We had the best adventure. Our pilot Mark was very professional but also so funny. The sun coming up over the rim was phenomenal and our ride over the rock was exciting. We had a perfect take off and landing.if you looking to take a balloon ride Red Rock and Mark is the way to go.

This was an AMAZING experience!! Fazzi was our pilot and he was a perfect combination of funny and fact. He made all of us (even though we were super nervous) feel safe! The views were spectacular and I can’t even describe seeing the sunrise from the sky! We met up with Phil’s group for a toast at the end of our adventure, and together they were a hilarious team. We toasted and got a champagne glass to take home!Highly recommend.

I came up from Phoenix for the Labor day weekend. This was on my bucket to ride in a hot air balloon. No better place to do it, but over Sedona.!🌄🏜🍾The pilot fozzy was experienced and kept us laughing the whole flight. We had a champagne toast at the end.

The experience was super cool, however, we started at 5:30 am, didn’t have a bathroom the whole experience and then our guide went an additional 30 minutes out of the way in order to drop one couple first, when we were 1 mile from everyone else’s cars. Didn’t make much sense.

We loved our balloon ride! I was very impressed with the whole process. Our balloon pilot, Mark, picked us up on time in the designated spot. It was approximately 4:20 AM. We got in the van and drove out to the launch site which was about 10 minutes. Then the crew set about blowing up the hot air balloon. This took about 30 minutes. The crew knew the process and were very efficient and quick. There were 12 people in our balloon. The basket had little sections which were perfect for our group of 3. Our take off was smooth and the ride was smooth as well. Throughout the ride, our pilot, Mark, gave us a lot of information, answered questions, and entertained us! He also communicated with the other balloon pilot about the best winds throughout the ride. Our landing was smooth and the crew set about packing everything up which took about 30 minutes. It was very impressive. We then went to a picnic breakfast where they had mimosas, muffins, and fruits. They told us some stories about the history of ballooning, had merchandise available for purchase, and took payment. It was a very smooth and enjoyable process!

We had a Blast on our Red Rocks Balloon flight over Sedona this past Saturday! This flight was a gift for my husbands birthday and he said it was the Icing on his birthday celebration. Mark S. was an awesome pilot! He was professional, funny and very informative, telling us information of Sedona and the areas we flew over. If youre ever in Sedona, this is a great experience!

Absolutely amazing time. If your second guessing it die to fear oh height, just.go for it. The balloon is super safe and incredibly smooth. Our pilot Mark was very knowledgeable and a ton fun to fly with.

This is an absolute MUST! The ride is amazing and the people who run it are a hoot! The other balloon company starts their rides south of the red rock canyon (which is lame) but Red Rock Balloons starts you in the Red Rock Canyons of Sedona! Do this!!!

Came here specifically via Red Rock Balloons for an awesome hot air balloon ride! Staff all very friendly, professional, and knowledgable.You start your journey at 4:30am to catch the sunrise so bring something to keep you warm for the cool morning.Learned way more about hot air ballooning than I expected which was cool! Got to see some wild life from a distance and just beautiful views all around. Our guide let us know ahead of time every ride is different because it is all based on the wind patterns at that moment, but still worth it!Free champagne glasses at the end!COVID:Our only issue was that wearing masks was encouraged but not enforced. We were the only people wearing masks throughout balloon ride.

I can’t comment on the ballon ride experience itself with this company because they never responded to my multiple emails requesting a booking. They never picked up the phone either, which I tried as a last resort. This is very uncommon for me with any business - whether or not you’re inundated with an influx of requests, at least send an auto-reply indicating you are not accepting reservations at this time due to limited availability/limited staff, etc. -whatever the case is, but don’t just not respond though I see this is a recent trend with this company. Luckily, Rainbow Ryders in Phoenix has online booking and send email confirmations and we are flying in from Phoenix anyway -plus they’re a little cheaper so FYI for those that’ll be in the Phoenix area.

