I lived a few blocks from Sugar Sugar for years and admired the cute boutique spa but never visited. Of course I finally did AFTER I moved to the eastside- but now I will always cross the lake to have my eyebrows done! Kelly is fantastic and super sweet. She is the first person to shape my eyebrows so perfectly and intentionally that I have no desire to touch them in between appointments (guilty of this in the past). She has enabled me to trust the process, and my brows keep getting better and better each time I see Kelly. The spa is cute, clean, and appointments are always on time. Easy booking online. I highly recommend Sugar Sugar and especially Kelly!

I used to work just a few blocks from here, but I changed jobs a few months ago and now work from home in south Seattle. Since it was no longer convenient to get to Sugar Sugar, I tried a few new places closer to home. And omg I regretted it! Sugar Sugar is the best!!!I have really sensitive skin so waxing has always been rough but I power through it. Ive only done sugaring a few times, and its so much gentler on my skin. Mariah is a doll and obviously takes her work seriously. I have super fine baby hairs around my brows that wax and sugaring cant always get. She takes her time to meticulously tweeze any hairs she cant get with the sugar. Im super impressed with her perfectionist attitude!Ive gone to places where they will try to wax every little hair and not even tweeze which leaves my skin super irritated. Or theyll give up on tweezing and I end up paying full price for brows that arent as good as they could be. This is not a problem with Mariah. Shes amazing, patient, funny and so good at what she does. Totally worth the drive!

Amaya was so great, this was my first time and she definitely made it less stressful. There is some sting and it does hurt but only for a short time then its perfect.

It’s so nice to find a place that does sugaring at all, so it’s amazing to have Sugar Sugar, where they can accommodate my busy schedule and where all the sugaristas are wonderful. I’ve been going here for nearly two years and have had services done by 6 of the lovely women (though I prefer to see the same person regularly, sometimes my schedule requires that I change the time or day to one that doesn’t work with my usual), and I plan to continue for the foreseeable future.

Stephanie was excellent. Professional and by far the least painful wax I have ever had. I will be a regular customer. I have had a lot of sugaring/waxes in NYC and now in Seattle and she is the best. Highly recommend.

I love love love this place!! I have been coming here for about a year+ and I will not go anywhere else for hair removal. The staff is amazing, the atmosphere is very pleasant and soothing. They make great product recommendations (they know their stuff!) and I will continue to be a customer for a very long time. Nicole is who I see for my Brazilian and eyebrow sugaring and she is fantastic! Her attention to detail (making sure all the hair you want gone is gone!) and her friendliness makes me feel like I am going to visit a friend rather than some stranger in a salon. I cannot say enough great things about this place!! :-)

I am continuously impressed with all of the women at Sugar Sugar. Nicole is incredibly fast, thorough, and really friendly. I cannot recommend her highly enough, and have found that when she is not available, the standard she has set for my personal expectations is met by everyone else on staff. Sugaring is SO much better for my skin than waxing could ever hope to be, and this is the only place in Seattle that I trust to do right by me.

Ive been a consistent customer of Sugar Sugar for probably 6 or more months and I have received amazing service from Stephanie, whom I always see. The front desk staff is incredibly kind and pleasant and besides Stephanie, all of the ladies there were wonderful. I highly recommend Sugar Sugar for waxing.

Without going into too much detail, I had a horrible experience with their customer service. I needed to cancel an appointment, and was unaware of their cancellation policy due to their clear lack of communication about it. Rather than apologizing, they spoke down to me and told me to check my spam folder for a confirmation email that would have explained this policy to me (wasnt there). The woman who I spoke to over the phone was incredibly rude. I brought up this experience to a friend who told me she has a nearly exact experience at this location, and she then recommended Sugar Plum in Ballard. I scheduled an appointment with them couldnt be happier with my experience! As someone who works in customer service and values it greatly, I would recommend Sugar Plum.

I had a back facial and my service was alright. My appointment was at 3, I arrived early for paperwork and wasnt pulled back into my room until 10 after. The service was lovely however I was FREEZING!! Having my back exposed with product in it, I wish the heat would have been turned up so I could be comfortable. When the appointment was over I looked up and it was 3:50. I was shocked that I didnt get the full hour service. Would have been nice if the time was filled with a little extra TLC (massage or whathaveyou)

I got the time wrong for my appointment and ended up being 20 minutes late. I was charged a 100% no show fee. I totally get that I was in the wrong but it was a genuine mistake. I feel like there should’ve been some kind of grace with that, especially since this was my first time at this place. Not happy about paying for a service I didn’t get. With that being said I will be going back to actually get the service I booked and you can be darn sure I’ll have the time right! Maybe I’ll be able to change my rating after that.

Dakota makes the experience as quick and painless as can be. Ive seen technicians at other sugaring studios who are not as skilled. Having the right technique makes a world of difference for the person receiving the treatment and they do a great job at Sugar Sugar.

Me and my friend like to schedule our sugaring appointments together (for moral support - and for dinner dates) and we love coming here! We have tried other sugaring places and the service was terrible (cranky front desk, unfriendly aesthetician, and painful sugaring). At Sugar Sugar we both agree that it is as painless as hair removal can be and the aestheticians are always friendly and honest and helpful with any questions we have. Anyone at the front desk is always great and helpful with rescheduling our appointments and checking us in right away. We love coming here and would recommend it to any of our friends (and you!)

Atmosphere is beautiful, the staff is amazing, and the sugaring is as painless as possible. Definitely going back to see Kimjoy again!

Wanting to love this place has taken me there 3 times.Each and every time the staff are uninformed, and rarely have the product I’m wanting in stock. Nor do any of the services provide extractions. Urg !!!

Staff change-over led me to change salons. Luckily, I was able to find my favorite estheticians at their new locations.

Aleina is amazing, go see her! Sugaring is much less painful than traditional waxing.
