I called there yesterday looking for a Denali they are suppose to have come on the lot. They confirmed & when I inquired about the supplier discount they told me they aren’t honoring it because of the market. I believe if a customer is looking to spend there hard earned money there the least they could do is honor a corporate wide discount program when Someone is looking at a $70,000+ truck. Sorry Charlie I’ll never waste my time with yall again. They aren’t concerned about you, they are more concerned about theirselves.

I received a notice for a recall on my Yukon XL from Legacy a couple of weeks ago. I called and spoked to Alyssa and she was very helpful. I couldnt schedule at the time and she was very understanding. I called today with a date and time that works best for me, and AGAIN!! I talked to Alyssa. She was able to accommodate exactly what I asked for. Alyssa spoke clearly, energetically, and answered my questions about the recall without putting me on hold. THANKS ALYSSA!!Ive been in business for a long time and I realize the pains of having the wrong person answer your companies phone. That person can cost you more than can be measured

Extremely poor service..No communication by service department in over 24 hours of drop off of my vehicle. After 24 hours . talked to telephone representative who told me they are too busy with customers and if I cant wait then I can pick up my vehicle and go elsewhere. The telephone operator said that this was the sentiment of the service representative.I am sure other dealership service department will be glad to have business and be more communicative and respectful of all customers.

I was sold Gap insurance that I didn’t need. I am trying to cancel it, but no one will call me back. I have left messages for Steve Lousteau every day for over a week now. I find this extremely unprofessional. I will not be recommending this place to friends or family.

I Brought a car from them a few months ago the salesperson Charles was the guy who sold me the car when I first got there he showed me the car told me everything was good to go had a few dents on the back but everything looked fine we test drove the car the ac was blowing hot so he told me that all it needed was free on ok cool next thing he said the tires were brand new on the car ok cool they looked pretty good so we went on ahead and did all the paperwork I told him I wanted to pay my taxes and everything on my car to avoid doing it later thought he understood which he didn’t instead I paid all kids of other BS Fees that they have at their dealership I messed up I should have checked my paperwork again and double check it which was fault on me but still he asked me if I wanted to take care of the taxes and fees and everything I told him yes not knowing he diddnt add those in there I paid extra 600$ for fees not knowing it wasnt for my taxes ok cool I found that out when I called today to check on my license plates and they told me I have to bring my car to the dealership to pay my taxes in order to get my plate smh not to mention the ac that Charles told me just needed free on was a lie i called them the very next day to tell them I needed to fix my ac the parts repair whoever he is told me I would have to pay to get it fixed so u know what I said to hell with them Ima bring it to my local repairs man I had to pay 600$ to fix my ac cause it was broken also those tires he claim were brand new he lied about that also I had to pay 700$ for 4 brand new tires they were rotted out the moral of this story is these people are a scam they get u in the door but are not upfront and honest with u u will be stuck paying for your own repairs they are rude they lie and refuse to fix anything that’s cost a lot so avoid these pl as much as U can they are a Scam

I ordered 2 emblems that doesnt fit my car and yet for the 4th time he keeps telling me they does.I just got 4 brand new tires on my car.car and the tires men to put my emblems that fit on my car.

Staight scam artists, the finance officer will lie through his teeth. If you value your money, stay away from this dealership. Horrible experience, I drove 30 miles after discussing the price, yet different quote when I arrived. Totally regret dealing with them, places like this should go out of business, so no one else is scammed.

Drove 70 miles to see truck I wanted. It was sold. Then, they called me back and said another was inbound and I could purchase it before it arrives. I offered deposit over the phone and was ready to buy. Was told that truck was mine and they didn’t do deposits and made appt to sign papers and pay the next day. Sold my truck the night before, drove another car (70 miles) to buy their truck. Sure enough, it was sold again. Miraculously they sold it after hours and nobody had any knowledge of me coming to buy this truck. I would think at the very least they should communicate as a sales team. This was a colossal waste of my time. All they had to do was call and it would have been OK. Fortunately I found a dealer within acceptable distance who knows how to treat customers and bought the same truck later that day.

Assistant Service Manager Derek Sikes is the reason I bought my new truck from Legacy. I had a mechanical claim due to an accident and was having issues with my insurance. He went above and beyond to help get things sorted out and covered at no expense to me. He has continued to go above and beyond since that first experience with any service or parts related with my new vehicle.Carlos and Melissa in the Sales Department were also great to work with when I purchased my new truck.

