I do all my laundry here. High capacity machines and paying with the app pay range is so convenient especially with the covid coin shortage. Also an excellent way to keep track of your machines timer if you don’t want to wait inside. Clean!
I absolutely love this laundromat. The atmosphere here is surprisingly welcoming and you dont have too many crazy people coming in. You can even strike up a wonderful conversation with your fellow laundry doers. The machines are always very well kept and they are great at making your clothing very clean. If you use the right detergent, your clothes will come out stunningly clean. They play good music overhead that is everyone friendly. If you ever need to get your clothing done nice and quick, this place is where to go. They even have their own parking lot lot. Best part, you are next to a lot of cool businesses to waste your time at.
I started my laundry and realized I forgot to bring dryer sheets so I ran to the Bartells across the alley. When I got back there was a presumably homeless man using the sink to bathe. As someone who has experience with homelessness all I can say is, come on man thats what public restrooms are for. I do appreciate that management would allow this, as bathing is one of the challenges of being homeless. I put my clothes in the dryer and then walked to 7-Eleven for a Slurpee. Mid afternoon on a 80 degree Summer Thursday and while certainly not the only customer it was not too busy, clean with competitive prices. Ill be back.
Nice place to do laundry. The Wednesday specials are very popular, so if you go, expect to have to hunt for machines. The place is clean, and the machine that dispenses supplies has a nice selection. The dryers look well used, though they worked perfectly. Parking, like almost everywhere in West Seattle, can be a challenge.
Good value, lots of large machines for big things like blankets. Change machine on site and now has a pay by phone option. Downside, no restroom and few chairs.
Clean. Small – relative to other laundromats Ive used around the country, but typical size for Seattle. No public restrooms, no large sink, no attendant, no drop-off service. Coins, not cards. Bit tight in terms of folding space if you are doing large loads. Soap recommendations for oversize machines = great idea! Busier as it gets later in the day – especially on weekends. Drug store and supermarket nearby so you can run multiple errands if youre so inclined. Or just chill at one of several neighborhood coffee shops.
The only thing keeping this from being 5 stars is COVID safety. Every time I have been here over the past 4 months, there are people without masks. Sometimes they are people just using the faculties, other times they are people who have spent hours hanging out with no mask on. I would appreciate some sort of enforcement at least for the folks who are spending significant amounts of time staying in the building, but I have yet to see that.
No covid protocols whatsoever. Myself and one other person are wearing a mask at all. Most dont even have one around their necks. Dont come here if you dont want COVID. It is always like this.
Clean and always in good working order.Best in West...fo sho.
Dont use machine #25. It agitates so slowly you almost have to reach in to do-it-yourself. No outlets to charge phone. But thats understandable. 5 miliwatts of power would certainly break the bank.
Its a good laundromat, with the exception of the incoherent tweeker hanging out😅
I go here when i need to do laundry n its close to where i live, the prices rnt too bad however on Wednesdays its the cheapest to use the facility n i was referred there by a neighbor n i would recommend it as well n its clean n kept tidy n they also have comment cards if you need to tell them about a problem or you wanna praise them...✊🏻💁🏼♀️☝️
Disappointed today. Washers are dirty and moldy. Doesnt seem like the place is being maintained the way it once was. I realize Covid-19 has put limitations on certain places, but this is a public place that should be cleaned at least.
Good prices on Wednesday. Lots of machines. Not great otherwise. There are occasionally some crazies that wander in
I do not like this place. People come in there, very disheveled and dirty (not customers) and wash up in the sink and then sit inside, not doing laundry. The larger machines for comforters do a terrible job I wish there were more laundromat options in West SeattleUPDATE: One of the regular cleaners comes in at night, not wearing a mask, and is all over the place, touching everything. I asked him if he could wear a mask, even offering him one, but he refused. Very Unsafe.
Very clean washers and dryers.Very clean interior.Very happy with my experience there
This place is always so clean and the equipment is top notch! Wednesday there is specials on all machines!
The new washers are great, they have a variety of washer sizes, and...a secret....the cheapest wash/dry around!!
Regular size side load washers are $1.75 or $1.50 ($1.25 on Wednesdays) for top load small washers. 3.5 load washers are $4.00. 5 load washers are $5.25. Dryers are $0.25 for 7 minutes (choice high, medium, low heat). Clean facility that is nicely laid out with two change exchange machines, 6 folding tables, 1 sink, 8 laundry carts & seating areas with magazines for patrons. 6 top load washers, 3 5 load washers, 3 3.5 load washers, 15 side load washers, 26 side load dryers. Convenient location with a free shared parking lot in the back or street parking with plenty of options to grab a bite to eat or grocery shop while waiting.
We took an oversize comforter here wot wash and dry and found everything to be clean and reasonable priced. Will go back when I need the big machines. I have a friend without washer dryer in his apartment who does all of his laundry here and has for years!