I made reservations in March 2021 for a hot air balloon trip on May 26. I told them that we wanted to make sure we could go. If there was a rain cancellation could we go the next day? I was told yes, both days were available. Our trip to Sedona was planned around this hot air balloon trip.I received a text message informing me that our hot air balloon trip was cancelled in Wednesday due to weather. I then asked about Thursday and they told me that I would be put on a cancellation list. We never got to go!!!!!The phone number that you call states they fly 365 days. I was told after my cancelled trip, that it was more like 220 days.Just a warning to any visitors....Even if you have reservations....you might not go????????Does not seem like good business.Sedona is beautiful but we wont be back!

I’m so happy we did this! I was very nervous about getting on a hot air balloon but Mike (#1) made our ride such a calm and relaxing ride from take off to landing! I had no idea we were off the ground when we took off and he had such a perfect landing we literallly glided right in without an ounce of turbulence. Amazing experience from pick up to drop off. A++ attached are some pretty awesome pics from our ride!

Not only is the restaurant beautiful, the staff and the food are great! The biscuit and gravy was delicious!

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our hot air balloon experience! We were picked up promptly at the time we were told in a text and joined a dozen people. We were able to see how the balloon was set up for flying, which was very interesting to watch. Our guide, Fozzy, provided a great deal of information about the scenery was saw and how the balloon is operated. We then got to watch how the balloon was disassembled. At the end, we were treated to a delicious continental breakfast, including mimosas! I was very comfortable during the duration of the tour, even though I have a little fear of heights. I would definitely go on this tour again! Its a great way to see the beautiful scenery around Sedona from a different perspective!

First of all let me just say that is a MUST do activity if you are visiting Sedona. It will give you a perspective of the amazing scenery you otherwise would not experience. Fozzy was our Pilot and he was really great! He was very knowledgeable and made our experience unforgettable! The views were spectacular and we were right up on the Red Rocks. We saw the competing balloon company and it looked like they were no where near the Red Rocks, so I am so happy we decided to go with this one! They were good about being covid conscious and ensured everyone inside of the balloon basket was wearing a mask. The champagne toast at the end was the cherry of top of this once and a lifetime experience! Thank you so much! We had a blast!

We had an incredible time with Red Rock Balloons! Our pilot, Phillip, was hilarious, professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and an over-all great pilot and guide for the area. We learned so much from him and he makes me want to fly on a balloon at every destination I travel to! This is hands down the best thing to do when you visit Sedona, after you hike all the breathtaking trails that is.

After you listen to a message that is at least 5 minutes long you realise that there is no way to get a hold of anyone personally. You either have to fax or email or you dont get any information. All of their phones go to voicemail which says that they are not taking messages. Very poor way to run a business.

There were no opportunities to ride the balloons - booked solid through June 30th! Would be a great place for a balloon vendor to open a business!

I am not sure how a company can operate when you request information to book 6 people for a balloon ride 2 months in advance, and they do not respond to multiple requests via email and text.6 weeks later: Still not booked for a balloon ride for our May 16 trip to Sedona. We have 6 people interested in a ride, but no response at all from the company. Who operates like this? If they are that busy, wouldnt they hire more people? Just frustrating.

Our pilot, Mark Steward, was the icing on the cake. Mark is funny and has great stories and jokes, so never a dull moment. As a pilot, Mark is a true professional, with 30 years of experience, and he never loses sight of the most important factor...SAFETY. He has the ability to incorporate his vast experiences into a flying adventure that looks very easy but absolutely is not. Mark performed a PRECISION landing...a few feet of skid, a slight bump, and we were stopped and on the ground. Only a highly skilled pilot can accomplish that...my hat is off to you, Mark. THANK YOU. I highly recommend Red Rock Balloons for your Hot Air Balloon Ride when in Sedona. They are very easy to work with when scheduling. Pick up and drop off at Hotel. They were super informative about what to expect prior to take off, the scenery, formations, ballooning, landing, etc. Phillip was our Captain and was a real Pro, punctual, great sense of humor and very knowledgeable. We had a nice champagne mimiosa picnic at the end of the trip. One thing to remember when booking, Red Rock Balloons will only launch if the conditions are safe to do so. Be aware your ride can be cancelled if the weather doesnt cooperate. I know Id rather have them cancel then put me and my family in an unsafe situation. You wont be charged until after your flight just for that reason. Thank you all who assisted with our memorable experience.

