We felt well cared for, listened to and comfortable during our couples massage. The aroma therapy massages were very relaxing. The atmosphere was serene. The staff was kind. It was also very clean and safe-feeling.

Oh my gosh i got almost every area massaged. It was pure bliss. I did the sundari massage. Came with back sugar scrub, wrap, hot stones and then massage. Also a foot treatment and warm socks wrapped over. Legs arms hands and feet all massaged too. I would live here if i could.

I had a very enjoyable and pleasant experience at Ananya Spa. I went there for a 50 minutes signature clean facial. Minorka provided me a great treatment. My skin feels very soft and clean after the visit. I will definitely go back for my next facial !

I had plans to travel from Spokane to Seattle for the day round trip and booked an appointment at Ananya, I cancelled and rebooked another one for the same day at a different time (days before today). Confirmed it on the phone AND via text message as well. I come in today after my flight and spend $45 on an Uber from the airport to get to Ananya and I was told she could not find my appointment at all. And she looked up my name and said it was cancelled as well. She asked to rebook for another day but I was only in Seattle for the day and all I was looking forward to was getting a deep tissue massage. When I told her I’m only here for the day her reply was “ooh sorry...” and did not offer any coupon or anything. I’m not sure if she saw but I broke down in tears and left. I had a really tough weekend and I was so excited to treat myself to a massage. So I was absolutely heart broken. I’ve been here before when I was in town and they are AMAZING. So I’m very disappointed that this happened to me and was not offered anything else to compensate my time for their mess up. I feel this was not handled professionally and appropriately as I had proof that I had in fact rescheduled my appointment. There should have been some sort of fixing to this problem as this was not my fault but the associate let me leave dissatisfied. I expected more from such a highly recommended place & I am hoping if I do come back after this experience, that it is not repeated.

Wow I just called to inquire about their esthetician’s experience - which I consider a fairly standard question for the service you are providing. The woman on the phone had no idea about their estheticians’ years of experience and expertise and clearly didn’t think it’s part of her job to know. Dodged a bullet.

Overdue update to my last review:After being contacted directly by the owner after a negative experience, I decided to go again and have not stopped coming back. Everyone has been professional and kind and Molly does great work for my brows. I haven’t branched out to trying anything beyond waxing yet, but hope to in the future.

The esthetician provided a little context and we went straight to the facial. I pulled a muscle in my back while working from home and was struggling to get any work done because the pain was awful. After two days of struggling, I finally decided to see if Ananya had any availability. I am so glad they were able to get me in on the same day!The massage was exactly what I needed -- targeted, consistent, professional. They took my pain from a 9/10 to a 3/10. They gave me some info on how to stretch my psoas muscles, which was very much appreciated.I also appreciated their COVID precautions. I havent been out at all since the new restrictions came in and I was worried about how it would work at a spa. I think their precautions (changing in the massage room, wearing a mask for services, no visitors in the waiting room, staggering appointments) were very well thought out and helpful. I felt safe coming here and would return!

I highly recommend Imani! I just got an aromatherapy massage, and she really paid attention to details that other massage therapists havent for me. Ive been looking for solutions to some back trouble Ive been having for months, and I think Im going to be a regular at least until my back is sorted out. The rest of the staff is also really friendly and inviting. Great overall experience :)

Ive gone here a few times now for Hydrofacials, brows (wax & tint), and other waxings. I always request Robin O. She is the best esthetician Ive found in years! She is very professional, informative, friendly and she knows her stuff! Since Ive been seeing her, all my friends tell me my face looks amazing! Overall the spa seems great and I even ventured out there recently. They took huge steps to make sure things were safe and sanitized during the visit and Robin wore her mask the whole time. I felt pretty safe as a high risk individual.

Imani is very skilled and considerate. The beds are also really comfortable.