Moderately Dirty, Some Machines In Need Of ReplacementThis is about as basic as a laundromat can get. At least its next to a bus line and has (limited) free parking. The Wednesday wash deal is about what it should cost anyway ($1.25 per small 30min load), but other than that, this place is very bare bones. They only offer your typical soaps in the dispenser; so if you have allergies to heavy perfumes, there arent really any options for you if you forgot your soap. The parking lot company is also aggressive in marking car tires and thirsty to write ridiculous $50 tickets; so if you have a lot of laundry to do, be aware of that nonsense.I find that the dryers dont get hot enough to dry medium-sized loads in less than an hour, and some of the washing machines need new seals, doors, and need to be rebalanced so that they dont shake uncontrollably. The large load washers are newer and nicer, but they are pretty expensive in comparison.Seating is extremely limited, so your best bet is to set a timer and go for a walk. Washer doors lock, but the dryer doors do not; so keep that in mind if youre afraid of theft. Also, there is never an attendant around (out of the dozen or so times, Ive only seen them at close), which means if something goes wrong: good luck. Why the bad rating? Safety concerns. Be extremely careful with the floors, as well -- not only are they very dirty, but the last time I went, people were slipping and falling down; one whom was an elderly woman whose fall was so hard that Im surprised she was able to get up at all. They really should install nonslip rubber mats; especially when it rains or snows.
Been a while since I have been in, new washers were good to see. Place was clean as usual.
Clean environment, economical rates, takes no more than 1hr to wash and dry.
Decent laundromat as any Ivery been too. Prices arent too bad. Considering they have no competition in the area and stay busy throughout the day. My only complaint is of course the parking, dont want to be carrying multiple loads of laundry down the street. Maybe they could do time limits on the existing parking or work a deal out with the nearby garage to do free 20 min parking for customers.
After i was finnished doing some last minute late night laundry(saying this to point out that i was, in fact, a customer) i had about 20min left till my bus arrived so i remained inside charging my phone as it is extra cold outside tonight. one of the staff went out of his way to tell me i needed to leave and couldnt stay there, but did not kick out anybody else... while he is within his rights to do this, i feel he was very rude and i feel discriminated against. i hope you all read this and chose a different place of buissness
I drive from Beacon Hill to go to this laundromat because its so clean, affordable, and has proper working machines. Plus Ill just bring my laptop and walk over to MetroMarket (one block away) to use their wifi and maybe grab lunch!
Wednesday is $1.25 a load and that is a great deal. So good its busy that day so arrive early
Kinda busy on saturday but duh. Parking is tough. I wish they had drop off service. Its not horrible and there arent any crackheads around which is better than my last place.
Been going here for a few years place is clean, quite, washers & dryers always in working order if you do lose $ they are very prompt at returning it nice location you can shop eat or get a hair cut because there are so many places so close while you wait for you clothes to be done
Coins got jamed and stuck into the washer I had to try about 20 times I almost gave up my recommendation is that they put more staff to empty the coin boxes of the washers. Almost had to give up.
Great spot to do your laundry. Very affordable and never too busy when I go.
What can I say Ive been absolutely spoiled by another laundry mat in a town much further away (its worth the drive.) BUT when I cant make the trip I use this place. Its your basic laundry mat, nothing special, and its prices are alot higher (I spend half the money at the nicer laundry mat) than the laundry mat I usually use thats absolutely spotless, larger, has better quality dryers, more space, and so on. But it works when in a crunch.
Decent laundromat...one of the $5,75 large washers was not functioning.
Quiet and clean. Plus there is a arcade/bar outside the back door.
Easy, clean, fast, centralized.
The place to do more than 1 load at a time.
Great Staff fast service
Plenty of machines available. Fairly clean by my standards. Parking behind laundromat.
Once a week they have discount deals .!
Early mornings are best. Place is clean but no restroom.
I love this place but you guys should really have an attendant at least for part of the day and definitely a bathroom cuz that is annoying trying to hold it till the end of my wash and dry cycle.
Love this place
Always easy to get in and out of. They keep it very clean.
Needs to be remodeled. Its dirty, floors are covered in mud, and the dryers made my down comforter stink. I recognized the smell from 10 years ago when I last used the laundromat. I drive all the way to burien, azteca laundy to avoid that place but figured id give my local one a try. Now I need to rewash my comforter!
Standard neighborhood laundromat. Clean and bright.
Honestly I havent been here since I was a small kid but I saw the review and had to say something. This place has been here since I was small... Possibly before I was born... maybe longer. I have had some memories here of playing with ninja turtle action figures while waiting what felt like forever for my father or grandmother to get finished with our laundry.
Clean and well managed...
Laundromat. Prices are not crazy, machines are clean and rarely out of order, change machine takes up to $20 bills. What more can you ask, really.
Price is good location is great
Great location.
Small but clean.
Clean, good location, a bit expensive
Never too busy
Does the job
