’t what they try to portray it as. The trainers and owners have been seen kicking and beating their horses in front of kids. If you don’t fit in with their little group there your either forced out or kicked out. The owner doesn’t care about the horses, it’s only about the money. There a few kids that get special treatment and can do no wrong. Others have been asked to leave over small things that the owner came up with. She went on a power trip and had a few girls kicked out within a week of a big show they were all looking forward to. I thought my relative was happy here but from what I’ve been shown and seen for myself this weekend I felt the need to speck up. Find another barn if you don’t want to end up like these kids.
This horse facility is the most disgraceful, dishonest establishment that I have ever encountered. The owner has to be the most deceitful person I have ever met. Greedy and wreckless. Her past horse hauling experience exhibits that. When you lie and manage to weisel out of what you should have been responsible for, you are sorry! Plain and simple sorry! Karma will catch up with you one day, and God wont be able to help you! Be sure and keep your Kool Aid drinking associates close! Hopefully they can support all of the expenses associated with the barn! Because I am pretty sure your parents would Love to be done with the headache and drama! But I guess paying them back all the money theyve put in will never occur either! I feel so sorry for them! We all should have known, if you steal from family, non family is a given! Sorry!!!!
I used to love this barn simply because of the instructor we had but when she left the owner stuck us with someone who was not fit to teach children and looked like someone from a carnival taking my child for a pony ride. The barns horses are not in the best shape and the barn wreaks of urine especially when the barn doors are shut.
This place is not a good environment for teens. There is a lot of drama and the owner picks favorites. Trainers will that to parents or other people about your student. Teen have been kicked out and the parents weren’t talked to. All the owner wants is money. The horse are not in good care. I would not recommend this place for teen. One training texted some kids over Snapchat.there is a better barn called hillcrest go there
We love Creekside. Beautiful facility and great instructors.
The instructors really understand the students and want to help them become better riders. 👍👍
Horrible, honestly. There is more drama at this barn than my entire highscool. They care nothing about their horses. In fact 2 fantastic horses have died here in the past year. One more recently, he was not taken care of and coliced and died. Owner is greedy and will ONLY treat you with respect only if you pay 1,000s of dollars a month. If you join IEA you have to pay for hotel, class fees, and other shows necessities ALONG with your trainers (owner of barn) hotel fees and food bills. If you want to lease a horse, just know that you have to pay for farrier, vet, board, and 4 lessons per month. I cannot stress how bad of a barn this is and how they dont have any respect for their horses, they just see them as a big dollar bill. If youre a beginner rider you have to wait at least a year before you can start cantering, even if youre able to canter. I would never recommend this place to anyone or sell my horse to the owner.
Fantastic!!!! Riding lessons, camps, birthday parties. You will love it lots.
Do not go to Creekside I do not recommend this place for teens it is a unhealthy environment. Teens get kicked out for no reason and the parents were not contacted about any roles that were broken. I was there one day and I saw a trainer fall off and smack the horse multiple times with a crop. A trainer contacted my friend over Snapchat and was very rude to her.
I ride there and its amazing
