Thought I needed a new charger, but he plugged my iPhone 8 into his own and it charged right up. When I told him I couldn’t get it to charge on any other charger, he sold me his for $10. When you go inside the shop there is a comfortable couch for those who want to wait, and a keurig with coffee, tea, and water available. I was repairing a phone screen, which is probably the longest repair he does, so I opted to wander around the nearby sculpture park area while he worked. He also had some high-quality books and magazines available to peruse in case you wanted to read a bit while waiting. My phone looks great now and Im quite satisfied. His shop has a quiet, calm presence, much like the owner. I would definitely go here again, even though it was out of my way to choose this location.

Completely smashed the screen on my Nexus 5X and took it here to get it fixed without an appointment. It took longer than I thought, but he finished the repair faster than he said it would take (about 45 minutes total). Great attention to detail. All in all, excellent service and workmanship.

I took my iPhone 6s to be repaired here after significantly cracking the screen and I could not be more pleased with the result. Matt clearly takes great pride in his work and has a passion for phone repair. My phone looks brand new and after about a week I havent had a single problem. Theres a reason this place has a 5 star rating. I was referred to them from a different business about fixing the digital speedometer that I had removed from my car. While they do seem to be focused on phone repairs, they were able to solder a connection that I didnt trust myself doing in no time at all. Upon installing it when I got home, it works like a charm now. I would highly recommend this place.

This is the absolute BEST place to get your phone fixed. Ive had my screen replaced once. It was speedy and totally affordable. I made an appointment which guaranteed it got worked on that day. It only took one hour! I recently dropped my phone and some of the connections to the screen go jostled. I just walked in and Matt was able to work his magic and its like a brand new phone. Would recommend this shop to anyone in need of ultra-fast, expertly phone repair. A small ding on my Nexus 6P was wreaking serious havoc and had basically rendered my phone unusable (endless power-cycling, randomly entering bootloader, etc.) I needed a quick fix, so I took it here without scheduling an appointment first. Excellent. I had a simple out of warranty iPhone 6 battery replacement. Cost was $40 + tax (vs. $79+ at Apple). Booked time on website, arrived 5 minutes early at their easy to find store (tip: during the weekday, theres a lot of available metered parking there). Walked in, service started immediately, nice sitting area if you need to hang out. But before I could even read through 2 ads of a vintage 1967 Life Magazine, my repair was done! I walked in here with an iPhone 5 with dirty camera lenses and one minute later the phone was open. Matt only took a few minutes to clean the lenses. Such a great place! I cant recommend them enough. While visiting Seattle my brand new iPhone 6s was dropped and shattered. I found these guys and they had my phone looking brand new in 45 minutes. The owners are obviously passionate and super knowledgable about their work. We waited in the lobby and played with their kitten Unit C, and chit chatted with the owners. We love this place, and hopefully nothing will happen to our devices in the future but if something does well definitely be coming back here!

I set my appointment on a Thursday, when they were closed. I contacted Matt that day and he responded about a schedule/could this be fixed sort of thing. Even during non-business hours he got back to me! Hes serious about his operation, as any aspiring entrepreneur has to be. I showed up just before 10 AM for my appointment, and as I write this its 10:30 and Im at home with my repaired phone. AND I walked there and back (its only half a mile away from where I live).To give you backstory on what happened, I dropped my phone on an elevator door frame. It landed on the corner, and the screen broke. And the screen went black. The noises still worked. Matt replaced the digitizer, the LCD, and the screen. Thanks to Matt, I didnt have to go 24 hours without feeling like I lost a limb.So he had it fixed super quick, has complimentary coffee, AND a fun selection of vintage copies of Life magazine! He has a friendly, understated disposition. If youre hanging out while he fixes your phone (in front of you, not in the back like some creep), sit back, sip on some coffee, and enjoy an issue of Life magazine from 1966.

Did a phenomenal job fixing my very broken LG G5 screen, and even took care of my pesky power button (that was being quite unresponsive) while he was at it, all very quickly and for a great price. Will definitely go back when I inevitably break my phone again.

My Samsung Note 4 took a dunk in some water. I emailed Matt with concerns over fees if the repair was not successful. Matt let me know there would be no upfront diagnostic fee and no other fees if the phone could not be repaired. I dropped it off near closing time so he took a look at it the next day. Unfortunately, it could not be revived due to too much corosion. I was told if I wanted any of my photos or other files, he could have the phone sent out to have the chips removed and the data pulled. Maybe another time.Matt is knowledgeable, easy going, and communication with him went smoothly. His business is clean and organized compared to other shops Ive visited. If I have any issues with my phone/tablet in the future I will not hesitate to use his services again.

Went to visit Matt a few times for one issue on my Galaxy S6. I broke my LCD while replacing my daughterboard so I had to get a new LCD assembly. Installed it myself and it didnt sit quite right. Took it over to Seattle Device repair and had Matt take a look at it. He pulled the screen up and put phone back together but it still had the issue. On another visit to him we pulled the phone apart together and noticed some old adhesive was still present on the frame which made the LCD panel not sit as flush at it should.Great service and will definitely have him help me in the future so I do not break the phone again myself! :)

By far the worst place I ever went to check my iPad in he kept it for 2 months and then still didnt fix it had to take it to someone they fixed it in two days. Thanks gadget fix. This is by farworst place Ive ever been,Will not be recommending this to my friends or my enemies.

This place is fantastic! AT&T wanted to charge me $100 bucks to wipe and sent my phone off for 3-5 business days. Broken glass on my 5s. Everyone knows 3-5 days when you dont have a land line is an eternity. Found this place on my google search. Walked in. Handed him my phone. Walked out with a fixed phone 15 minutes later. Paid only $86 bucks 😱 freaking amAzing! And you can tell fixing phones is this guys specialty. Screw apple and AT&T. Im going here for anything else from now on!

Months ago, I broke my iPhone 6s screen and a buddy of mine who worked in IT said he could fix it...but then ended up breaking the phone in the process. :/For the time being, he bought me a used 5s (which was super sweet, but the battery never held a charge long) and I finally broke THAT phones screen yesterday at the Pyuallup fair.However, when I came into Seattle Device Repair to see if the iPhone 6 was fixable, Matt gave me the low down on how it would cost hella money to fix it; but that he could replace my iPhone 5ss screen, battery and put on one of those permanent glass protection things-all for 129$! Can you imagine the epic winning feelings I had when he told me this?!He was incredibly fast (a mere 30 mins) and super nice throughout the whole process. If you have any iPhone problems-this is the shop to go to!!! Cannot recommend highly enough.
