One of the nicest Planet Fitness. Sinks are awesome! I can wash my water bottle in it and not splash everywhere. Also the fans are like 14 wide so they move air but are quiet

An awesome gym to go to overall—a nice getaway and reprieve for when you just want to build yourself up from ground zero and workout. The employees are extremely friendly and accommodating. They are also very meticulous when it comes to ensuring that safety guidelines are met and cleanliness is maintained. Access to the gyms exercise equipment/machines is always available when I go there, so that is convenient to me. Its not always about going to a gym that has luxurious extensions (spa room, swimming pool, etc.). Planet Fitness basically provides all that I really need at the right price.

I am new to the facility and I really the facility and I enjoy the fact that when I go in there theres not too many people and I am always able to use whatever equipment I need and want to use. The only reason why Im not giving it a five-star is I wish it had a spa and swimming pool so I can do some swimming or relax in a spa after a good and hard workout . And the price is awesome I would recommended to anyone who wants start working out.

Not overly crowded, clean and somewhat organized. Staff is helpful. Only down side I’d say is that people don’t put weights and attachments back, they just leave them on the ground for someone to trip over. Also don’t understand why the gym doesn’t have weight scales so people can track their progress. Never been to a gym that doesn’t have that.

Out of town visiting friends and didnt want to miss my workout. Since I am a black card member I decided to check if there was a planet fitness nearby and there was! Location was perfect the employees friendly. Everything was clean and easily accessible. This location is also open 24/7

I had to unfortunately cancel due to the change of hours at this location. I called in twice, first time they helped all they could but I needed a manager so I called back. During both phone calls both Jordan and Chad the manager were so polite and quick to help me with what I needed. They were very professional and I appreciate it so much. When the hours are back to normal I am definitely coming back to this location.

Seems to be a pretty normal planet fitness to me. The staff is very nice and attentive, they always seem to be looking to help and are very friendly. I wish they were open later on the weekends though.

I enjoy going to Planet Fitness about three or four times per week. After the hurricane I lost electricity and no hot water to take a shower. I went to workout and took a shower at the gym afterwards. Another plus!

I really like planet fitness until they started making you wear mask in the gym who wants to wear a face mask when running if on a treadmill.

They make you buy face mask and they dont give you your change. Also people leave the weights on the bar when they finish unstead of unracking them.

Place is horrible. Planet fitness use to charge me like 19.99 then my price jumped to almost 25 dollars without me even knowing. I havent been to the gym since COVID-19 started about 4-5 months. They charged me an additional 42 dollars that I could not get back. This place was just stealing money from me. I will never go back to this place ever. Not to mention when I did go there most of the machines stayed broke and there roof leaks. Horrible experience!

I love this place! The employees are always so nice, ready and willing to help with any questions I may have. I feel very comfortable and welcomed here unlike most gyms in our area. The entire place is always very clean and someone is always cleaning something no matter what time I come in. Oh, and lets not forget the amazing price!

I was on a cross country trip from New York and passing through late in the evening. Being able to drop in, stretch my legs on the treadmill, and shower did wonders to help break up the long miles in my overstuffed car. The staff at the counter were very friendly and the folks working out were doing their thing in the true Planet Fitness way, judgment free!

Its a good gym. Very organized in floor plan and easy to get to. Little more structured then most but still serves. Easy to get to. Service was fine

Was going to ask for information about joining but was turned off. The staff wasnt very knowledgeable and the website wasnt properly updated to match my reasons for joining. The parking lot was messy and had homeless people or drug addicts just walking around. Staff members on the cells at front desk, who would of thought that a judgment free zone would mean making new a possible enrollment a back burner issue. I guess the snapchat was more important to the staff member, so I drove to L.A. fitness in slidell and did a family plan with them and. If you want an adult gym with experienced staff, that makes you feel welcomed, go to L.A. fitness instead. L.A. fitness gave me guess passes and I got 6 of my friends to join also.

I enjoy my time at planet fitness. Very friendly and helpful. They are not judgmental of my struggle. I feel comfortable being out of shape until I get in shape.

