Please is a ripp off dont go overthere, my was aver heating and they ask me to leave the car and they call me after to tell me they have to pay 85 dollars por pressure test, i said ok .they never called me back to give me report. After two hours, i went back, i saw my car in the parking lot. When i asked them whats wrong, they told me, my head gasket was burn and they overcharge me 85 dollars for nothing.please dont go overther, ripp off.

Be aware. These guys unreliable. They do shady job and overcharge people.I needed to fix leaky brake and discharged air conditioning systems in my 2006 Toyota Sienna.For air conditioning systems I came three times. At first, they charge me $250 and in three days it was no more cooling. Next visit they charged $247 and in a couple days I got the same result. I came again with the same problem, and they said it will cost me $700 more. I took my car to my mechanic in Arlington Heights, and it cost me $137. Weeks passed, and the cooling system work fine.With my brake system, at first, they change my faulty brake switch for $150. In couple days I noticed that braking fluid leaking, and the car does not brake. I brought my car to Main Auto. They said that my brake line burst (old car) and this fix will cost me $1170. I towed the car to the mechanic, I know for years (but his location is 7 mi away), and for $162 this job was done right. It passed two weeks, my car ran and brake fine.

Got my struts and sway bar link replaced on the front passenger and driver side for my 2011 Nissan Altima.Needless to say, Zee and Ace are nice guys and got my work done nicely. The vehicles suspension feels better now than before I got the struts and sway bar links replaced.Inexpensive rates compared to some other shops in the area, I will definitely be returning to get other work done with them!Professional, helpful, and quality work.

Their mechanic replaced a radiator (costed around $200) for my car and it still wasnt running. Then they charged me for $800 for a new one. Finally, they gave me $50 to sell my car to them. That place is beyond unprofessional and they have a disrespectful attitude.

Very satisfied with the work and turnaround time. Visited main and auto for a sign that was on my dashboard. I pulled in to the lot and was told to find parking somewhere. No greeting or asking me whats wrong. I then found parking in their overcrowded lot and parked my car waited in the lobby for someone to come but no one helped for at least 20-25 minutes. I then proceeded to to go near the mechanics to ask for help but they told me to wait in the lobby. Finally after 30 minutes of waiting someone from the back office asked me what I needed and I told them about my unusual sign on my dashboard. He then told me in a very rude voice We cant check you car right now we are too busy dealing with other important issues. I was in shock on if they treat their customers like this how do they treat our cars when its in for service. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. NO HELP AT ALL!!

Zee was very honest! Left the dealer with my 2004 Acura TL and they told me my alternator was really bad and could go out any minute. I came to main auto service for a second opinion and they told me my alternator was fine!! No need to replace it! Glad I got a second opinion! I would totally recommend this place for car services and trust these guys completely!

These are guys are amazing! I took my car in on Sunday after my front bumper got smashed. They were able to give me a fair and very affordable quote right away for a brand new front bumper installation and paint.Ace made sure to match the paint EXACTLY on my car and even though they were pretty busy Ace updated me throughout the whole time on when it would be ready.They also took it for a test drive just to make super sure everything was working fine.I appreciate the thoroughness and this is definitely the new place I’ll be taking my car to for all issues! Woke up one morning and not one but two of our cars had flat tires with multiple nails in each one! In a state of panic as we all had to get to work within the next half hour... Main Auto sent someone over to pick up the tires and get them repaired in no time! Beyond impressed by the customer service they offer. It was a 10/10 experience and I have recommended every friend, family member and coworker to get any and all work done by these well experienced and professional gentlemen.

Ace was awesome at helping me out after I blew a radiator hose on 94. They replaced the hose and checked to make sure nothing else was wrong with the cooling system. Turns out the fan relay was bad and they were able to fix that and get me on my way in just over a hour.

These are new owners. The work was done as per the estimate. When I dropped off the car, I asked about Yuri, the previous owner. I also asked if there was was a new owner. The co owner, Ace, dodged the question. When I picked up the car, I asked again. His brother told me they had been owners for 2 months. He said what mattered was their quality work.I am not sure I will return.

Fast and reliable service! I brought in my car for a whistling noise while holding onto my brake and a check engine light. Ace explained that they will diagnose the problem and give me an update. They diagnosed it and found the two were related. They replaced my brake booster and I havent had problems since. I highly recommend this place for all repairs.

Been coming here for awhile, Ace is super flexible and able to get what I need done fast and right. Told them I wanted to get a new exhaust to make my Eclipse sound big and knowing Ace, I knew he was the guy. Dropped my car off, gave them my keys and 3 hours later I walked up to my former sounding lawn mower of a car, and heard it purr for the first time. I couldnt believe it was the same car that I dropped off but the guys at main auto made it happen. GREAT prices and great work every time no matter the job. I was stuck stranded on a flat tire without a spare wheel I called main auto literally the only shop available on a Sunday in my area within 20 minutes one of the shop workers showed up with a spare wheel to get me to the shop they inspected my vehicle and noticed 2 other tires had nails in them (my luck) arsalan the shop owner offered me a deal I couldnt refuse 4 brand new tires at a unbeatable price! Brought my car in before I went to Florida last month they told me every thing that it need they fixed it and made sure it was okay to go on the road. I had no transportation home so I waited because they said it should take bout an hour.For 30 min I watched them converse, smoke, and talk on the phone. Finally after an additional 25 min of screwing around they finally began replacing the part. When finished they gave me a total of $200 above what they quoted me because they tried to charge me an additional hour of labor claiming the car had been there in the bay for over the one hour limit.To which I agreed it had been the bay however no one laid a finger on the car until literally 20 min prior, and to boot their own sign details that labor is ONLY $150 an hour.This is the final incidentI will NOT be bringing my vehicle here again.Theyve over charged me in the past all of which Ive challenged and they did refund, however the fact remains they cheat you from jump.They even sold me the SAME part three times and charged me labor for EACH installment till on the third visit I became so irate at the fact that I was constantly replacing the same part ( within weeks of each other), I yelled only for the mechanic to react and admit that the part is constantly being replaced at my cost will continue to fail because the motor controlling keeps burning it out. So my question was why are we not replacing the motor to which the mechanic responded well that will save you all these labor costs..... REALLY??????!!!!!!ALL OUT CROOKSYes the other mechanics are expensive in Skokie however, at least at Nick and Ernies and G&G they dont rape you like these guys do!!!!Main AutoMASSIVE LYIN CROOKS!!!!!!!

Took in car to get brake lines replaced. They were replaced in few hours, but had not been bled. I returned a few days later and told them to fix it; they told me to wait 2 hours. I came back after 3 hours and they had not even started. It was finally done after a few more hours. However, after leaving I noticed the engine cover screws were not placed correctly and there was a rag on the engine. Kept giving excuses for not finishing on time, such as needing 4 people to bleed the brakes and not having the correct tools.

Went in to get a timing belt and water pump done on my Lexus. Not only did they do it for half the price of the dealership but they went ahead and changed out a bulb that was out as well as other minor stuff free of charge! Plus the owner Ace bought me lunch out of pure kindness.Lets be real it aucks spending money on your car no matter what but with the qualit work and the AMAZING customer service- not only will I only come here but so will every car owned by my family.Honest and well priced !!

The shop is now under new ownership. The new owner lied to me when I called and said Yuri was on vacation, and repeated it when I came it. Only when I pressed him as to when Yuri is coming back (when he asked for a deposit on a brake job!) he admitted that the business was sold. I dont know anything about the new owners or what kind of a job they do, but Im not going back because I cant trust someone who already lied to me.
