Of course my washer broke and its always inconvenient when that happens. Lugged a heavy wet load into a big bucket and off I went in search of a laundromat. Tried going to the one closest to me - Rainier & Kenyon - couldnt find parking (theres like maybe 6 spaces max and those are probably used by people frequenting the businesses next door). Then down to King Donut - nope, laundromats closed, dunno if its because of COVID. Next was Empire Speed. Easy to find, the parking lot was super tight but turnover high on a Friday night. I parked in the handicapped anyway. In my frantic getaway, Id forgotten to bring quarters. Well, a nice fellow waiting for his laundry was happy to point me in the right direction, right in front of the entrance. Plunked in my $3.25 for a quick wash, went and sat in the car and headed back 15 minutes later. The place was clean, organized and moderately busy; as far as I could tell, only one machine was out of service. Guess I know where to come now until my washing machine gets fixed. I would turn it all the way up and give this place eleven stars if I could. The facilities are basic, no frills, but all of the necessities are there. Every thing is new and everything is clean.Let me expand on that last point. After closing, I saw the proprietress clean and disinfect every machine. Well, except for the seven or so machines I was still using. I imagine she cleaned those after I left, roughly an hour and a half after closing time. I had arrived just before last call with an insane amount of laundry, which she helped my clueless self sort, load and start. She was friendly and helpful when she had every right to be annoyed. When I tried to tip her for her time, she refused, stating that itd be better for me to return to spend that bill as a customer. And so she earned my loyalty.Good people.Oh, the deets. Cash only, no ATM, but Chase is literally the next building over. They have a bunch of the small laundry machines, several mediums, a handful of large and one super jumbo.

Good manger, pointed me to the electricity plug to charge my device without even asking. Pricing might be an issue for some, it took me 4 quarters to Dry a small Load of cotton underwear! Location is great, accessible through public transportation. Parking is an issue, I parked behind and it was just fine.

This place is clean, quiet, & convenient. There is, thank God, a cash machine, but no atm. They have good hours and there is always an attendant
