Several machines were broken, but its a big place so there were plenty working and available. Older but mostly clean. Decent prices and parking lot out front. Free wifi. No indoor seating due to COVID. Biggest downside was no bathroom - not even for customers.
So clean and spacious. Great prices for such big washer and dryers
Clean clean clean. The employees its very thoughtful, hard working and smiles.
This place was super clean. There was 2 people cleaning nonstop. Not even kidding. While my whole time waiting this 2 people just kept on cleaning every corner, every handle and where extremely helpful. Not to mention is has good parking lot and cameras to keep you safe. Also the prices where pretty reasonable . Over all, great experience.
If it were possible to give INFINITE STARS this would be the time to do it. While Hogans Corner Laundry had been in operation for a beer long time, it changed ownership in just the last couple of years. Many were concerned that the prices would skyrocket while service went down. While the prices did increase (not horribly so) the service did exactly opposite of what was expected it increased over what already was incredibly AWESOME to just flat out STELLAR. Ok, ok, is a laundromat how can you get so excited about service at as laundromat?!? (Ever had to much starch in the shorts? 🥴😁)The new owner, Matthew, took over operations right at the beginning of one of the worst possible moments in our countrys history: the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Immediately dressing the worst he did his best to hold off having to let go of staff, to increase prices, while implementing the planned upgrades to the machines.Throughout the entire pandemic, Matthew did his best to keep the original staff is they chose to stay and keep the laundromat itself open. He learned from the word go what it meant to be a hand on owner/operator working alongside his team, keeping a smile on for the customers, doing everything possible to keep the doors open up so WE could have clean clothes.Sadly, much of the old team has moved on, but hes been adding new bright and friendly faces to the new team, and it appears that hes coming out stronger than ever from the pandemic.Im back to full hours of operation with awesome new machines, with updatedb payment technology (smartphones will rule the world someday, just ask Alexa, Cortana, or, Googs -Google -:lol)THANK YOU Matthew!! You could have chosen to just close up and hang up the iron, but you PRESSED on!!This is the only place you should consider to do your laundry. Clean, affordable, and if you wanti reasonably priced full service laundry. Leave the cycle outside, and Come take them for a spin!!
I came here to get things done and not for luxury. Its just OK and affordable. Free WiFi (password is on the counters door). Some machines are not working but they have plenty, so no issue. No restrooms, but you can walk a bit to the restrooms at the playground in the back, or at McDonalds just accross the traffic light. A bit packed on weekends.
Although it is a 20 minute bus ride with a large bag of laundry, it is well worth it, as it is possible they have the hottest dryers in Seattle, as a sign read on one of the machines .
$10 to wash and dry a blanket is kinda pricey especially considering the place is pretty run down and unclean. Theres also no place to sit while you wait.
Staff is friendly about answering questions and they keep the place loiter free...most importantly clean. You can pay using cash coin or the new pay range app. They have parking and are close to some great local eats. Highly recommend washing your clothes here. Just save me a washer; wouldnt want my local spot getting too busy. 😆
Its a little pricey but considering the cost of hot water its a nice environment and you can pay with your phone
Old machines. The water spills out while washing. But your clothes do get washed
Clean and organized space, great machines, and great service! one of the washers i was using malfunctioned and the gentleman working helped me move my laundry and provided proper coinage expediently. thanks for making a stressful task quick and easy!
I discovered this laundromat on Google Search the night before my long overdue laundry outing. After reading the reviews especially the noted emphasis on Covid prevention practices, and viewing some of the photo posts I decided to give it a try. I I am sold and will return regularly. Pre-pandemic I had always gone to the Maytag Laundromat in Lake City until it unfortunately burned down. I went there because of the convenience to my neighborhood. I really didnt prefer it but it was well managed and clean enough. With the pandemic I hesitated to go anywhere and my laundry was mounting up. C-19 prevention methods meant a lot to me.I arrived just before noon. Good time of day. A beautiful day. Fortunately I had a car and with a few parking spaces in front parking was easy and convenient at the time. There was street parking nearby too. On entering the laundromat, my first impression was the spaciousness, cleanliness and order. Laid out throughout the area, there is no shortage of machines to suit all sizes of loads and lots of walking around space. The coin machine works well, generously exchanging bills for quarters and Susan B. Anthony Dollars...because the machines take either or both coins.Theres a notable emphasis placed on order and cleanliness. The staff frequently goes around the place cleaning and wiping down the machines. Prioritizing C-19 prevention methods all surfaces are blocked off to discourage standing around folding clothes. I brought my own totes and bags but they have many baskets available. Yes people are expected to wait outside while their loads wash and dry. But people come in and out freely as needed cutting down on congestion and enforcing social distancing. It all works. The owner and staff are friendly, helpful and customer service oriented. Without even asking and while in haste, struggling to read the instructions, the owner walked up to me offering his help. I welcomed it. I recieved a personal tutorial (and tour) and intro on how the machines operate and how to get the best results out of them.Although honestly at first it all seemed like rocket science, but once I got the hang of it it went like clockwork. The experience, far exceeded all my expectations and Hogans in Ravenna is now my laundromat of choice.