I love Planet Fitness. Every location Ive ever been to has always been clean, very little waiting since they have plenty of equipment and just always very inviting.

There is a variety of machines as well as at least 4 of each machine and ten of each treadmill, elliptical, bikes, etc.. so there is always machines open and the ability to put space between yourself and the next person. The hydro massage chairs are relaxing after a workout.

Love this place! The atmosphere is great, theres always friendly people working there to help, and the classes are free and SO helpful!Stephanie is boss and will meet you on your level but not leave you there. Shell adapt your workout to your needs (bad knees, weight loss goal, race training, etc) and EXPLAINS the why behind the workout so youre learning. Its wonderful!

I really enjoy exercising here. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the equipment is well maintained, and the place is always clean, including the locker room. I also love all the you belong signs and policies that minimize the kind of behavior that push non-jocks away. There is also free wifi, which is helpful for streaming music while I exercise.There is no pool or jogging track or handball court or anything, and I dont miss them. The monthly fees are tiny compared to other health clubs.

This Planet Fitness is unlike the others Ive been too. Theyre actually judgement-free here, they let big guys, heavy lifters, and bodybuilders all work out at the gym. Everyone is respectful and polite.

This is my home away from home. The employees are always so courteous and helpful. There’s always a trainer there if you have questions. It’s a nice clean gym to go to.

A great, no-frills place to workout with good amenities and very reasonable prices. If you are looking for a good, clean place to workout and maybe do a little tanning, this could be your place. If you get the black membership card, you can bring a free guest and use other locations when you travel. This is hard to beat! Did I mention that the staff is friendly?

This is where I started my weightloss journey! No one judges you here even if you have stamina like a race horse and work out for hours on end like I do. I lost so much weight here using the arc trainer accompanied by a healthy diet. This place changed my life so much my lifestyle is now that of a gym rat 😁. Im been a member since you open,and planning to go back due to 40pound weight gain.But I been walking a hour every day and I want to get me a free personal trainer .Because I have smoke or been a smoker .for little over a year and I never knew how hard is to quit on my own .i tried everythingAnd I stop smoking because you have to burn more fat by circuit or weights.I never get on the scale but when my clothes get tighter the I say I know I gain weight and I will not allow anything To stop me and get back in shape due to health problems

This is a great gym and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

The Slidell location has been a mostly great experience. I enjoy plugging in my headphones and watching the news or something on Netflix while doing my elliptical as it helps to pass the time. I get good use out of the 30 min circuit as well. The facility has been really clean and there is always a bottle to wipe off a station after you use it to be courteous. My only negative would be the trainer sessions. I have been out of the gym for a long long time and wanted to see if there was anything he would recommend for me to get started. I would honestly have gotten better advice from a magic 8 ball shake toy. The advice of yeah we got lots of machines and stuff so just do what you want is not exactly what you want to here from a person who is supposed to give you at least a reasonable understanding of what workouts would help you accomplish a goal. I didnt allow this to put me off. The guy seemed to be either just out of high school or something so I just mocked it up to a shitty guy for the job thing. I eventually found some support on the planet fitness forums and what other members started to do and it has been really helpful. I started off at almost 380 lbs and am down 45 lbs in just a few short months. The gym has a been a great place to go and not be judged and get my workout in and I would recommend it to others. You honestly cannot beat the price of $10 or even the $20 a black card member pays. Best decision on my health I have made in a long time. :)

The 2 African American gentleman that was working on 1-9-2020 was staring at my girlfriend for quit a while until i got up and went by her. Not happy about it!

Weve been going to Planet Fitness for a few months now. Overall we are satisfied with the staff and equipment. Only real complaint is they claim to be judgement free and restrict certain attire (which I like). However, the staff needs to pay attention to the things they are showing on the televisions. Weve seen explicit love scenes on one visit and the other channels, like the Travel Channel is mostly men and women in tiny bathing suits. You cant workout dressed that way, but they make you look at it on t.v.. They should have the televisions on less provocative stations.

The bowls of candy at the front counter should be a tell. I walked around to check the place out, and the distinct lack of barbells made my decision for me. It may be a great place for someone else, but not for me.