After several days of pounding the pavement in our first visit to Seattle, I decided that a massage was the perfect remedy. Reviews for Ananya were very positive and--even better--it was just a half-mile from our hotel.I loved the ability to make the reservation easily on the website--something I really appreciated on a Sunday morning for a Monday appointment--and the text and phone confirmations were great.All of the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, Christopher did a great job of getting at my trouble spots on my neck and shoulders. The massage room was very nice as was the locker room. Not being pushed into adding extra services was a nice touch as well.The only reason I cant give Ananya five stars is that in both the locker room and my massage room, a staff member entered--or attempted to enter--without knocking. That this happened twice in the same visit indicates that this is general practice, though why such a basic rule of massages isnt followed is odd and mildly disturbing.

I came here for a Brazilian wax, just based on the google reviews. I met Dana as soon as I walked in and left feeling like I had made a friend. She is super professional, quick, and skilled. I have had many waxes in my life and she was by far my favorite. I highly recommend going to this place.

This place rocks. Very relaxing, intimate and luxurious. We got a couples massage to celebrate my birthday. We also added a private rooftop bath to the experience....completely recommend this. Massage was great. Bath had me feeling like I was floating away. Since we live in the area, they even gave us a coupon to come back. Highly recommend Sunday as it was a little slower and we probably got more attention due to that.

My three girlfriends and I came in while we were on a trip to Seattle and it was a fabulous experience! The entire staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly and we were all able to get different services at the same time. Robin Ogden is a brow goddess. Seriously, she knows just how to shape my brows with the just the right amount of thickness and arch. She is a perfectionist and she always goes that extra mile to make her clients feel special.

The spa is very clean and organized. Imani did an amazing job on my 24 HR post marathon massage. She paid attention to my areas of concern and focused on the areas that needed focused on. We had a great conversation when appropriate, and she made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend this spa and Imani as your massage therapist any day.

Came here for a couples massage and my girlfriend got a facial as well. The facial went well, besides some small hiccups. Our appointment was nearly moved on us, and when did show up we had to wait past our appointment time to get service. Besides that, the massage was nice. The massage however wasn’t deep enough, so much so that I fell asleep half way through my massage.

Called last minute on a Saturday to see if i could get in for a massage to relive some tension from a recent injury. They were booked, but the person I saw had just ended her shift and agreed to stay to see me. Sophia was AWESOME! The facility was nice, everyone on staff was friendly and accommodating, and the massage was excellent. I would definitely recommend.

We are vacationing from Michigan so I booked massages for my husband and myself. The ladies were wonderful, my husband had Jamie for deep tissue and was very pleased. I had Elizabeth for a swedish, she was great. I handled everything online with no problem. Highly recommend.

Massage was amazing, staff were great. Location is a bit small, and people were given tours of the changing room while changing, you wait in your robe just off the entranceway so people wandering in an rubbernecking was a bit uncomfortable.

Edit: the spa manager contacted me following this review and offered to reconcile.This place isn’t what it used to be. I’ve been here several times over the past couple years and have seen Jaimie who was amazing, but no longer works there. I asked the spa recommend another therapist who can do deep tissue with a lot of pressure. They booked me up for 80 mins with someone who they recommended highly. This therapist couldn’t have been worse. She spent 80 mins chatting and provided nothing more than a light oil rub (no matter how many times I asked her for more pressure). At one point she actually said, pressure is not always good for you. Waste of time and $150. I left messages with the front desk folks to speak to the manager twice as I felt like I deserved some sort of reconciliation for this horrible recommendation. No word back. Very disappointed!!!

I love the ambience and the therapists . My personal fav is Sara . She makes me feel comfortable and at ease . For someone who has had acne prone skin and been avoiding facials from years to start facials again is a big deal indeed. I tried their massage too and they are good . A must try

This was my first time getting a professional massage done. my boyfriend took me here for a mini session. 25 minutes i believe. we did arrive about 5 minutes late so we were a bit rushed, but the masseuse did a great job in making us feel comfortable and relaxed. the ambiance was soothing and the masseuse had great technique to work out some of my stubborn neck knots. it wasnt the cheapest, but also not the most expensive in the area. i would recommend this place and will come back in the future for more.