Anyone that wants to feel Like youre worth something, then take the time To share A quick conversation With the owner Matt . Youre probably wondering if he is the actual former wrestler wrestler LOL . He actually purchased the place And it had already Established the name Hogans Prior to him Owning it . :-)
I’ve done my laundry here 6 times now, and every single time I get home I find spots of dirt that weren’t washed out. I’ve bought spray on stain removers and new detergent in an effort to finally clean my laundry, but today was the last straw when my load finished and I found that my clothing was only half wet. I asked the attendant for a refund so I could wash my clothes elsewhere and she refused (although she did allow me to use a different machine for free). So now I’ve spent twice as much time today for clothes that are half as clean. Extremely dissatisfied and will not be back.
Great service, very clean I was very impressed how the staffed kept busy cleaning nonstop. Also safe with cameras and good parking
Clean, quiet, fast and affordable
As far as laundromats go, its as good as it gets. Clean, lots of machines, change machine machine always works, friendly attendants.Bonus: there is a park next door and a brewery across the street.
Clean clean place and laundries machine and staff is very nice and friendly but no restrooms or wheel chair access
Great machines, clean facility and helpful staff. Came in with clothes from our closets not smelling their best to say the least and they came out almost like new. Will be coming regularly! Nice to kiddos too. We love it here.
This place is getting to expensive loads begin at 3.50 a machine, dryers cost to much too, for 8 minutes it takes two dollars in quarters. And you have to wait outside in the cold rain for your laundry. This place sucks.
The detergent dispenser took $2.50 without giving any soap. It took quite a while to locate the attendant. It would be helpful if attendants had more than just a T shirt indicating they are employed there. A nametag or lanyard would be helpful
Clean, staff was great, answered questions and helped me with the app to pay. I was kinda shocked by the price to wash three lage loads, though, but I suppose thats anywhere now.
This is a great laundromat. It is clean and there are always a lot of machines open. It is coin operated but there is a change machine.
I washed and dried a thick King Size down comforter in their largest machine, and it worked great! Way cheaper and less toxic than dry-cleaning for large items. This is a nice resource for the community, even those who own a home washer/dryer!
Overall good service and clean
Bring your quarters with you ( sometimes the change machine works and sometimes not !!!Plenty of washers of different sizes and cost, ample dryers usually no wait at all. Clean laundry mat with seating.Parking can be limited at times
The facility was clean and the machinery was all fully functional
Yes there is free parking but not a lot of it and if you approach Hogans from the opposite side of the street you might be tempted to cross the double yellow stripe to pull into the lot. There is always someone wiping down the machines. Sometimes there is a free candy basket on the counter by the drop off service window. There is a park next door and a MacDonalds across the intersection (i like to get an ice cream cone and use the restroom facilities while doing laundry). The downside to going to Hogans is that there isnt a bathroom for customers to use while washing your belongings.
Nice clean machines a little pricey.
I really like this laundromat. Mainly because from the parking lot you can see the washers and dryers. So instead of sitting inside the entire time bored you can sit in your car, read a book and/or listen to music while you are waiting for your clothes to get clean. They also have some really great deals for dropping off your clothes and having them cleaned and folded for you. The employees are.also really nice.
I was washing my bedding in the larger washing machines and the spin cycles did a poor job- seems like themachines are old. I had to put extra quarters in to dry my clothes. The attendant said it was my materials- I disagreed. The place was very dirty, I had to wipe the counters before I folded my clothes. I won’t go back there. I went to another place and it was cheaper and my clothes washed and dried much faster.
Very convenient location. Just a helpful hint, they tend to run out of quarters on Sunday, might want to bring your own.
This review is for Hogans Corner drop off laundry service. Fast, folded, and $1 a pound. A life saver if you are a busy person with limited access to a washer/dryer. I have been using this service for three years now - often done the next day and sometimes the same day - its worth it! Friendly staff as well!
