The guy was super friendly. Called when he said he would and had my car done within the time frame he gave me. After picking my car up though, there was still an issue that I felt he could have at least mentioned to me when I picked the car up. It has been fixed and all is good but still a little salty. Did he fix what I asked him to fix? Yes and the service was good. I guess dont expect an extra mile kind of deal.

So incredibly pleased with these guys. I had a number of issues with my car and Firestone quoted me $1,200 for my repair. I’m so glad I took my car elsewhere because GoodDeal did everything and more for $650!Jacob at the front counter was very helpful and has excellent customer service skills. He squeezed me in last minute and assured me they would be able to repair my car for much less.I’m impressed at how quickly they got me taken care of and so happy with how much money I saved. I’ll never go anywhere else!

I have been having the team at GoodDeal service my cars for over 7 years. They ave ALWAYS been honest with me about the repairs needed on my vehicles. As a single woman, I trust them to give me an accurate picture of what is necessary and needing to be fixed on my car ASAP and what is a good idea but, can wait until a later date. I am usually skeptical about local shops because I have had bad experiences in the past. GoodDeal Auto has lifted that skepticism and I trust them with everything they do to my vehicle. Every time I go in they are very professional and nice at the front desk and are willing to answer all of my questions.They also provide very quality work. They have been capable of all the repairs and services I have gone in with. They even go above and beyond. I went in for an alignment a few weeks ago and they fixed a broken panel on my cars interior without me even mentioning it.Another bonus that comes along with them... they really are a good deal. Their prices are much lower than other places in KC even with their great service. I believe my fully synthetic oil change was about $55-60 here when it is usually near $70.They have done a great job so far and I will continue to go to them. The only complaint I have is their lack of parking. There isnt much space to park in front of or on the side of their building but their prices and service really trump the 5 mins of inconvenience. I really appreciate their work!

Dangerous! place do not attempt to take your vehicle here.This shysters do not care about you, or your safety on the road, absolutely dishonest, dubious and very unprofessional.They will put anything in your vehicle just to get you off the shop and rip you off your money. They have no clue what they are doing......Took our newly purchased Range Rover sport here, for a lower Control Arm replacement, this shop did a shamelessly shoddy job. Installed substandard parts, left axle was left loose, causing left front left bearing and the wheel hub to fail, consequently Brakes could not engage due to no contact. vehicle veered off the road dangerously!!Worst of all they lied they did a wheel alignment and charged me for this while they did not.Jacob one of the guys here, lied to me it was done only thing they could not do was a steering angle reset that i should take to the dealer. Did not provide alignment results.FYI...steering Angle reset is part of the alignment.Called spoke to James, who showed not sort of empathy or willingness to fix their mess. He tried to fool around with lame excuses and finally hung up the phone.Please be warned...Do not let this guys touch your vehicle... Run away!!!

I went to this shop due to my car idling and catching hard. I had recently gone somewhere else and got an oil change and new tires with an alignment -- so i was unsure why my Jeep was kicking. The people at this shop were very friendly and knowledgeable. They listened intently to my concerns and made sense of my ramblings (as i know very little about cars) and without hesitation -- looked at my car and helped me out! I am very satisfied with the time of repair and price. I had my car towed in late Friday afternoon and received a call Saturday mid morning that it was ready to go. Very pleased with price, turn around time AND that they explained everything up front. I will return for sure!!

Took my car in for a simple flat repair and new wiper blades and ac was running cool as could be. Magically now my ac blows HOT air and even after a freon coolent charge will not work. Be hesitent of this shop as something is off as when we called up there to ask why they said we could get a free ac check but knowing better i think i will find a better shop.

I got an alignment done on my Hyundai about 1 month ago. under $70. Crew was legit. Timing was pretty quick considering I made the appointment the evening before. My car is still driving straight. Wifes happy, Im happy.

Beware! A car Being Serviced by GoodDeal Auto Service was left blocking a dock door at a business on Private Property! With Signs clearly posted by the property owner. Warning vehicles parked or left on property will be towed at owners expense. After waiting hours for the vehicle to be moved.The property owner called to have the car Towed. It was a Oakes Auto Sales car that only ran for less than 3 blocks after repairs GOOD DEAL?

I brought my car in after going to ford. Ford gave me an unreasonable quote so I called Gooddeal and was quoted a much better price. So I brought it in and was told it was a whole other problem which was even more expensive than ford. So my elderly mother on a fixed income ended up paying $1700 to repair a bering. Now I dont know about cars but I do know that the problem I came in there with is still occuring and I even brought it back! My question is what exactly did $1700 fix because it wasnt my car. Thats alot of money to spend to have to drive a car that you are afraid to drive. I dont want to accuse someone of being dishonest or taking advantage of 2 women who know nothing about cars but my car isnt fixed and we are out of $1700!

