41st street auto has highly professional service with excellent customer service. Helped me install my amp and sub to my new car and made sure everything looked clean and helped add custom frames to keep everything tidy. Have had 0 problems. Highly recommend!!! Deserves 5 star rating all day each day! Truly fabulous craftsmanship and quality work! Will come back in the future on my next car for sure!

I’ve never been so impressed with an auto place. As a female, I always worry about being pressured into things I don’t really need or small fixes blown out of proportion. BUT they did not pressure me into anything but what I came for and gave me a sheet with some upcoming general maintenance I’d have to do soon. I LOVED how absolutely casual this was. Will definitely be back.

Great mechanic work friendly staff great prices

My 2005 Jeep Libertys power steering pump went out as well as needing several other repairs. They fixed everything up and went the extra mile to track down an oddball part that was needed. We are happy with the work and very happy to have our second vehicle back.

This place is a joke. If you want your vehicle in worse condition bring it here! My vehicle was in and out of this shop for past 4 months and I have had nothing but issues after issues with my vehicle. They are very unprofessional and leave dirty work rags under your hook. Dont place parts in correct area and zip tie them under your hood. After returning my vehicle in worse condition this last time and telling me to continue to drive it I parked it. Made a new appointment at a different shop they got it in and called to inform me it was a mess. They had Transmission control module in wrong spot and zip tied, as well as pins bent, and wires messed up. They were nice enough to let me know that its so bad now it needs to hit a transmission shop. Here are the pictures of the messes this screwed up place left me. STAY AWAY!!!!

Needed to have my leaky gas tank replaced. I ordered my own high quality tank and brought the parts to 41st automotive. After 4 hours all switched . Cost me around $350. I shall keep going back these guys help me on my lack of equipment and tools to repair correctly.

Hands down the best auto repair shop I have ever been to I had been having a problem with my car intermittently not starting and had it at 3 different shops in the past month and spent a bunch of money with no fix so of course on a Saturday it acted up again this time it would not start after sitting there for a hour I looked across the street and seen someone go into 41st Street Automotive so I went over to see if they could help me out I went in and the owner greeted me and was very polite I knew they were closed but I asked if he had any ideas he said he would grab a couple of things and come to my car he hooked some things up did a couple things and said your key fob is bad we see this a lot on your type of vehicle he asked if I had another fob I didn’t of course so we called the dealership and they had one he gave me a ride to the dealership to buy a key fob he let me use his discount so I bought 2 and paid for them I insisted he let me pay him retail price but he wouldn’t let me we went back to my car he grabbed a couple of things from the shop because the fobs had to be programmed he programmed both keys and car started right up I haven’t had a problem since I tried paying him for the time and programming and he wouldn’t let me just said I’m glad I could help you out and if you ever need any other services give us a call I guess the moral of this story is they were closed on a Saturday and he could have said we’re closed but he didn’t he went above and beyond thank you so much 41st street automotive!

I have been to several other shops in Sioux Falls trying to figure out my car with no fix and several hundred dollars wasted I was referred to 41st Street Automotive they figured out my car in no time and cost less than 100 dollars as a single mom money is tight thank you 41st street you guys are great.

Fair, Honest, local, and great value

I am a female, most of the time what I feel is wrong with the car gets ignored. This place not only listened to my concern but they triple checked and further diagnosed an issue Ive been having with my car without charging me for it. Will be going back!

As I cannot give lower than a 1 star I guess I will have to leave it as that. All those glowing reviews were obviously from the FORMER OWNERS! THEY HAVE A BANNER THAT SAYS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT (OR OWNERS). I dont remember. I had coupons for an oil change and tire rotation. I brought in my van and daughters car for this service. I got mine done only to find out that they didnt bother to rotate the tires. The guy behind the counter said You have to ask for that. I said it was on the coupon! Then he said that it didnt need it! WTH!! I paid for it. Who was he not to do it. Then I said he needed to do it to my daughters car. What they didnt tell us was that she had one bad tire. So they rotated it from the back to the front making it almost impossible to drive the hour drive to our home. Save your money, time and frustration. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS. THEY ARE CROOKS!!!! They had our cell phone number. They called about my air filter, which they replaced. That was the only good thing I can say about them. YES, THEY ARE CROOKS!!

Honest and do great work

Dave and the crew always treat me very well, explain what is wrong with my car in terms that I can understand, and charge me reasonably for everything. I have never had any problems and this is by far the best car shop I have ever been to! I will continue bringing all my car business here because I have never received better service and attention every time I come in.