Low cost washer. But cigarette smokers STINK up the place and your clothes
Awesome place. Just got some new machines. Midweek afternoons are best times to go. Friendly staff and very clean. Right next to Ravenna Park so you can take a walk while your clothes are washing/drying. Also several fast food places...McDs, Kidd Valley, Subway...nearby. EnjoyJ
Needs updates
I freakin love this place! Why?? Its just a damn place to wash & dry your clothing! & I know! Lol its a big laundromat first off, they have multiple machines & a change dispenser. They also have a soap machine with a few other products in it. I believe the hours for this place are pretty decent & Ive never had clothes stolen from here & Ive never not been able to wash my stuff or wait in any lines, always have open machines!
Free WiFi. Password Is posted by drop off window. Wide variety of machines for every household size or those of us who wait four weeks while waiting for a delivery of our new Whirlpool front loader from reliable Metropolitan Appliance. Price of wash was $2.25 for my machine and about $1.50 for a half an hour of drying. Please bring magazines or newspapers to read.
Nothing wrong with it, a little pricey but the people who work there seem nice, they clean the whole time and everything is normal
Not enough supervision by the manager to keep out those who are not using the facility and instead are harassing customers.
The 2 clocks are about 5 min apart. At what i thought was 10:20 was actually 10:25 and the closing/cleaning attendant had a super attitude with me even though my laundry was done i was just bagging it up, i told her i would be done before 10:30 and she said I dont give a F**k, you just need to get the f**k out now. That was my first and the last time i will ever go there. It was dirty, the machines are old the vending machine was empty and the change machine was out of order (which was why i was there until the very last min because my bf had to run out and find 15$ worth of change!) The only good thing about this place is that its open until 1030.
I have been coming here for about 7 years now. They are the cleanest and most affordable quality machines around. No HE, but I have never lost a garment to a machine here.
$2.75 for washing, $0.25 for 7 minutes of drying. Wash cycles are about 35-40 minutes per load. Wi-fi would be nice to do ho.ework but there are chairs to sit and read and a McDonalds across the street if youre hungry.
Place is clean and friendly. Equipment works. No consolation for my vehicle damaged in parking lot. Insufficiently sized/number of spaces. Poorly laid out. Great if you have a smart car or walk.
Decent laundry mat with decent hours.$2.25/wash & $0.25/7 min to dry.The size is good & they dry clean.
Convenient and affordable, with friendly staff and great dry cleaning services. It would be nicer if there were fewer out-of-order machines though.
Plus: big machines that work, clean environment, free wifi, no loiterers, dryers can be used in increments of quarters instead of requiring full price.Minus: no air conditioning, no attendant present, doesnt take cards, cant buy supplies or snacks, no restrooms. Conclusion: gets the job done.
Got the laundry done fast in 50 min with the front loading speed queen washer and dryer. While pricey at $4.50 it takes a big load of clothes or whatever.
The staff was friendly and the place was clean. Its located near food joints and it reasonably priced.
1.75 wash top loader.. 25 cents to dry...back west coner dryer on wall. Older machine but does the job. Great hours.
Wasnt that cheap. The place had old machines. It would have been better if machines were new and washed better
Just ok. Some broken down machines. The attendant was helpful and friendly. Pretty standard older laundry.
Affordable and well maintained. Free wifi is nice too.
After using this place for a month I would recommend it to anyone for the reasonable prices and hours, open until 10pm.
Good things are that this is a clean facility lots of washers and dryers fair prices. There is no restroom for customers if you have any questions or need anything you will be told by the attendant on duty to go look elsewhere.
Very clean and convenient but limited parking.
Very clean and value is good
Definitely increased their prices for 2019..
Inexpensive. Relatively clean. Washed and dried two loads of laundry for $5
Clean, relatively cheap, and not too crowded. Parking lot is small, but theres usually a spot.
Greta place for laundry. Clean and easy. Thanks!
Its ok
Great people and clean.
Open late and the guy who cleans the place reminds me of Milton from Office Space lol! Plus featuring Scotty the smelly homeless kid lol.
Very clean and inviting!
Wash/dry is inexpensive. Store is clean and staff are always very friendly.
Quick, cheap and quick food options around the neighborhood as well
Its my local laundromat. Great prices, availability, and efficiency of machines!
Rude staff. Took whites in and they came out brown
Best value and no frills laundromat in the area.
Nice machines, comfortable laundry mat, affordable .
Clean friendly fast n cost effective
So affordable!! Best in Seattle
Tailored to your needs with a smile.
Was kinda dirty and no big folding table.
They recently increased cost of drop-off service by 50%!
Clean convenient and comfortable
Great service!
Lots of washers and dryers, coin dispenser, soap dispenser, magazines, chairs to relax.
Should fix quarter machine.
Nice
Lots of machines
Nice
Overall not a bad place, they have a app you can add money to, as you near a machine you pick its number, pay, load your laundry and be done.
