I went with the expectation that they could repair two Nintendo Switch controllers, you know, the left stick issue. If it wasnt possible, I was thinking about seeing what options they had.The owner, cold and distant, first told me that they did not make them because it was more expensive to fix them than to buy new ones, then when he saw them (because perhaps he did not understand), he told me that repairing them was simple, that they only placed a paper ball under the command and that was it. But that they did not do that repair, sorry.Instead of looking for an alternative service or giving me an option, the shopkeeper said goodbye saying that I should drive to Nintendo of America, since they repair the controllers, not knowing that I dont have a car.Disappointing first shopper experience on site, I will definitely not visit the store again although it looks interesting. The shopkeeper is right, I better buy or repair it directly with Nintendo of America.

The selection was really good and the store is organized exceptionally. The merchandise is easy to go through and the prices are fair. Customer service is good. It was an enjoyable time hunting for some retro games.

Cool store I guess if your into buying Reproduced/Homebrew games.Rubbed me the wrong way when I saw all three Mario Party N64 games for around $70 with a reproduced/homebrew tag on it. Selling non genuine games at market price is super shady. How can I trust if any game in the store is genuine if you can just flash any game to a game cart.At that point you might as well buy a flashcart and download any game/rom hack game you can think of.

Brought in my Xbox One with an issue that another electronics repair shop couldnt diagnose. They had it up and running while I waited, and didnt even charge me for the trouble. Definitely supporting this place whenever I need something gaming related from now on!

Their generous return policy isnt so generous. I bought a (New) broken controller from them, when I returned it the next day with the receipt, they would only give store credit.

Great place with some great selections. I havent traded anything in here personally but pricing for purchases is usually reasonable. Great place to find more obscure or rarer gaming items.

Theyre an indie game shop similar to game stop but.... Indie! :D And they have tons of old school games, some awesome themes board games, and they do game repairs! They also have these super cute buttons omg! I am getting a bunch of them!

My 16yo son loves this place. They have vintage games, game consoles, board games, and they can repair broken game consoles. The prices are reasonable and even offer year end sales (like buy two get one free). The owner is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I will definitely return.

Good little used game store. Theres ample parking out front. Friendly staff. Decent selection of used titles for all current and previous gen consoles. They even mark the backward compatible discs so you know if something will work on multiple machines.Definitely a good place to try if youre looking to save a few bucks or check out some hard-to-find classics.

I really like this store. They sell a variety of used and refurbished consoles for good prices. They come with a sixty day warranty. The staff is friendly, capable and very willing to help. There are plenty of used games available and they are very well priced as well.I bought a refurbished Wii from the store. It works great.

Went in to get my Elite co troller fixed, it had right stick drift. When I got my controller back I could tell immediately it wasnt a good fix at moving the joystick around was not smooth at all. When I got home I tested it to see if it worked and the drift was worse than before. My controller was also still connected to my xbox which means they didnt even test it to see if it worked. Very dissapointed.

Great staff whos happy to be honest and knowledgeable. The place is dirty as youd expect, but well organized and keep their quality up. They also work in the used markup game, but of course they have to to survive. I like and trust these guys.

Walked in on a whim since we were in the Seattle area visiting family and was pleasantly surprised. They have a good, expansive collection of games to browse, and the staff was both knowledgeable and friendly. Ended up finding a ton of games and systems for both myself and my wife. The guy behind the counter was very helpful the whole time and a pleasure to talk to.

They ripped me off!!I have auditory processing disorder so I miss understood what they said but you probably want to know how they ripped me off so Ill tell you. I sold a very good working condition Sega Genesis and three PlayStation 2 controllers. They were adding all the money up and I thought he said I was getting 80 bucks so I was so excited until I took the cash and I was busy that day so I had to be somewhere and noticed the receipt and it was eight bucks just for all of that! They might have a good selection but theyll rip you off I wouldnt recommend going there if youre selling something.

Always love coming here to see what they have. Its a used video game store so inventory always changes. They do have a wide selection, for current systems and for past systems. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome retro game shop! Talked to Lane the manager and he was friendly and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended as they have a HUGE selection. Whatever you are looking for, surely you will find it there!

