Casual lifting area not to condensed. Morning hours and around lunch times are best to go. Gets pretty packed anytime after 3.

This gym is by far the most professional and clean in all of Slidell. The front desk is staff goes out of the way to ensure each guest has an exceptional experience everytime they walk thru the door. The communication between the sales team and front desk is better than the drive thru at chick fil a. I will always encourage any person I meet in Slidell looking for a gym to start here. Thanks!

Awesome Workout gym since re-branding excellent staff excellent equipment they also have racquetball court basketball court pool hot tub Saunas showers And they are extremely clean excellent excellent and you can’t beat the price Starting at $10 a month

It’s was a surprise that they changed their name from LA Fitness to Esporta Fitness (yet still under LA Fitness), which also resulted in enforcing certain costs that LA Fitness didn’t enforce. I still accepted the fees because it was more important that I start going back to the gym. And it’s the only gym in the area of its kind with a basketball court.

Nice, clean gym. Stays pretty busy, but there seems to be enough weights and machines to keep it moving!

Don’t know if this is a gym or place where millennial folk go to take pictures and talk on the phone while on the gym equipment. Unnecessarily overcrowded and no control of the patrons on the basketball court or the Social media models hogging equipment to take pics and talk on the phone.

Poor management. Bad business practices all around.

I was thinking about joining this gym but its the only LA Fitness I ever seen to not have a website link and it doesnt state that it has a Basketball Court. The main reason not to join is the weekend hours are listed as closed at 5pm. I will never sign up to any gym that close before 10 pm on a weekend and weekday needs to be open to Midnight. 24 Hour Fitness is the best but for some weird reason the State of Louisiana doesnt have a 24 Hour Fitness. I have not Played Basketball since March 2020!

This is my first week and I would like to said this is the best gym I’ve been to. I have been a member of Youfit and planet fitness but this gym beats them both. I would like to give a big thank you to Ben & Connor for going above and beyond to give my wife and I great customer service! It really shows that both of you put a lot effort in your job. The gym was very clean and has a large variety of equipment. I think we will be staying here for a while!

A little on the expensive side but has lots of good amenities. Very clean.

Management and desk personnel lie to customers about monthly/yearly prices!They also lie about how to cancel ur membership!When u go in to cancel, (even tho u pay for first and last month up front)they charge u ANOTHER MONTH AND A YEARLY FEE!A yearly fee that they waive just so youll join...Unprofessional staff!Join at ur own risk!Id drive an hour to get to Anytime Fitness before joining here!

I love the aqua fitness class on Monday and wednesday. All the staffs here are awesome! The GM Cole is so helpful as well as all the staffs. The Zumba class is also good too. The place is so clean and fresh!

Overall a clean gym with a lot of nice equipment. Had a big issue that came up within our first month of membership. Was forwarded to the VP of the district. He completely ignored the issue we had. Never tried to contact me after he assured me he would. They charged us $500 to get out of the contract after we were completely mislead. Got in touch with corporate, you can’t find their number anywhere online. They said they would have this issue resolved two different times and never called me back. Completely disgusting how they handled our situation. If something goes wrong with your membership don’t expect to get it resolved. I’ve had friends that they sucked money out of and had to pay a fortune to get out of the membership. Go to cross gates!

The equipment is top notch and the staff is friendly. We enjoy going there but they dont clean the facility very well and they dont make the members put their weights back. Minor fixes if management would toughen up.

Unfortunately theres not a lot of LA Fitness in the area. As for this LA Fitness though its very clean and up kept as well as a good front desk night person. I wish I could remember his name.

This club is a little over a year old and Ive been a member since.Clean environment, pool, sauna, large locker room, mainly for people who are intermediate and below in working out, mostly friendly staff, group fitness, no WiFi, not 24 hrs.I got the 3 yr membership. So if I cancel, I would have to pay half of what I have left. I was okay with that. Then, I got the personal trainer for my husband. It was fine until recently. Not with the trainer so much but how it is set up.So, his year was up in February for the personal training but no one called to see if we wanted to continue the service. So I called to see why we were still paying for it. I was put on hold. Then got hung up on. I called once more. They took down my name and said they will have someone call me. Never happened.So I contacted the club the next day. The receptionist told me that after a year, its a month to month basis. We were never told that. I asked if we can cancel it. He said yes but we would have to use the sessions within a month or have it reduced. So I will be paying for personal training without getting sessions if I reduced.Due to my husbands unpredictable works schedule and car accident, he raked up 20 training sessions. So they expect us to hurry up and use these sessions that we already paid for and pay them more money, or should I say penalize us, for holding these sessions until late we use them...

