Very light traffic in SD PF, has the most Tanning and Hydro beds Ive seen yet out of the other 10 Planet Fitness Ive been to in AZ. Convenient location.

I love Planet Fitness! Having belonged to several gyms in the past, PF is nailing it in the health and fitness industry.The Scottsdale facility is super clean and the staff equally as nice, friendly and always eager to help.The monthly dues are beyond reasonable, much less than most, and packed with value.The facility is spaciously laid out with a myriad of exercise choices and equipment. It’s also clean, clean, clean with a pleasant aroma and background music. I’ve belonged to other gyms that smelled like an armpit. Not here!My workouts at PF Scottsdale Ranch are the best days of my week!

At the time of this review, I have been attending this Planet Fitness location for about 3 or 4 weeks now. The PF employees do a great job of keeping this location clean and organized.Theres a mixture of old and young people, and they are all friendly. Theres plenty of machines to go around for everyone. I attend in the early mornings and I rarely see it crowded.If planning on attending here, I recommend asking for Brett. He is a great employee, really friendly and will answer all your questions.I enjoy coming here, its overall a great gym.

Great gym. Staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is laid back. Number of machines is great, so far I’ve never had to wait for a machine I wanted to use. The services offered by my membership are awesome, I’m extremely pleased with what I’m getting and I love that I can bring a friend with me when I want to. It’s made working out regularly really easy to do.

I went to visit for a free day pass to try out the gym for the day as per the website. So I showed up with my son in plans to sign up. Cory at the front desk did not grant the day pass as mentioned on the website. I tried to reason with her but she refused. I asked to speak to a manager which she said I was unable to speak to because he was not working. It was an embarrassing experience for me. You are losing customers daily by having someone like Cory at the front desk. Your staff needs to be trained on customer service. Very bad experience.

Just joined yesterday. This will be my second home! Awesome fitness center, tons of workout machines, treadmills, steppers, ellipticals. A machines for every muscle in the body as well as free-weights, yoga mats etc! And water massage chairs for the Black Card members. May have to upgrade soon! Love it here💕

While working out I met the most pleasant staff member I’ve ever encountered at planet fitness her name was Sophy she was humming and singing to herself and so full of joy it was so pleasant and nice to have that positive energy I stopped her and spoke with her she was very informative about fitness and asked me if I needed any guidance in relation to the equipment I was using I told her no she smiled and told me to have a nice day.

Very clean gym! Ample amount of space and I love the showers here!Rio is also really nice and cares for all her members too!

I want to let everybody know that the staff here are absolutely wonderful! The friendliest gym staff and the cleanest club I have ever had, and I have had many gyms throughout the years. However, my locked locker was recently broken into last Wednesday. My wallet, phone, and keys were all stolen. Unfortunately, the situation was not handled very well. When I inquired to management what this person was doing in their club, the only response I received was its under investigation. I just wanted to make others aware that even in this club in Scottsdale, your items are not safe in the club. I would recommend not bringing any valuables inside this gym. Unfortunately, this situation had occured at other PF gyms and instead of making the clientele aware of the increased dangers, the management denied this information to the gym members. It would have been sage information to pass on to us so that we could be even more vigilent with our surroundings. MY REPLY TO OWNER. Dear owner, thank you for pointing out to me that Planet Fitness is not responsible for my items stolen out of my locked locker twice. I have been working out in clubs for over forty years and I realize a club is not responsible for my personal items locked in a locker. I have always taken items into a gym, and kept them locked in a locker. Unfortunately the only theft I have ever had was at your club in Scottsdale. I never asked Planet Fitness to be responsible for or replace my items. What I did ask was, what was this person doing in your club, how did they get in, and do you have all their information? Also, are you letting members know there is theft in your club?

Hunter and Myles deserve a raise, in my opinion planet fitness couldn’t remain in business without these two amazing employees.

The hydromassage is worth it. The regular massage chair was awesome too. Only did 20 minutes on the treadmill this time. I forgot to ask about my tshirt. Well worth the upgrade. 😁

When they lift the requirement to wear a mask while working out is when I’ll be coming back in. Til then my membership stays cancelled.EDIT: Since there seems to be no way to comment on a response (thanks Google), I called the gym yesterday and the staff member told me that masks need to be worn at all times even while working out. Sounds like the staff doesnt know the policies very well.

