I would not recommend purchasing an Independent Home Walk-in Tub unless you lived in a major city where there was an office and service available. I have no issued with the tub itself except that the pump doesnt work.I first talked to Gary in the Phoenix office, then arranged to meet with Jerry, who lives in Las Vegas, but services a large area including the state of Washington, in the home I would be moving to. Because of delays in the remodeling of the house, we had to delay installation until October. Jerry installed it in October except for hooking it up because my electrician and he had problems figuring out what was necessary. After the electrician finished, I informed Jerry he could come finish hooking it up, install the shower rod, etc. He said he would come in about ten days. A month later, after several calls, he showed up. While he was here, I asked for instructions and warrantee and he promised to send them. The only info I had on how to use the tub was verbal. I phoned both Gary in Phoenix and Jerry asking again for instructions.In March, the pump would not turn off, the only way to stop it was to flip the breaker. I didnt particularly enjoy running naked thru the house naked to flip a breaker. When I phoned Jerry, he said it was just an air lock and would be OK. So next time it worked, next time it didnt. so had to run dripping to flip the breaker again. Next time, the pump turned on - that is, made a sound- but did not pump. I waited until the worst of covid was over, phoned Jerry, he said since Washington was opening up, he would come soon. May first I called Gary, he said he would ask Jerry to come, but it must be something the electrician had done wrong. Talk about passing the buck. Now it is mid July and I havent heard of either since. Their service is non existent, so the quality of the tub is inconsequential. Edra Drake