My husband and I took a balloon ride on our first wedding anniversary and it was just an amazing experience. Right from getting to see assembling the basket and the hot air filled into the balloon to landing and packing the balloon into the trailer was an experience in whole. The views of the Red Rocks and a total flight of an hour and half was breathtaking.Our pilot Fozzy was a very sweet and humble person and was very informative.We had a great time !

I booked over 2 months in advance. I’ve been calling for over a month to contact someone to see if I can switch days and no one will answer or call me back. There is no way to contact anyone any other way besides the number on the website. I’m now in Sedona and have gone by the location twice each day Saturday and Sunday today and it’s closed. Don’t even know if my balloon ride for Tuesday is even still on? This is ridiculous and horrible customer service!

Not COVID safe. If it wasn’t for that I would rank it higher. They put 13 people in a 14 passenger van and don’t required masks, despite alleging they would. Guides pour the toast while not wearing masks and refill cups that were empty by resting the bottle on the glass. The guide was nice, funny, and knowledgeable.

So, back in 2016 I was lucky enough to marry my wife and for our honey moon, we decided to go to the Arizona desert and Sedona was of course the spot to visit. Part of our tour through the state included a hot air balloon ride with RRB. I wasnt too much about waking up so early after a late night out to hop on a balloon but, my wife was really excited.What. An. Experience.... From start to finish everyone in the company was courteous and reassuring that they knew very well what they where doing. My early morning grogginess gave way to a rise over the desert with the mornings rising sun. The guide took us just over trees and high enough to see the mountains peaking over one after the other all the way to the horizon.Once the trip was done, RRB served some drinks and goodies to eat and they gave us the glasses as souvenirs.We had the glasses on a shelf as reminders of our beautiful trip and one day they FELL AND BROKE!We were a bit sad and then I decided to try to surprise my wife with a replacement. I reached out to RRB to ask them to send me a replacement set and to charge my card. They would not. They sent them but refused to charge me. They understood just how important those glasses were and replaced them and sent them via mail without charging me a dime. Not only will we go on another flight with them when in Sedona, but any good friend has our recommendation to fly with RRB.

Such a wonderful experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history and geology of the area and made the experience that much better. Although I am generally afraid of heights, I felt perfectly safe. Got lots of wonderful photos of the red rocks...

An amazing ride with an amazing crew. Our pilot Phillip was very informative and did a great job from start to finish. Gentle ride over the red rocks of Sedona. We traveled a good distance and covered a lot of ground and I watched the competitions balloons and we definitely got more bang for our buck.This is a ride that everyone would enjoy.

Quick set up and we were off to see the sunrise from the peace and quiet high above. Beautiful vistas and view of rabbits and deer. Landing was so smooth we hardly felt it. Mimosasand light breakfast was the perfect ending. Highly recommend the Red Rock Balloon tours👌

Just got back from my first hot air balloon ride. I have to say it was an AWESOME experience!!! I am so glad my friend and I chose Red Rock Balloons to fly with. Mark was our pilot and did a great job pointing out sights and was very entertaining. Flight was very smooth. Nice champagne breakfast at the end too. They picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel too. Loved every second!! Would highly recommend flying with them if youre going to be in Sedona.

