Amazing Agency. I’ve been with MGA for 8+ years. Everyone is Amazing! The nurses, admin, etc. They really treat you like one big family. They are truly a blessing.
My overall 4yr experience working for MGA was positive! Good community of nurses and staff. I like being able to assess the family/nurse fit dynamic before being assigned, which is important for long term assignments. As with any business occasional mis communications. 24hr supervisory support available. Teams from recruiter to field supervisor are usually good about giving support to keep morale up. Good place to work for tailoring your schedule to your availability.
I have been a nurse with MGA for just over 5 years. While I’ve contemplated leaving and switching routes, I’ve always decided to stay because I truly love my job. I was lucky enough to be placed with a family that I’ve now worked with for the last 4.5 years. My favorite thing about MGA is the fact that they go to bat for both their nurses & their families.....they do an amazingly good job at matching personalities for meet & greets for full time work and then sending me to appropriate, like minded houses for random fill in shifts.Whenever I have a question or concern, my recruiter is always just a text or call away. And if I can’t reach him, someone ALWAYS answers the office line and helps me with whatever issue I have. They will send me any supplies I might need (gloves, pens, hand sanitizer) and I typically get it within 2 days in my mailbox. The communication between internal office employees & external nursing employees is literally the best I’ve seen. Everyone is prompt to answer emails and return phone calls. I think that is just how it is, because my fellow MGA coworkers also really just love their jobs. If you’re considering working here, you should absolutely fill out the application and chat with someone. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed :)
One of the best places to work as a RN! They make sure to do their best not only with families but their staff as well. It is never hard to get a hold of some one to help resolve an issue or answer a quick question. Ive had nothing but great experiences with them since I decided to join the team!
We love MGA! Our daughter has the *best* RN; she has become like part of the family. Highly skilled, professional, kind, and great with our daughter. The agency staff has always been quick to address any questions or concerns and goes out of their way to help with whatever is needed. Highly recommend!
I have worked for this amazing company for almost 6 years. I cant recommend them highly enough for the care they provide for their families and nurses alike. They strive to place the best nurse possible with the families they serve. The office staff is amazing and great with communication. Overall great company and amazing staff that are a pleasure to work with. Families are amazing too!
Ive been working with MGA as an RN for almost a year now and I couldnt be more thankful for such a great company to work for. Ive had the pleasure of working with several team members from administration to visit nursing, private duty nursing, and therapists (i.e. speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy). Every member is phenomenal at their job and you can see that translated in the care they provide for their patients. Our patients receive top notch care and it all starts with our wonderful administration team welcoming new families on board. They all put their best efforts into making sure patients and their families are satisfied with the services they are receiving. I would recommend anyone that has a need for nursing care in their home to reach out to MGA to see how we can help!!
I worked here for 2 years as a recruiter. Being in this position I got to see all aspects of what goes on at MGA.I can say with confidence out of the many jobs I have had throughout the years this has been the best place I have ever worked.I say this because the people here treat you like more than just a “co worker”. Everyone here truly cares about you.If I could go back and do it all over again, I would. I learned so much from everyone here. Its an honor to say I made long lasting friendships.Overall this company will continue to move forward and it’s because everyone that works at MGA puts their heart into their work.
I was a new Grad when I started working for MGA and felt I was being appreciated from the very beginning! This company cares for its employees as well as for their clients. They train nurses until they feel comfortable enough to work with patient. Also try to find perfect fit for their clients as they want both to feel confident with one another. I have been working now for 5 years and have gained lots of experience.
I began as a recruiter for MGA then worked my way up as a Client Service Manager. Nothing bad to say about them. Staff are all great and if you put in the work they will take care of you!
I am privileged to be affiliated with this company. MGA Homecare is a large company yet has a family run vibe because of how personable and compassionate everyone is to one another. They understand Health Care is never just the patient rather the whole family and healthcare team. This more holistic nursing allows for connecting with and helping kiddos of all ages as well as their families. Working as a pediatric nurse has been one of the most gratifying ventures for me.
I am a RN that worked for MGA and always felt appreciated by the staff and the patients. My coordinator Kasey was wonderful and always kept me busy with patients. My clinical nurse leader Amanda was always available to me whenever I had a question or a concern.
I’ve been working for MGA for a little over five years now and love it. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They are always willing to do whatever they can to help you and your patients.
I have been working for MGA for almost 4 years now as a LPN and I love it. Everyone in the office has always been very helpful and everyone is really nice. The hours are awesome, I have a 3 year old so having a scheduled that best fits my family and I is the best. I also completed my RN this past December and I want to continue to practice my skills as an RN with MGA. I love working in homecare because having the experience to work with one patient one on one and building a professional relationship with the patient and the family is an awesome experience. I would recommend MGA to any of my nursing friends from school that are looking to start off gaining some experience. Also if I ever need anything MGA is always able to help me out with whatever situation it may be.Stephanie Galaviz LPN
It’s so hard to pick only one word to express what MGA and the entire staff means to me and my family. The one that express my gratitude is BLESSINGS.Blessing for our beautiful nurse Marissa. from the very first day, to the very last day. The dedication and love she expressed towards my girls was truly amazing. To all the other nurses that we had the pleasure of working with. You are all amazing. Thank you all ❤️Alannah our PT. Thank you for all that you did for our little lady. Thank you for your caring support. What can I say about our client service manager Wieland.Another blessing to our family. His honesty, phenomenal communication skills and his ability to take the time to listen is amazing.Wieland thank you for everything that you did. The support and concern during my family hardest and darkest time.MGA your all amazing 🤩
I have worked for MGA for over two years and love this company. They are very flexible with my schedule and always trying to meet my needs. I also love how much they care about our patients. I am a practicing LPN.
