Humidistat does not read correctly. multiple attempts to get then to fix it but they keep sending the same guy who says nothing is wrong. If my thermostat and humidity sensors shows 45-50% then why does my furnace show 70-80%?? That seems like an issue to me.Now that its winter I have a similar issue where it read 35+ but indoor sensors say 15. A 20% humidity difference is a huge deal.In the spring Im going to have another HVAC company look at it.Oh and this wasnt the only issue-In my brand new house the water heater had to be replaced twice due to bad installs and the vent running to my master bedroom didnt work because they didnt install the system right which required them to pull up all my living room carpet to fix it.Their phone assistants are always nice, but based on the issues Ive seen with them to this point I couldnt recommend them.

Want to work if constant fear of being fired? Shortfalls in the office get blamed on the guys in the field, and expect overtime wont being paid.Concerned with safety? Youll get berated at a Christmas party for not wearing PPE by the safety guy who never told me anything about PPE requirements, or anyone else.

Issues on two projects. First, Elander installed the new HVAC system in my new home incorrectly, causing problems immediately. Second, Elander installed a garage heater and stated via email they will need a full day, beginning at 7am. Well the job only took 4 hours, they werent able to run the gas line in the ceiling as stated and instead it is shown visibly all the way through my garage. When I asked about a cost adjustment since it took half the on-site time as described, they got verbally upset and told me that I was dishonest. They then called it flat pricing, a term that was never stated in the proposal. If someone says a job will take a full day, beginning at 7am and then it only takes 4 hours, should you pay for a full day? The cost per hour was extremely high in my view (something other reviews have also stated). I ended up paying full price to stop them from literally yelling at me.

Tom and his crew are absolutely the best you will find in the industry. This is a family owned business that never fails to impress. The work is always done perfectly and the customer service is outstanding. We have had AC and plumbing work performed by Elander Mechanical. They will always be our first and only call. I recommend them every time to my friends, neighbors, and coworkers. Stop searching the web and call Elander Mechanical now.

Elander did an awesome job of helping us work through a very frustrating situation with our AC unit. They took time to LISTEN, to explain, and to provide options. Our issue was fixed today by Matt (thank you!).I wanted to highlight their whole group - we really had great experiences with everyone even though we were dealing with a very frustrating manufacturer issue, and worked with several people through this.I really appreciate the understanding (and patience) this team had for us as we were dealing with our AC issues. I would definitely recommend Elander!

Furnace went out tonight (-35°) and house dropped 10° in an hour. Called Elander and had field guy at my house in 45 minutes and the issue was fixed. Nick provided good customer service over the 24/7 emergency hotline. Matt did a great job fixing the issue. Thank goodness, they saved us big time!

Weve used Elander (most times Russ) to complete an annual service/check, and hes been great at explaining everything he did and what we could do with the settings to make the system work most efficiently. Then just yesterday the heat went out. I called and they were able to have him come out within a few hours to fix the issue. He also mentioned using the fireplaces to provide the heat if it happened again.Overall, great service & response, friendly & knowledgeable service personnel. Theyre our go-to company for HVAC.

Ive had Elander Mechanical out to my house many times. They ALWAYS meet my expectations but this past visit Kurt was absolutely outstanding. He listened to what I wanted and my concerns about my drinking water. He sat on hold with the company that made my whole home water purification system to talk about how it works. He fixed my kitchen drinking water to quit ruining my Kuerig and coffee makers. Also a shout out to Nick for reviewing my photo images of debris in my water and getting Kurt out right away. Just a fabulous company.

We scheduled Elander to come out and look at our air handler as one of our tubes had condensation on it. We just passed our 1 year warranty date and because they were out here previously to fix another problem we had (that fell under warranty) they did not charge us for this service trip. The service guy was very nice and explained what the problem was/what he did to fix it. He also locked the door behind him when he left (we have a Schlage smart lock), which I appreciated! They were quick to get us on the schedule and we really appreciated the no-charge for this service visit especially since we have had problems with the air handler in the past that did fall under warranty. Highly recommend Elander - they have been great to work with!

I have had good service and repairs with this company. The service manager was professional and what he said happens. Just moved to the area and I will be sticking with them for Hvac needs!

$219 for 5 minutes of work. And that includes $0 in parts which were under warranty. $150 for labor and a $69 truck fee! Outrageous! Especially when I couldn’t get an appointment until they had a truck in the area. But I will say the service rep who did the repair was very nice. So i just bumped this from 1 star to 2.

I thought I had a problem with my furnace (the problem was with at the gas company) and I called Elander before hours on a Friday morning. I had a call back within minutes and someone scheduled for later that morning. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I needed my plumbing checked for some large water bill issues I was having in my new construction home. I called Elander twice that day. Once to leave a message to return my phone call to have them come out and look at my plumbing and I never received a call back. I did call them back later that afternoon, and they said they would talk to my builder and call me back. They never called me back. I called them back to schedule the apt and they agreed to come out to my property to check my plumbing 1 week later, at 7:30AM.t 8AM on the day of the set apt, they said they never scheduled the apt and told me nothing was wrong with my home. They further stated if they come to my home and there is nothing wrong: They would charge me for their visit. My home is under warranty with the builder and with my large water bill issues ($400+++ each month since I moved in), I was very confused. So I attempted to have my issue resolved with my plumbing: I then tried to schedule an apt, I had an apt scheduled, they did not show to my apt, I had to call and ask for another apt. They told me nothing was wrong with my home (but yet NEVER came out, not once) and that I have to pay for them to come to my home and tell me that in person. They are extremely unprofessional, rude and disrupted my life for a very long time. They need to not worry so much about their large builders and contractors, and help the consumer that PURCHASES the product and help service us pions that also matter. I am so very upset by the way I was treated. Granted I am a woman and do not have a plumbing degree of any sort, but I should not be treated so horribly for something clearly wrong with my home.

October 2016Russ was scheduled today to complete 90 day warranty work for Lennar Builder at my home. Since we recently had to turn the heat on, we were experiencing a ticking noise in the ductwork that was extremely annoying. Russ adjusted one of the trunk lines and it appeared to be fixed. Then he found another issue with the constant bath fans, which work as air exchangers for the home. He had to take each unit out of the ceiling and rewire it, because the electrician made a mistake at the time of the initial install. It was a good catch by Russ because this would have shortened the life of the fans and wasted a lot of energy. He explained all of the working aspects for the furnace, air conditioner and humidifier. I feel much more educated and confident with these components in my new home. Thanks Russ!January 2017The ticking and knocking in the ductwork started up again and was more constant. It was interrupting sleep and extremely annoying. I reached out to Nick (Service Manager) at Elander, and he personally came out to try to fix the issue with the exposed ductwork that he could get at. Adjustments were made, however the ticking and knocking did not stop. Nick made arrangements for he and Russ to come back to my house. They opened up the floor to get at the root problem and fixed it for good! The first night during the winter that there was no knocking or ticking in the ductwork. Elander went above and beyond. Excellent work gentlemen!