I had high hopes going into this experience, and they were definitely exceeded. The flight itself was relaxing and our pilot was clearly very experienced and knowledgeable. We had a couple of people in our group who are afraid of heights, but both were at ease the whole time because the pilot explained how everything worked as we went. The champagne brunch was high quality and delicious, and the crew was friendly and hilarious throughout the experience. Im not a morning person, but this is worth waking up for!

Best way to see Sedona and the surrounding areas. The crew was very professional and we felt safe throughout the entire experience as we were both first timers. They also had a little picnic with mimosas and muffins after the ride. All in all a great way to see the area.

Our pilot was so funny! Our basket was fully packed and even with that he noticed I was so scared. He made hilarious jokes left and right but when it came down to it and he saw I was genuinely scared he made an effort to comfort me. Im terrified of heights and not being able to escape situations and I 100% recommend this place.

My husband and I got to experience this on my birthday. We went out with Mark aka Fazzi. This guy is so knowledgeable, he handled the balloon like a pro. The two guys assisting him Michael and Chuck were simply amazing. All three of these guys made all of our trip a wow type of experience. This company is very professional and even though we were running late for the arrival Fazzi waited for us and the whole morning was refreshing and the scenery awesome. My husband surprised me with a balloon ride to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We had to walk from our B&B up to a nearby hotel for pick up at 4:40am. They were right on time to pick us up and we drove over to the launch site as we were the last pick up. We signed our waivers on the way.We were not in the basket with our driver but when we arrived at the launch site our pilot showed up with the trailer and his balloon. The workers set up the balloon and started filling it with air using a fan. Shortly after they started filling it with hot air and it began to rise. It was tethered down to the van and they started to load us in. There are 5 sections, 2 on each end and one in the middle where the pilot stands and the tanks of gas are held. There are foot holds to climb into the basket and the workers came around to take pictures for us.It was so peaceful as we lifted off the ground and began to rise into the air. as we lifted above the canyon walls the sun began to peek out over the rocks. Our pilot flew up to 3,000 feet so we could look below. He maneuvered the basket around so we got to see all the amazing sites. After we flew over Doe Mountain we dropped down into the valley and saw rabbits and deer running around.We were up for over an hour and when he identified a landing site the chase vehicles were there to meet us. After they packed up the balloon and basket we drove to a site for a picnic of mimosas, fruit and muffins. We did a toast and the ballooning prayer to say thanks for a safe flight. We were dropped off around 8:30 and walked back to our B&B.

So I didn’t technically get to go up because of the crazy weather but I just had to leave a review because I was so impressed by this company’s customer service. I talked to Allie several times on the phone regarding booking, rescheduling, and rescheduling yet again and she was always so polite and friendly. I spoke to a guy (I’m sorry I can’t remember his name) and he was equally as helpful and friendly. Hopefully next time I visit Sedona I will be able to get up in the air— it was the thing I was most looking forward to on my trip! Thanks guys!

Though I have never been up in a hot air balloon, I have watched countless flights of Red Rock Balloons while driving Jeep Tours for Pink Jeep. Later, when the visitors who floated with Red Rock Balloons took a Jeep tour with Pink Jeep, I had the opportunity to ask them about it. Almost to a person, they said it was one of the most amazing experiences of their lives.

We woke up two days in a row at 5 am. The first day the called us 30 minutes after we had woken up and the second day the drove us 2 hours to then cancel it. Very upset, disappointed, and tired.

A month ago I was able to visit a friend in Sedona, and we both decided to go on a hot air balloon ride. I had called several Balloon companies in that area. I chose Red Rock Balloons for several reasons. When I had called for information, Pat was very personable, and had an enthusiastic insight regarding the adventure that we would part take in.I would have to give Mark, our pilot, an Awesome Rating. He was very friendly, and adventurous himself, explaining what we can expect before, during and after the balloon adventure. He went above and beyond, with the most spectacular ride we could have hoped for. We had great views at sunrise, history of the area, and the workings of the Balloon itself. I highly recommend Red Rock Balloons when visiting Sedona.