Friendly and knowledge staff. They offer system repairs, which is what drew me in. They have a great selection of games from every generation of gaming. The table top gaming room is a treat. They offer hacks and homebrews, which isnt something you always see.

This place is actually way better than Amazon. Its the best video game store Ive ever been to and the guy whos always there with the eye patch is so nice and knowledgeable. I feel like I have to stop in everytime I come to Seattle.

Probably the best in-store selection of PS-1, PS-2 games, none of the really good ones, games for many other systems, but they can call you if a requested disc comes in. Saves a lot of time driving around town looking for an older system, because Value Village and Goodwill doesnt have them.

Pros:Great prices.Large-ish selection of good retro and modern games.Also lots of board games.Cons:Owner and other employees were quite rude.Cartridges were quite dirty, unable to run without being cleaned.No knowledge of their own stock. Unable to ask questions regarding such over the phone.My issues probably major to some, are really minor to me. I just want to buy games for my collection, and I would recommend others for the same purpose. Just make sure to test games before buying.

Wide selection of classic retro games. When I asked about a price of a genesis game, he told me what he had listed, then checked online of the going rate. The going rate was about $5 more than what he had priced, but he honored the price he told me. Honest and friendly.

Awesome store. Diverse selection and decent prices. The two guys working while I was there seemed friendly. I probably wouldnt recommend the store for really young children as its not very big, and they have a lot of collectibles and vintage items on low shelves that could be accidents waiting to happen.

Good service. Varied selection of used Nintendo games. Got a few authentic Gameboy cartridges, and DS 3DS game cards. Decent 7 day return policy and 60 day fix or replace guarantee used hardware. I got myself a Gameboy Advance SP AGS-101, and a (new 2014) 3DS XL.

This is a great place to pick up a retro console game or a board game. Even though I don’t play many old games, their selection is massive! I do go here for board games and they always have something I like, and one time I was looking for something specific they didn’t have and the guy ordered it right away for me.

Great shop if you want to avoid the corporate video game stores. Plus you could take your broken systems in for repairs and lifetime repair warranty. Great repair service, and they even have some really cute girls working there. What more could you ask for?

I wish I could give them minus 5 stars. I went in there with my 2 children to look for some games. The owner was there. He was SCREAMING and BERATING his employee right in front of us, cussing and yelling with my kids right in front of him!!! We immediately left and will not be going back. The man has no respect and if I were that girl, Id tell him to shove it and walk out!!! I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THAT STORE AGAIN!!! On top of everything else, their prices are HORRIBLE!!! $25.00 for used Game Cube games!!! WHAT!!! Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!!!!!

I went in to sell some games this afternoon. I asked the guy behind the counter How you doing and he replied I dont know, how am I doing? I put my bag of games on the counter and then he preceded to very condescendingly tell me that he was unable to look at my games because they were still in the bag. Maybe it was his sense of humor but I walked out at that point. Maybe he was having a bad day?

I got a Fire Emblem SNES repro cart (only $25), and when it had an issue, Game Gurus immediately replaced it, no hassle. Thanks guys! Great service and prices.

Went in for simple disc drive repair, they tried to sell me on red ring repair by using faulty power cords in their store. When I called the guy out, he became indignant, wouldnt offer me a discount for my wasted time and gas, and didnt want my business. Wow.

I received very good service, and I saw the man working was able to keep his cool even with some of the unruly customers in front of me. I will return for any of my gaming needs.

Decided to take a look at this store and see if I could score a copy of skyrim for the ps3. They had 12 of them right next to each other $49 each... Now I was a pawn shop manager for 10 years, so I know used merchandise prices very well. Looked around for a few more mins looking at about 30 items and I would say 28 of them were WAY OVER PRICED.I would also say by the conversation I overheard while in the store they probably didnt pay more then 5-10 dollars each for most of the newer generation console games there. I dont think they are interested in passing the savings on to their customers. This place seems more like a rip off hoarding outfit to me.Scored Skyrim off craigslist the next day for 15 bucks.