Planet Fitness-Scottsdale Ranch is our home PF club. My wife and I go nearly every day. We are so pleased with the staff, the facility and the equipment. The staff are welcoming, friendly and responsive. They keep the facility and equipment clean and in good working order. (It is a pain that they also have to be enforcers for COVID-19 protocols like mandating masks and cleaning equipment. While its annoying, we are glad that between the club members and club staff that the COVID-19 protocols are followed. We were so very disappointed that the club - along with all other fitness facilities in AZ - were closed by the State earlier in the year. Having Planet Fitness-Scottsdale Ranch open is worth some annoyance if so mandated.) One of the most satisfying parts of our club is that there is so much quality equipment - enough stations to minimize usage conflicts. Its kept clean and in good working order - unlike some other clubs. Recently, Dallas, an employee from the corporate office, was on site performing preventative maintenance. Its so nice that not only are repairs made promptly, but club management works to prevent equipment failure in advance! Great job! Thank you, Planet Fitness-Scottsdale Ranch. You are a very important part of our healthy lifestyle. Not only do you help us achieve our fitness goals, you are a very important plus in improving our quality of life. Since we are Black Card members, we have also used our membership around the country when we travel to other cities and states. This is a very valuable added bonus!

I just watched their staff call the police on a veteran because he asked them to enforce a gym rule it seems.. It was one of the more disrespectful things I’ve seen in a while. I hope in the future they treat their veterans, typically the older ones, with a little more respect.Other than that, the staff is typically friends and the keep the place clean. Which given the circumstances, goes a long way.

What a great place to work out. I dont wear a mask because its a huge health risk to compromise your immune system. Especially while working out! Maybe you didnt know this? I also shouldnt have to explain a private health condition to not wear one. Its still a five-star place though.

Tile floors in areas frequented by water can be dangerous if not deadly.Highly recommend you consider rubber floor mats of some kind before new owners do it for you.

This fitness center is very clean!It has all the essential exercises used equipment and hydro chairs.

Overall, low-cost membership for this place is a great value....Gym is well equipped and maintained.....Unless you must have powerlifting free-weight access, the place is perfect for any adult 👍🏻

Scottsdale PF, clean! Definitely safe to exercise there. Everyone does clean equipment there. My first time there Im definitely go back again.

What can you ask for, for only $10 a month. They do a great job of maintaining everything. Theres always stuff I could say like I wish the had ... but really, $10 bucks a month... Its worth it!

Well this is a first and I am quite disgusted...Not only does Planet Fitness on Via Linda in Scottsdale go against ADA mask exemptions and forces its clients to wear masks, now I was told by the manager Brett that I must wear my mask in between sips of my drink as Im working out in their facility... 😲Thank you Brett for your voicing your companies socialist agenda...A lawsuit should be filed against you and Planet Fitness for violating Americas constitution and violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act..

Extremely disappointing as they wouldnt honor the day pass specifically for this location.

As “snowbirds”, we were only in the Scottsdale area for 2 months and tried out Planet Fitness during this time. We have belonged to many other types of fitness gyms and give this a 5 out of 5 rating for hospitality, cleanliness, equipment maintenance, equipment quality, equipment number, support staff and anything else important for you to have a successful workout. We are also very impressed with how affordable it is. This location is managed very well and the staff takes an extra effort to know you and sign you in when you arrive..... thank you Marcus!! We will miss it but will be back here next year!

Best Gym experience

I have been to dozens of PF locations in the west during our travels this past year. This is hands-down the nicest one. I was thrilled to have a plush shower set-up. Instead of a changing room that sometimes doesnt even have a chair in it, this location has a two part shower room with a teak bench so you can change your clothes right in the room and a huge rain shower type shower head. That is just the locker room...the rest of the place is great too!

What I like about this location is accessibility. No matter what time of day or night that I go, I have access to the equipment I want to use. This access allows me to workout in 30 - 45 minutes, instead of 60+ minutes because of having to wait. The staff is always friendly and the facilities are spotless.

PF Scottsdale is a terrific value! Well-maintained equipment and locker rooms. And Clinton is the best trainer ever!

Truly like the people working here. Encouraging and seem.happy to be there.Gym is adequate, not fully stocked like LA fitness but both are aiming for different demographics. Price is unbeatable.