Best gym ever to go to. No judging or anything bad at all. Nice dry sauna, basketball court, racquetball court and pool. Dressing room is clean

I am new to New Orleans. I am a member in Texas and I was surprise that this gym was never crowded even at 5 PM on weekday. The staff was always nice. The only negative was most equipment were like new, except they were one of the worst in all of LA Fitness and brand (Matrix - they are more for athletic than body building, most are dual cables) and were very awkward to use. The leg extension machine had no height adjustment. They dont have several crucial machines such as hammer or back row. Also I wish the janitor would not be cleaning the locker room and the floor at 5 PM where they were occupied.

I love that its so new and smaller than that huge other gym.

Not 24 hours, also free weights only up to 100lb, and you have to bring your own towel and lock for a locker, but not a bad gym overall. Friendly staff, clean locker rooms, and a nice basketball court. Not a Powerlifting gym, but great for the below average to intermediate fitness oriented people.

Staff is friendly and the gym is pretty well kept. They seem to have a problem keeping weights racked correctly and a lot of the clamps are already missing since opening but its not something that would make or break me being a member. Overall great gym I would definitely recommend it for average to intermediate fitness enthusiasts.

Not like most gyms, great staff, have made great acquaintances, even good friends...and the price, not over packed, but then it is most are polite, not like other places in town.

Overall, this is a nice gym with courteous employees. Its very new so of course the equipment is in great shape and its very clean. The hours are convenient.One complaint I have is that there are not nearly enough group class offerings. There are only about two options for classes after work and sometimes they overlap. Basically, if you want to take an evening class its going to be yoga, kickboxing, spinning, or water aerobics. Compared to other LA Fitness locations, Slidell has about half the number of classes offered.Also, it would be a nice gesture towards clients if the front desk would carry a few convenience items such as band aids and hair rubber bands for unexpected situations.

The gym itself is good, the given group classes for members are limited compared to many other LA Fitness clubs across the U.S.A.

Because its newer than other gyms in town the equipment is great, however they turn the air-conditioning almost off many times to save money, and the restrooms /shower areas arent frequently cleaned. The biggest complaint is they dont have WiFi. You cant stream videos or music on your phone Bluetooth without using your data.

Working out here reminds me why im 30 and hate my life.

When I first join I was very subconscious about being there and feeling like I dont fit in. After training with Genna, Johnny, and Krystal I love going to workouts and I love the positive environment they have! From the front desk agent to the cleaning staff everyone is very friendly!

Been told for the last few months Wifi is coming! The tread mills are a bit hard. They made us put reference down after we very clearly said do not call any of them. They still called 4 times after I went and said do not call any one of them. Left a local place for this place and not very happy! Need work in a few spots.

They will lie to you about the details of a membership to get you to sign up and then you’re stuck. Never do personal training with them. I’ll be cancelling my membership ASAP.

I have worked out there several times, and have really enjoyed it. The staff is friendly, and obviously very fit and serious about their fitness.

Best gym in Slidell. Clean and very friendly staff. I been to every gym from Metaire to Slidell, highly recommend joining this gym.

This should be your warning. The manager will give you a great walk through and sell you while he flat out LIE to your face in order to get you to sign a contract. Look at the track record for LA Fitness, a simple google search is all you need, mostly negative. The Slidell location is no different from all the rest. On first glance it seems beautiful but take off your blinders when you go in. The pool floor is filthy (only cleaned twice a week), locker room is subpar, and classes cancel unexpectedly. Please do not take our word...just do your research before you sign. and oh by the way...cancelling from this gym can be a B&%CH, no matter how easy they say it will be! Did we mention no wifi, and some of the staff were rude.

I TRAVEL FOR BUSINESS AND THIS IS THE 3RD TIME I ARRIVE AND THEY TELL EM THEY ARE CLOSING AT 6 BUT STILL ADVERTISE THEY CLOSE AT 8PM. WHAT KIND OF SERIOUS GYM CLOSES AT 6PM ON A SATURDAY? PLACE IS A COMPLETE JOKE OF A GYM.

Never sign up for a PERSONAL TRAINER, we wanted one month, but in the small print on the contract many pages long, it is $2450.00 for a year, so it cost me $1000. No to be trained, and they tell you the session is one hour long, but they are only half hour. BEWARE, what you sign up for at this place
