J&L is all about business. You simply come in, fill out the necessary paperwork, take an oral drug test, and tell them what kind of job youre interested in. Was offered the job for a van driver,I attended a couple hours of orientation which they supposedly pay you for.But after t hat I decided to not continue with the job for my own personal reasons. My gripe is they owe me a check for those couple hours of orientation and I get jerked around when I call to ask about it.This from early march now.

So far this place is a good way to find a job fast plus they have transportation available if you dont have a vehicle to get to work. So far I havent had any bad experience with the staff members, alI i know Is the ones Ive came across were very nice to me and helpful when I had a question.

We all got a note that says we have to pick up our checks between 4:30pm and 7pm. The lady left at 6:30 so i was unable to grab my check. If u guys cant respect the times u give us then either fix the times or drop off the checks at there designated places

To be honest I’m so disappointed today .You guys charge $20 to send w2 for to be mailed, I already legally changed my current address And your customer service people very disrespectful and unprofessional, When I told them I’m moved, she said I have to pay $20 for mailing, I never heard when a company charge for mailing,she don’t have any respect.i actually used to work part time thereI’m currently architecture student about to graduate.When go inside the office those customers service people thought that they are so educated and those employees are just stupid .everybody has different story and you should respect people, ya customer Service people probably get hired by high school diplomas.

The staff at J & L think you owe them something for doing their job. I tripped over a pallet at what used to be Cloverleaf and fell on my hip. I made a report about it and let Nancy know at J & L. She told them to take a report. Two days later I’m at J &L when Aresella asked me how I was doing, I said fine.Well fast forward, I started having pain in my hip when I payed on my left side. I went to the emergency room because I couldn’t walk. They asked me what happened, so I told them. The doctor referred me to the ortho doctor for a shot in the hip. Aresella says if we not gonna pay for that. You were supposed to call me! Who goes to a temp service when they can’t walk? I went to the doctor like any normal person. She said to come talk to her and when I got there she was gone!!! This is why people have trouble trusting jobs and managers, because all they do is lie.

Not professional at all. They think were demaning of a job when we go in there but i was only simply doing what there prompted text told me to do. I wanted a better second job but J&L cant work around my schedule. Interviews where at a certain time and was while Id be working my full time job and told them I couldnt come then and thats why Im here now. And they had to say was sorry then.Wont return and will be referring people to short staff and Aventure. They work around peoples life and schedule to make it fit.Ps. Got the whole conversation if needed to be seen.