The gym is clean. There are sufficient machines available for use. The staff is always nice. The only complaint is that some of the classes are booked up too. quickly.

I am new to planet fitness and have been trying different ones but this one went above and beyond. Very friendly, answered my questions and made my visit amazing. Definitely will be back.

The gym is always clean, the associates are very personable/helpful/friendly- its just a welcoming environment. They have a good variety of equipment as well and if something breaks it seems to get fixed quickly. Its a nice facility overall!

Clean, new gym, great price... Took 1 star away because the staff never even say hi/bye and its super quiet in the gym. Most people wear earbuds so that prob doesnt matter anyway.

Absolutely love the total body machine - game changer. Its a vibration machine in a red light therapy container where you stand up. :-)

I’ve never had issues at the planet fitness I usually go to until I came to this one. I had a very unpleasant experience with Nick. I could write a whole paragraph about the issue I had but to say the least his lack of professionalism and how I was treated by Nick Was very upsetting. I will be canceling my black card membership and I will no longer come to this gym. I rather pay $40 + at another gym for better customer service.

This is a pretty nice Planet Fitness - large and open, lots of machines, rarely super crowded. Saw another recent review though mentioning how hot it is and I have to concur - My Wife and I both have been heating up much quicker in the past month - it just feels a lot hotter in there recently. If anyone else has a similar experience, please post a review - if this is a significant problem it should probably be addressed so they can adjust their temperatures.

EVERYONE at the Scottsdale location has been SUPER!!! All the young people are so kind, patient and friendly. In particular, Jessica Thoma is the BEST; I love taking her classes. All in All a very POSITIVE experience; they preach what they advertise - non-judgmental!!

All of the Planet Fitness locations I have been to are great... judgement free, as advertised, clean, well equipped and a very comfortable environment to work out in.The Planet Fitness on Via Linda is exceptionally clean, lots of equipment, comfortable temperature, clean locker room, and I have a very enjoyable experience every time I work out there!! I would highly recommend Planet Fitness for anyone.

Friendly staff, clean facilities, grown up adults that clean equipment after using it, don’t hog machines, pose in front of mirrors... well, there is this one fella that is apparently impressed with his gains, but he is actually entertaining to watch. So far... my favorite gym experience ever, and I’m getting up there in years. ;-)

A much nicer Planet Fitness than the majority of them. Much better equipment as well. Oh and the bathrooms dont have a horrible smell that hits you in the face when you walk into the building... like most.

Planet Fitness is a good gym.It’s clean, the employees are friendly and helpful, and there is a large number of exercise equipment so you are not waiting around. The membership price is great. $10 a month.Unfortunately, the weight lifting options are limited. There is no bench press or squat rack, and other standard pieces of weightlifting equipment you would find at most gym.Also, there marketing is hypocritical. They talk about not judging others and plastered all over the walls is condescending graphics and narrative about strong, large male weightlifters. Welcome to the “judgement free zone.” Hahaha!

I love planet fitness I have been going there for a little over a year. I enjoy that, as a member you are offered a free trainer as well with either of the memberships. However if you want to have the trainer you have to find the time he is open. There are many times where I am undable to schedule with him for weeks or months. Which can be very frustrating. This gym is neve over crowded which make it easy to find machienes easily.

This location is clean and so well laid out. The staff rocked their customer service and the black card spa area is the best I have seen. Jealous from Hillsboro Oregon!

Terrible club all the employees are to busy on their phones I seen the so called assist manger making phone calls while she was at the front desk I have also seen them simply ignore me while I was in the gym trying to ask them questions about that spa..also had some question about memeber ships and everything they said was I dont know and they didnt even try and find out! Very judgmental place I would say who ever the blondles are that work in the morning are not the best employees just rude never smiling and they just go and sit on the computer in the back the and laugh and eat. Also there is never a manager on the weekend dont know what the deal is there! The women bathroom was a mess I dont think anybody goes in there and cleans it at all. I saw women blood all over the toilet seat one day that is disgusting! I would like to know the store manager cause the main manager never seems to be there or is there but never wants to work. Because this club is ran extremely poorly. I mean if they all can just simply get off there phones and act like they cared that would be great.. DONT EVER EVER EVER GO TO THIS CLUB!