Absolutely the worst buying experience of my life. If you’re trying to buy without being there in person, it’s not even worth it. They’ve got great prices, hence the 1 star. 0 stars on EVERY other aspect.They couldn’t take 1 minute out of their busy schedule to call me back on a Friday because I wasn’t in person. They waited until Saturday when my credit union wasn’t available. They quoted rates 4% higher than market. Then on Monday, they kept throwing up roadblocks to getting a deal done out of state.

A dealership that has sales people. Ready to help you buy a vehicle. We went to another GMC dealership that had a different system. Had to wait on a manager to come to your table to negotiate. We left after 15 minutes of sitting there.Legacy had the truck we wanted, a salesman that was ready to negotiate, so we struck a deal and took it home. We love our 2018 GMC Sierra and the Legacy customer service.

We recently moved to the Slidell area and needed service on our GMC truck. We have made appointments that had us either waiting for 30 mins to be noticed or us searching for someone. On two occasions, we have left. Our truck is leaking water and we needed services to correct the issue under the manufacturer warranty. After making yet another appointment, we are waiting around for 20 mins. They did an oil change and checked the roof and back glass. They stated they will order the part, which should take about 3 days. A week and a half later, no phone call or email from them. We called them and couldnt get anyone on the phone. My husband decided to just go up there and they stated the part did arrive but they have been busy. So we set an appointment for this morning to drop the truck off and get a loaner. This was already supposed to be set up for us but when I get there, guess what, no loaner, and no services person was available to check me in. Now I am upset because this is the worst service I have ever experience with a dealership. As of today, I will not support this dealership or take my vehicle to them. Worst service ever!! There is no reason that a line of cars should be sitting there waiting 20 mins or more just for someone to be ignored. A Hi, we will be with you shortly or organization training to make sure your customers are taken care of in a timely manner goes a long way. I will be contacting GMC about my warranty issue.

We purchased a used 2019 Jeep at Legacy 4 months ago, where they installed a lift kit on it. Unfortunately, it has been doing the death wobble where the vehicle shakes if you hit a bump going between 20-40mph. I purchased the used car warranty, so I took the Jeep in and was told they could not recreate the issue which is total BS because it does it at least once per trip I take it anywhere. They said they tightened everything and it should be fixed- but it is not any different. Now they will not return my calls to schedule an appointment. Do not purchase from here. They do not want to fix the issues caused by the lift kit they installed.ETA: it was a loose bolt that was immediately identified by another mechanic.

Buddy of mine and his wife just might be the nicest people I know. Recently, this dealership promised them a specific vehicle at a specific price and then sold it out from under them. This isnt the real crime. While this situation was completely mishandled, the dealerships employee cursed so loudly at them in the parking lot that other employees came outside, and everybody within 50 feet stopped what they were doing to view the show. Knowing them, I know theyre not the problem. This is mortifying and no potential customer should ever be treated this way. Do yourself a huge favor and make sure you stay far away from this place. They dont deserve anybodys business until they clean up their act.

Buyers beware! On July 3rd we went visit this dealership, to test drive a 2020 GMC Terrain. The salesman showed us the SUV and was very knowledgeable and informative and pretty much sold us the vehicle! But when it came to the finance manager there was a lot of BS and small talk while my car was being valued for trade-in. Then they only offered 50% less than what Carvana, CarMax, and three other local GMC dealers offered us for trade-in. If you have a trade-in, I would go elsewhere!

5/25/2020- Went to Legacy Buick today with the intentions of buying a truck for my husband or SUV for myself. After speaking with Gino and having a conversation as to why earlier in the day the price of the truck was $1,000 lower he quickly became aggressive. He was rude, arrogant, and not personable at all. He raised his voice to us in front of our child and was over all very confrontational. Needless to say, we got up and left. A sales manager did come outside to hear our side but I don’t think he even really cared. I have never felt so disrespected while trying to buy a vehicle. We took our business elsewhere and bought a truck from Bill Hood in Amite.

We bought a used Chrysler 300 from this dealership, cash in hand, on February 7th, 2020. The car is for my girlfriend whos from Nebraska, so the wait was 2 to 3 weeks for the title and license plate to come in for pickup.It is now May 14th, and we still havent received the title or plate. We called multiple times throughout the 3 months waiting, and was told, We are still waiting on it, and will contact you when it arrives. They told us today, that they are giving us another temp plate, and expect the title and permanent plate in 2 to 3 weeks!This business was willing to take our thousands of dollars, but couldnt finish the deal on their end. I know where I wont buy my next diesel truck at, or any other vehicle for that matter!

