Free trial went great so we signed up our six-year-old daughter. After a few classes I became concerned as the ratio students to the teacher was a lot higher than the trial class. This in itself might not be a bad thing if the teachers were better trained and more experienced at teaching. Nothing against teenagers finding jobs, however when it effects the quality of proper instruction this becomes an issue. Most the time during class the girls have to stand around and wait for that overwhelmed teenage instructors to show them how to do things. The class is only 50 minutes long and when more than half of it is spent standing around or trying things without knowing the proper way of doing them I feel there is something majorly wrong with that. I brought this up many times to the lady upfront (she claims to be the office manager) and my concerns were just brushed off. After the third time bringing it up I asked if there was anyone that might care that I could talk to and she said she would have the owner call me. After waiting multiple days I sent an email asking for the owner to call. As you could guess I got no response from owner either. I guess they are content with the poor product they offer and are okay with losing kiddos. Fortunately there are many good options close by. I strongly suggest you skip this place unless you are okay with paying for your kid to stand around.
They are very scattered and not professional. Theres a mean coach that yells at everyone all of the time and Im pretty sure she cant do a cartwheel much less teach anyone how to do a cartwheel. Just a bad vibe and I pulled my kid after she asked the 2nd time, I should have after the 1st time.
My kids were out of town so I brought my grandson for his two and a half hour session one and a half hours into the session and all he has done is played around the gym with no instruction. I dont think they paid for a babysitter.
My daughter has been at this gym since 2006. We left for one year and came right back. I would recommend this gym for both recreational and competitive gymnastics. The coaches really care about the gymnasts rather than just about making money and winning the most trophies. They incorporate the Center for Athletic Performances staff to insure that the gymnasts avoid injury. They make sure that the gymnasts are really ready prior to moving them to the next level.
Well run, excellent staff.
I called and requested just a one day drop off and they want $75 plus a $15 application fee...for one day? $90, for one day, totally not worth it.