Went to 4 shops to get running balbs replaced.$65 to $85 because I had a brush guard on Tahoe. Just stopped by this Better Deal and in less then 10 minutes he replaced them while I watched.... $10.... Amazing!!!

Ive been a customer for five years and every time I go there I am treated very well. They work with you by prioritizing the repairs you need to keep you running if you cant afford it all. The staff is kind, prompt with super technicians thatll explain to you in detail about what theyve done. Only gripe I had was a brake light that was stuck on after I left but that was minor they warranty all their work.

These guys are the bees knees. They know exactly what theyre talking about, wont try to upsell you on unnecessary repairs, and will offer the best customer service you can ask for!

Not sure how this place has as good of a rating as it does. They completely screwed me over when I brought my car into them. My car ended up needing a transfer case replacement. Ok cool, no biggie. That was covered under warranty. I left my car there while on vacation for 2 weeks. When I got in my car and started it I noticed my check engine light was suddenly on. I went back inside and was told I had to have them pull it back in and diagnose it AGAIN. So I waited close to 2 hours for them to diagnose it to tell me it was something with my plugs of some sort. I don’t claim to know a lot about cars but I definitely felt something was off. How is this suddenly an issue? I asked (politely) if there was a chance that maybe something happened when they were replacing my transfer case. I was assured that there was no way it could have been from that because the two parts were nowhere near one another and that it could have been from it sitting for so long without running (??) or that it “just happened.” SO, $260+ later it was fixed and I was off. Fast forward a couple months my car is still shuddering/jolting/slipping whenever I’m driving or my car is shifting gears. I took my car to a different shop this time and was told they’d have to drain the fluids from my transfer case to see what’s going on. I wanted to call back Good Deal to check about this since I had just got my transfer case replaced in October I thought it was overkill to have to already replace the fluid, right? Well Good Deal assured me (yet again) that they didn’t do any draining or filling or fluid because the “transfer case already came filled.” After speaking to several mechanic friends they had their doubts stating they’ve never heard of a transfer case coming WITH the fluid in it due to it being heavy AND sitting on a shelf with the potential to oxidize.... I gave the new shop the go-ahead to drain to get a deeper look at what could potentially be the issue and what do you know.... my transfer case had MAYBE an ounce of fluid in it. With no sign of leakage to blame it on or pin it to. I was informed there should be at least a liter. After they so kindly filled the fluids in the transfer case and test drove it, my car is driving at 95% normal. I’m just so disappointed in the carelessness of their actions (or lack thereof.) I have never had such a poor experience at any place in my entire life. Car trouble is already stressful for the average joe because of the money and the trust you must put into a complete stranger and hope they are doing their best and treating each customer as fair as possible. I’m lucky enough that this mistake was able to be salvaged by another more reputable car shop.

These guys are awesome. very easy to book an appointment, they welcome you at the door and get right to work. took my car in for an alignment last week and in 30 mins they were done. car drives straighter than an arrow. they also made it very clear that once i got new tires the will re-align it for free. yesterday i took my car in for an oil change and head light repair. 30 mins later they were done and even vacuumed out my car and reset my dash light. also upon repairing those 2 things they let me know my water pump was out. diagnosed it for free. DIDNT PRESSURE ME INTO AN UPSELL WHICH IS HUGE FOR A MECHANIC. did everything i asked in a timely manner. will refer them to all family and friends who need auto work. THANK YOU GOOD DEAL FOR BEING THE BEST THERE IS!

TJ is the guy that has worked on my car multiple times in the past couple months. I have had the same problem with my car since theyve started. First I just need a jump start. Second they replaced the battery. Third they replaced my key because I had a chip missing, but the same problem remains. My car shuts off while Im driving, which is dangerous and especially when I have a one year old in the backseat. I called him and spoke to him to let him know that the problem still hadnt been fixed. I wasnt rude or nasty by any means! He said to me it isnt my problem. Sounds to me like you need a new mechanic and proceeded to hang up in my face. I was willing to give him a chance to honestly correct the issue until then. My partner called after I did and she received the same treatment. And she referred me to them and had been taking her car to them! I will NEVER send them my business or anyone elses.

I have been going to Goodeal Auto since I first met James the owner at an auto part store. I was standing in line paying for a part and we struck up a conversation about what I was doing. I was unsure about one the steps to replace the alternator. He told me the answer and introduced himself and said he was moving his auto repair shop to a new location in Merriam.A few months later I ended up using him to replace a water pump in my daughters Honda Accord.James is the most honest,forthright individual that you can find in auto repair business. I will recommend their shop to anyone who asks. Everyone I have sent to Gooddeal Auto has thanked me.
