I have had issues with other Enterprise car rentals before and was a little leary of using Enterprise, but they were the only national brand in the Verde Valley.This Enterprise Rent a Car did great. I walked in to rent the car and the guy behind the counter was busy with another customer. An employee heard me come in and raced over to help. A few clicks on his tablet later and I was off. Returning the car was even easier. I barely got it parked when the employee showed up, tablet in hand, inspected the car, checked the fuel level, and pronounced the transaction complete.You could not ask for the entire process to go smoother or more efficient. Very impressed.
They are not open on the weekend, nor do they even allow drop off return on the weekend, which is a peak time for renting. Essentially forcing you to spend more money and rent longer. They also refuse to allow one way rentals so absolutely useless for visitors trying to get back to the airport in Phoenix.

I have rented several times from Enterprise/Sedona recently and gratefully with excellent experiences. Thomas and Isabella have been really helpful and professional. I appreciate their kindness, particularly in the crazy, lock-down environment we have to deal with now.

Our rentals from Sedona airport - a challenge during COVID times. Nevertheless, we got a clean, fresh smelling and safe car at a reasonable price. Everything was timely and there were no surprises

We were rented a car from a different location that was a premier plus when I rented a full sized sedan. They didnt have anything else available for the location. When we arrived the car was dirty & had the windows down. The employee took 5 minutes to clean the car. The inside was disgusting, smelled like smoke, and we were told it needed an oil change before we left to go across the country. The locations that they sent me to could not fit me in that day. So I called customer service and they only found a car that was listed as full sized in Philly along our trip. So, we stopped there and all they had was compact cars to switch to, which wouldnt work. Every location along the way only had vans or compact sedans which wasnt helpful. When we arrived in Sedona on the 9th, I called the local locations and told them the situation & they said they didnt have anything to swap to but they would call me if something came avaliable. We drove past this location many times and they had full sized sedans, so I called again, same response. We stopped in because a Kia Optima had been there for 2 days and hadnt moved. Yet they still couldnt swap us into that. So now we have to drive back across the country in a dirty car during a pandemic that is not properly maintained. Last time I rent from Enterprise, thats for sure.

This is basically the only place to get a rent car in town. Probably great if you are bringing car back to same place you picked it up. Drop off in another city is very expensive. $100+. And crossing state lines is even more. Vehicle was great, clean and fueled.
Made a reservation online this morning they said they had cars. Then went ahead and told my friend Im all good! So he left thinking I was good to go.They called later and said oops sorry we dont have cars so now missing an important meeting worth about 20k. Im also stranded with no way to get back to Phoenix. Beyond disappointed an upset. Whats even more disappointing is how not one employee there seemed to care when I called.

Emma had it handled. Slammed with customers as soon as they opened, it took a little while to get my car sorted out but the car ended up being better than expected. She was busy as heck and still was extremely patient, informative re: insurance (way better than any other car rental Ive experienced) and I was on my way. Two other dudes who apparently worked there were sitting with their hands in their pockets while she did all the work. Hmm. Another couple behind me was informed that their car had been hit in the parking lot the previous night and that they wouldnt get the car they reserved. Guess I got lucky?

It was a really bad experience. They didnt have the car I reserved, or anything even close to it, so I ended up stuck in a truck that I really didnt want with pretty awful gas mileage and ended up spending way more in gas on my trip than I had planned. Not to mention getting the car itself took well over an hour. I called to extend my rental by one day at one point and they said I would have to bring in a card to the office and they would need to charge over 200 dollars additional, for one day. I wasnt near the office so they said to go to any location. The location I went to said they had no idea what the Sedona office was talking about and there was no reason whatsoever to charge me at all let alone that much. The whole experience was really pretty terrible, Ive used enterprise a dozen times, always liked it, but this instance and location was really bad.
My experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car at the Milwaukee airport was excellent. I was given a brand-new upgrade vehicle, and the process was seamless. The staff were both courteous and efficient. I was very pleased with the entire experience.
I had a problem with my car and was unhappy with it, the gentleman at the counter cut me off telling me there was nothing he could do... no apology, didnt take responsibility for the product. His smug attitude was less than appreciated.
Showed up on time to pick up a rental car only be told they were none available. Was offered a chance to go to the airport and pick up a car but the price wasnt guaranteed to be the same. Lucky for me someone walked in with a return right then so I got a car. Not sure about all the other people who were waiting. The staff were doing their best but the system shouldnt make reservations when there arent cars available. From what I understood this is a very common occurrence at this office. Maybe the best thing would be to call the office and be sure they have something available before completing your online reservation. Just wanted to reiterate that the staff were kind courteous and professional it was the situation created by system that earned it 3 stars.

I rent regularly from the Sedona Enterprise location and the customer service representatives are friendly, knowledgeable, and seem to sincerely care about their customers. This office is often extremely busy, and sometimes understaffed. It often takes 20-30 minutes to handle a pick-up or return, so plan accordingly if you intend to rent from this location. My favorite feature of the Enterprise rental experience is the fact that they will pick you up/return you to your home or hotel. I also like their Enterprise Plus rewards program. .

There was inadequate staff both on the pick up and return of my. The original vehicle I requested was unavailable so I had to pay for an upgrade. I waited more than 40 minutes for my upgraded car to be ready.Phones were ringing and people were waiting in line as the lack of staffing made this experience unacceptable.Although the staff tried to make a bad situation better; their efforts were insufficient. The rating should really be zero stars.

Good: People nice. Not Good: They are always overworked/busy, thus typically 15-45 min wait from arrival to departure with car. Have received several dirty (interior and exterior) cars of the hundreds rented from the Sedona location.

Something is wrong. Be forewarned. On a recent vacation we were trying to decide whether to rent out of Sedona, Prescott or Flagstaff. Made a confirmed reservation at Sedona but when I drove over an hour to get there they said there were no cars available. A couple of days later I made another confirmed reservation at Sedona. I called in the morning and they guaranteed to me that I would have a car. I checked in again in the afternoon and they again guaranteed me a car. But when I arrived later there were no cars. After waiting for 20 minutes I was about to leave when one car arrived. They acted that I should feel lucky to have actually gotten a car. Other car rental companies dont act that way.
Make SURE and talk to at least TWO people there via phone for rates/ They can change from agent to agent and also check how to pay for it. A debit card thats OK anywhere in the free world is not good there although Enterprise will rent to 21 year olds............figure that one out. They do have a good selection. Try some major places and see the one or two choices. I guess depends on the time of the season, ect.
Slightly rocky start, which they had no control over, but problems were resolved and the folks all did a great job. would certainly recommend them .

Very disappointed. My husband talked to a very ill-tempered guy who made him spell the zip code of Sedona altough their business is in Sedona. Dont they know their own zip code? And first they said they had a car for us for the whole week and when we asked them to please bring the car to the campground all of a sudden there was no car avsilable. Strange business policy.
We are locals here in West Sedona and occasionally rent from Enterprise when we are taking an out of town trip. Always enjoy the vehicles, service is good and friendly.

There is only one rental car shop in Sedona that has been booked online. I couldnt speak English, so I was thrilled, but the staff was nice and I was able to borrow it somehow. I was relieved because I received a confirmation e-mail several days before the reservation. The car was very beautiful.Gasoline was in half, and when it was returned, it was told to return it to half.Economy car was $ 276 for 3 days including insurance. You can only pay with a credit card. Please check on Sundays because the business hours are short.