The only positive experience Ive had with this organization is with their PT and I wont name drop her, but she is awesome, however, every other stage of trying to get help from this company has been a struggle, Ive tried to reach the director numerous times and she never returned my phone calls, the coordinator Kasey displays no sense of urgency with scheduling and working with the insurance company. We requested in home nursing over 2 months ago and still nothing from MGA. This is after multiple attempts to speak to someone and find help. I hope others have a better experience than we have. If the PT wasnt so great, wed drop them all together.EDIT: This edit is here to state that it took me submitting this review to get any sort of communication/explanation from MGA. It does not take over 14 business days for insurance companies, especially Cigna, to approve or deny services.
My brother has been with this agency since 2015. Out of probably 8 nurses only 2 have been amazing and really passionate about helping and doing there job. Everyone else is on their phone, lazy, and very unhelpful. My brother doesnt require alot of work so it feels like they are taking advantage of that and doing the bare minimum, which is getting their medical notes and charting done for the 5 little things they do all day. Its really disappointing because my brother stays in bed all day, my mom works to provide for him and his needs. Now my brother hasnt had a nurse since September and no communication is given. They only want to communicate when THEY need information about my brother to update THEIR records for THEIR needs.
I love working here. I am a RN, and have been able to find a place that cares about their nurses on duty. I would recommend this job to others.
I have never worked for a company as wonderful as MGA. As a Quality Assurance Nurse, I have had the opportunity to see firsthand how much our nurses truly care about their patients and their families. Our field can be difficult to work in with many medically fragile patients. It is heartwarming to know we have so many well trained, educated, thoughtful, and caring nurses taking care of our patients and their families. Our internal staff is dedicated to making sure patients are taken care of and families have the resources to obtain needed information, equipment, and care their children and loved ones need. The combination of our external staff and internal staff working together to take care of our patients gives our families much needed reassurance their loved one is getting the best possible care.
Its great to work for MGA Healthcare. Its been a delight. Works with my schedule. I love the staff.
Every MGA nurse that has come into our home has been wonderful. We appreciate the professional care we receive for our child.
This is such an amazing place to work. I work as a home health RN and while I might not get paid quite as much as I would working in a hosptial in this area, however I only have to have one patient at time and my managers do their best to make sure the house is a good fit.The managers are all very easy to talk to and responsive when there is an issue. I love working here and if you are a LPN or RN you should consider working here.
I am so grateful for MGA home health! Lisa V.L. is the best and is so good with my sweet baby! She also has really listened to everything I have to say about my daughters health and is very attentive and knowledgeable. Thank you SO much Lisa! ❤️
I have worked for MGA Home care for two years as a LPN, it is an amazing company to work for! Not only are they customer/ patient focused, they also make sure their nurses and staff are well taken care of. I could not ask for a better team!!
Possibly one of the best places to work as a nurse. The company helps everyone find patients and families and try to match their personalities. They want the employee and patient to be happy so if something isn’t a great fit, they will help both parties until they’re both happy.
I currently work here and I really enjoy the families I work with! Ive been with MGA a little over 2 yrs. My recruiter goes above and beyond weather it be needing to get transportation to work or rescheduling. The staff are so friendly and willing to help especially if you need additional lessons on how to better care for your pt. with their sim lab. Everyday is a learning experience and this place will really help you grow and to be independent. I love it. ❤️
MGA has a good team that works together to find the best fit for nurses and patients, I appreciate everything you all do on a daily basis !!
This company is only looking to make money. They don’t care about patients or families.Horrible experience with MGA I have been with them for 9 months and we still a nurse, but they still have a rep at PCH trying to get more patients this is a trick from MGA when families are the most vulnerable and suffering they try and pretend like they care about you and want to help, but all they see is $$$$$.DO NOT FALL INTO THEIR TRAP.Do your research there are many other home nurse providers.
I was employed with this company for 4 1/2 years and I really liked the flexibility and the compassion of the staff. This is the type of job where you truly feel like a part of the family. The pay was great and it was a very rewarding experience that I am proud to say that I have been able to experience. I hope that you feel the same.
I am currently employed with MGA, and I should say they have a competitive pay and they take care of their nurses. In my perspective, in order to have good communication, both parties should be willing to communicate and do their part, and as far as Im concerned there has been no issues within my communication between the company and my family. MGA takes care of their employees, they will consider your requests, concerns and will take actions for it.
This company should be stayed away from. They dont staff shifts that are needed by their patients. Some nurses are good. But there are a few that are really lazy and dont want to take care of their patients. Two nurses put my child at risk by paying more attention to their cell phones than taking care of him. One nurse tried to change a trach without putting gloves on. Supervisors will get into yelling arguments with you over the phone. They promise the world to you, then dont deliver.
I have worked for MGA for a year now and love absolutely everything about the company and the work that I do. As a RN, BSN who is in the process of obtaining my MSN I find the job both challenging and rewarding. The thing that stands out the most about MGA as a company is how they treat each nurse as family, many places say they treat employees in this manner but MGA truly does. The pay is competitive and the management is there for you step by step whenever there is a problem. This is a company who definitely has their employees best interest in mind.
