I volunteered here for several years, and I can say the care and treatment these dogs recieve is better than Ive ever seen.

Love this place. Best staff and doctors. My dog(s) will never go anywhere else.

I called to find homes for my two cats. Unfortunately rough Creek ranchdoes not accept cats. But they were able to refer me to places that do.

Twice now Ive had the best experience adopting a dog from this place. The facility is lovely and Joy and her husband are both wonderful people and really care about matching their pups to the right home. Trust her judgement on things as far as what type of home each dog she has will need to be placed in. She knows her stuff and wants the best, happiest outcome for her babies.

Ive been in the works of trying to adopt a dog from this rescue, but before even getting to meet the dog and be seriously considered, my family and I were turned away because our house isnt fenced in. This has been the most frustrating issue with adopting in general and this place is no different.I feel as though Im being punished because my home doesnt have a fence. We have a home for a new dog to live and thrive comfortably and happily. I may not have a fence but my family is active enjoy visits and walks to the park and around the neighborhood, so exercise is of no concern. But still, we were denied.This not only robs the animal of a comfortable home, but also a family to get the chance to love and welcome a new member. The foster family we spoke with were very kind and helpful, so 2 stars minimum for their kindness. But the rest of the experience has been overall disappointing and discouraging for the future.

We adopted our dog Huck from Joy at RCR and we couldnt be more grateful. She was delightful to work with - knowledgeable about the dogs in her program and you can tell that its important to her to find the right fit for the dog and the family. We love Huck so much and would highly recommend adopting from Joy and Ruf Creek Ranch!

They helped me adopt the love of my life! I gave 4 stars because of how difficult they made the process in terms of convincing them I would be a good dog owner. They dont take the adoption process lightly, which I do realize is in the best interest of the pups.

My Cajun filet was fresh with with fresh fries and the sweet tea was just right.

We got our puppy here and they took such good care of us. You can tell how much they care for the animals