The service department is a JOKE! First time I ever brought my Yukon in for an oil change it took 3-4 hours even though I had an appointment. I dropped it off again yesterday for another service appointment and for a few things that I noticed was wrong with my vehicle. Was told my car would be looked at 1.5 hours after my appointment, ok fine. They dont call me until they were about to close saying they couldnt figure it out and that they would try again first thing in the morning. Well I never heard from them. I call them at noon the service adviser Mitch has no idea whats going on. After being put on hold for 5 mins he comes back saying they couldnt figure out what was wrong with my car. I asked what time they figured it out this morning & he couldnt answer. Is communication not key in customer service ??? Could no one call me and let me know the status of my vehicle .... I asked if it was ready he said the sensor wouldnt be there until tomorrow. I would seriously NEVER recommend taking your vehicle to them for service if you value your time and or a company that respects you as a customer and can communicate with you.

Within 15 minutes we were in and out. Not your typical scrupulous dealership. I would recommend them to our family and friends. My experience at Legacy Buick in Slidell was easily the smoothest ive ever had at a car dealership. From Kaitlyn and Carlos all the way up to the general sales manager they were able to address any questions or concerns regarding their vehicles that I had. Unlike most dealerships, they were less concerned about steering me towards certain vehicles worrying about their commission, and took their time till they were able to find the right vehicle that fit my specific needs. The AC compressor in my 2014 Sierra went out and I made an appointment to have it fixed. Although the cost of repair was very high, the service was exceptional. Due to my vehicle having to be there most of the day I was provided a courtesy vehicle to return home. Mike my service advisor was always informative and helpful. I live 45 minutes away from the dealership, but I am willing to make the drive for the service.

But the team at Legacy not only got the vehicle in; they had the parts replaced and I was back on the road in under two hours. It was also the last straw with my local dealership. Definitely a shady car lot. The finance guy tried to get me to sign a much higher interest rate (8%) than we qualified for and then verbally lied about the interest rate we were getting and had us sign for something higher. The sticker from another dealer is still halfway on my vehicle. Will never shop here again and if you do definitely read over your paper work before signing. JUST GO TO ANOTHER CAR LOT.

The paint is peeling on my 2 year old GMC Sierra with 20k miles. Warranty would not cover the repair because they blamed it on rock chips. I have had several vehicles that all had normal rock chips on the hood and roof, which is common from highway driving. None of them had the paint actually peel back. Message me for photos before buying a GMC. Overall a good truck but their paint is horrible.

What a joke, went to look at purchasing a new truck. The salesman searched the database for what I wanted. Found the truck, but it had a certain thing on it I didnt want, so said he would keep searching and let me know. Never heard from him again. I purchased a new truck and the sales staff was not honest about the accessories I could have installed after the sale. When I tried to talk to management they would not respond. I cannot recommend this dealership.Today 4-10-18 the Salesman at Legacy Buick GMC read this posting. This is normally not a big deal but he responded to my personal cell phone with a very unprofessional text. In the text, he was much more worried about having a poor review than he was about correcting the original issue. He then proceeded to say I was unappreciative of the massive discount they gave me and then proceeded to call me a coward and he will not waste his time on ANOTHER UNAPPRECIATIVE CUSTOMER. It appears he has had more than one unappreciated customer. When I notified the management about his text they failed to respond. I guess they allow this behavior and dont mind if their sales staff treats people with disrespect.