My husband and I have been getting massages and other care-taking from Julianne, the owner, for at least 10 years now. Julianne is a natural at massage, facials, and all things spa. More importantly, she is constantly getting training and studying, and providing training to all the folks who work for her. As she progressively expands her services, she makes it possible to get whatever you need at Ananya: a wonderful massage, the perfectly tailored facial, manicure, waxing, and more. Oh, try a pedicure in the new private pedi-room. If something isnt right, tell her. She will make it right.

Well, first off, I LOVE this place. I would go back all of the time if I could -- but as expected from any spa, its a bit too pricy for that. I received a few services as a gift through email on a Friday night. I called that same night and they were able to book me for an appointment the next day -- I liked that a lot, the fact that they cared enough to make room for me. On that Saturday, I went in for a Signature Deluxe Manicure & 30 Minute Deep Tissue Massage. The very nice receptionist handed me a hot cup of ginger-peach tea and a clipboard to fill out while she led me to my private room, to change into a robe. After I filled everything out, I went to get my nails done first. I had Alice, who was one of the nicest and genuinely friendly nail technicians I have ever met. She made me feel super relaxed as she did my nails -- she helped me make a lot of decisions, from ideal length to perfect polish. She even smuggled me a cup of mint tea to soothe my oncoming sore throat. That hour flew by and before I knew it, it was time for my massage. Jessie met me back at my room and led me to the massage room, which was warm and dark and extremely relaxing. That was the best massage Ive ever had, albeit it was the first professional one, it was AMAZING. When it was over, I knew that I would be coming back -- everyone was so nice and professional! The best part is that, despite the fact that I messed up the colour on a few of my nails during the massage, the receptionist was very nice about it and scheduled me for a Fix-It appointment the next day. I loved this place! I would totally recommend it to anyone I know, especially because the staff was very pleasant and worked very hard to make you comfortable, and it showed. (I feel like I should mention somewhere here that it was my first time at a spa, but it definitely wont be my last!)

I had an appointment on Saturday at 1:30 pm and gave a call to the receptionist, Jordan, a call saying that I would be a little late due to a traffic accident. She let me know to continue coming to my appointment.I was then told that I would be charged in full for being late to my appointment, $210.00. This is absolutely ridiculous.I would like to have all of my money reimbursed since there was no service given.I do not want to have to take further measures in this but I am hopeful that you will understand the situation I am in.

Yes it is as good as it gets. I am pretty regular at Anyas.We are IT family, which means a lot of living in different cities and a lot of experience with spas and beauticians. Took me two years to find the best in Seattle. They are right there in this spa. It is also the best products that this spa relentlessly suggests to its clients that makes it so appealing. Winter time the ever best Oxygen facial performed with the newest Oxygen machine and using Luzern products, and now spring into summer Bio-brasion facial. I have just done this one. I never felt the gentle device working on my skin, but this one completely deprives your skin of any hidden pimples or blackheads, any dirt and closes your pores. When one is finished with this facial one stares into mirror seeing renewed gentle and glowing skin. Julianne, of course is a master of delivering perfection. Highly recommend the experience.

I have been going to Ananya Spa since it opened its doors many years ago. I do not even live in Seattle anymore but every time I come back I book a treatment with Julianne. I always get amazing treatment from the entire staff here. This last visit, I had the Microneedling treatment coupled with an Oxygen facial. My recovery time was almost instant (compared to an average of 2 days, which we attribute to the oxygen facial) and the results are amazing, Ive been staring at my skin all day in the mirror because the treatment literally took years off my skin! I also have been using their new product line Luzern which I think enhances the benefits of the facial. Im thrilled with the results and look 10 years younger. I Highly recommend this treatment and highly highly recommend this spa!

