We have been without our refrigerator for five months! The first visit the technician said it was because of the ice maker. After that the technician said it was different parts. When he couldn’t blame it on parts he said the previous tech didn’t do something that should have been done. Overall the tech still hasn’t fixed our refrigerator! Either Sears just doesn’t care or the techs are incompetent. Sears resets the clock every time they replace a part so they say it has only been two visits instead of SEVEN we waiting for the EIGHTH time!
We were without a refrigerator for over a month!!! When we initially called in, they didnt have any opening for 2 weeks. When the tech finally made it out, he determined the compressor was the problem. He didnt have the part with him, but it was available about 30 minutes away. He said he didnt have time to go get it and had it overnighted to us. That would have been fine except he scheduled us another 2 weeks out to return to install the new compressor.