I had a wonderful experience at Legacy Buick GMC, specifically in the pre-owned department. John Labeau is quite an exceptional young salesperson (not to mention with an engineering background from Texas A&M). Normally a great place to do business. The experience leading up to the sales was wonderful, we were met by Tyree, who immediately greeted us with a smile. And Gio, who took my truck for trade in estimate. Tyree took my wife and I right to the vehicle that interested us. Tyree is extremely knowledgeable on the line of products you have to offer with great communication skills towards the customer. He even followed up the next day to check on us. The salesman by the name Gio expressed unprofessional behavior. He left multiple times without communicating to us when he would return, I had to leave the office twice to ask associates if we could speak to him. At one point we asked an associate what the problem was, the response was “That’s Gio”. He talked down to us like we were children about financing, we asked about extra oil changes which were dismissed until we brought it up at closing. He had communicated to us that we were welcome to go to any other dealership to buy a vehicle knowing this dealership had the best rebates around by volume. When he did not understand how our credit union worked, he told us we were at a standstill and couldn’t make the purchase because our check was no good. We told him we would contact our bank to clarify and he became irate and slammed his pen down on his desk and exited the office with an attitude that I have never seen, and/or should never be experienced by a buyer. That’s when Gio told us “good luck on getting anyone from the bank on the phone this time of night.” I personally believe if this situation was in a different environment, that Gio would have become verbally if not physically confrontational. At one point during the sale he was in another office and our perception was that he was conducting another sale with other customers without regard to my wife and I as the client. My wife and I also were not even offered any extended warranties or extra insurance by the finance department. We were in the finance department approximately 5-10 minutes which was done expeditiously I believe due to the close of business day, my name and address were incorrect on all paperwork and had to be corrected on the main forms for my Credit Union. I had to ask the finance officer what my warranty was which is the standard. This is my wife and I’s third purchase of a GMC vehicle from dealerships across the country. I feel disgusted by the treatment given to my family from a company that I hold in high regards. I believe that there should be some remedial training for clarification and better understanding of the policies and procedures. Definitely a shady car lot. The finance and sale manager guy they both verbally lied about running our credit due to the face the interest rate we were getting at my wife credit union was 1.9% and we were putting $17,000.00 down and the Sale manger told me that I could take truck home because it’s they policy. Then the finance manager “Damon” added $214.75 license fee and was very rude over the phone and hung the phone up in my face after I caught him in a lie about what’s the amount of the fee for. I asked for they to refund me my money because I live in Mississippi. Damon told me you can’t do anything about it all I’m giving you is $112.00 refund and hung up the phone. Damon was VERY unprofessional during the whole conversation. Will never shop here again and if you do definitely read over your paper work VERY careful before signing. JUST GO TO ANOTHER CAR LOT PLEASE!!

Seemed nice enough at first until Carlos began telling us that they MUST charge an extra $499 for a paint job on a new vehicle which didnt make ANY sense to me. He explained that it was due to the Chalmette refinery?!? Really? Then he said that they had to charge a $199 fee for window etching?!? He went on to say that any other dealership will not tell you about such fees up front and to always ask about the dealer fees. So, I went to Crown Buick, and did just that. I told our salesman, Duck, what happened in Slidell and he just laughed, especially about the epoxy paint upcharge. There were no fees and he provided me with an unbelievable price on a new Encore for my daughter! So, if you want to save $700 worth of dealership fees, go see Donald, nicknamed Duck, at Crown Buick! Caitlin was nice at Legacy, btw. However, saving $700 at Crown Buick was much nicer! Also, I bought the new SUV last Wednesday, and Duck called me today to let me know that my plate is already here. Best of luck to all buying vehicles and buyer beware!

My first contact with Legacy Buick GMC for my current purchase was through email. It was quickly responded to by Roger Johnson, who worked with me in pricing out the truck my wife and I desired purchasing. Once the accessories and price were agreed to, he set up a time for my wife and I to meet with him to place a down payment. Once the truck was ordered, Roger kept us updated regarding its delivery. When it arrived (much earlier than originally anticipated), my wife was unable to go to the dealership to sign the paperwork as she had injured herself in the yard. Roger worked out a way for me to pick up the truck and for him to come to our home so that we both could sign the documents. All in all, dealing with Roger Johnson was a pleasure.

Service department top notch, my truck went in for a check engine light I called the day before for an appointment and they got me in and pinpointed a fuel issue within 30 mins( which is why you should bring your vehicle to a professional that specializes in your model instead of throwing time and money away on parts changing) they gave me the rundown on the issue and we moved forward on repairs, the service manager said he could have it ready by that evening but exceeded my expectations and had it ready several hours earlier. The thing that stood out the most to me was good communication, the questions I had were awnswered in terms of understanding and I was contacted if any other issues were noted, they have earned my business in the near future

I brought my 2016 Verano in due to a rattling noise coming from the front right area of the car that sounded like a loose panel or cover either in the fender well or under the car. Legacy checked the vehicle thoroughly and reported that a loose panel had been found and tightened and they also ordered a new grille due to a broken piece. Two days later, the new part was installed and the rattle could no longer be heard. Yesterday, I noticed something that looked like a small piece of paper sticking out from under the right front wheel well. I pulled on it. Out came a tightly folded piece of shop towel that had been jammed between two pieces of plastic panel. And now the rattle is back. A trained mechanic with access to every Buick vehicle diagram and part decided that the best way to stop these two panels from rattling was to jam a shop towel in between them. Maybe there was a connecting clip that was supposed to be there, maybe a panel retainer was missing, either way, you can bet that jam a rag in it isnt in the list of recommended repairs. Id love to hear someone explain how it might have just been some road debris that I picked up that folded itself and flew into (and got stuck) in the precise location where two panels overlap.