Ananya Spa prides itself on being dedicated to providing an unforgettable experience in an environment of unparalleled relaxation and sophistication. I was definitely not feeling relaxed during the rushed massage and at the check out.I got a lecture from the supervisor on duty Danielle who let me know several times that I was late. About me being late. She is right, I was 20 minutes late to my appointment and I had called in twice and apologized for it a couple of times. Danielle said that it happens and that they would still accommodate me. Clean slate right? Wrong! I would have preferred it if they took my money and penalized me for being late than for making me feel guilty the entire visit. They definitely made me remember that I was late, from my mediocre massage from Meghan who seemed inconvenienced by me and the harassment from Danielle who let me know that they had booked me for a 60min sports massage when in all actuality I had booked for a 30min session. She told me that they did not offer a 30 minute sports massage on location or on their website and made me look like a complete idiot in front of her staff member Sarah. I pulled up their website on my phone and made sure to double check that I was indeed not crazy or making things up. Their website clearly states that they offer a 30 min sports massage. I went back to let them know and ended up speaking to Sarah who was a lot more reasonable and understanding. She apologized for Danielles actions and completely owned the fact that they had made an error.Sarah is the only reason I will be going back to redeem my remaining credit at Ananya Spa. Danielle needs to humble herself and accept when she is wrong. It would not hurt her if she got familiarized with their massage hours, pricing and website in general.

I had my very first full day spa experience at Ananya. What an absolute treat. All of the ladies were so professional and really treated me as an individual. I learned so many new things about my body that day and Im a nurse! Julianne did a wonderful job taking such fantastic care of my skin. She taught me so many new things about how to solve my acne problem and the facial truly made my skin feel so smooth and young! Meaghan gave me a phenomenal massage which was incredibly relaxing and really worked out the tension in this nurses back! Kristen gave me my first Brazilian and was such a professional through the whole process. The pain was very minimal thanks to her! Alisha gave me an incredible Mani/Pedi and was so down to earth and easy to talk to. My feet are so smooth too! All the the ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful with products as well as very welcoming! What a team you have Julianne! I highly recommend this spa! 😀

This place is amazing! I am always careful where I put my spa dollars and hesitate anytime I try somewhere new, however my money and skin were placed in amazing hands at Ananya. Julianne gave me the most amazing oxygen and microdermabrasion facial. I cannot believe how great my skin felt right after and then over the next few days I was surprised at how my skin looked even better each morning. I am not a facial person so this was a bit of a surprise that these treatments actually deliver what they promise. I am in love with this place. We found Ananya through Spa connector and this place was great. Booking was easy, my technician was responsive and I was very satisfied with the soothing decor and private changing room for couples.

Friendly and clean

I went for a nail tech interview today. I was at time but the owner had me waiting for almost one and half hour, because the other lady who suppose to take my interview was busy. That was very unprofessional. Plus the owner took advantage of me and asked me to give her a hand and feet massage.Well I was not there to give her free massage,but I been nice to her and she took massage from me for almost an hour,which I realized later that she just used me to relax her hands and feet. That was very rude and wrong.Finally the other lady called me for the test and instead of giving me a chance to show her my work, she just ordered me around. They took my full 2 hours and just wasted my time. Im very disappointed with them

I went in today for a facial and back facial. Upon my arrival I was given a cup of ginger peach tea and a clipboard with paperwork to fill out, then led to a private room. After being given a robe and slippers, I was told to take my time. They asked reasonable questions (e.g., if I had taken Accutane, if I liked steam) and the overall atmosphere, with dim lights and quiet music, was soothing.I had Kate work with me on a back facial and signature facial. As Im a chatterbox, I didnt treat it as a truly soothing spa experience - Kate and I went on tangents about biology and schoolwork. But Kate is a master of her work, and her enthusiasm is contagious. I definitely enjoyed my time there. I do have one suggestion: do not get a facial unless you dont mind having anime-fluffy bangs. I was amused by the outcome, but I went in expecting my hair to come out looking silly.
