This is one of the best (if not THE BEST) talent agency in the PHX Metro area. Eric Ryan is a consummate professional and treats each client, prospective or existing, as if they are his sole placement. I have known Eric for over 10 years, worked with him numerous times and while he hasnt placed me YET, anytime Im looking for a career change or just seeking advice, I always call Headfarmer first. The most important aspect to me is that your not just a number being thrown at a wall to see what sticks. Eric will make sure the fit is right (for you and the company) and if not will actually divert you away to ensure long term success and satisfaction for everyone. This is unheard of in such a cut-throat business. Dont bother with the big box names...No BS, just the real deal. You cant go wrong and with Erics vast connections, youre in good hands.
I dont normally do reviews of any kind, but this was truly a horrific experience. I politely talked with Sunny after submitting my application and then drove into their office the next day as he requested. I arrived their 10 minutes early to find no one at the front desk. After 5 minutes someone finally showed up. Then Sunny came out and got me to talk. We sat for about 10 minutes while he looked at my resume that he had printed out and entered information into the computer all while asking me if it was correct on each entry. Then he said he would submit it to the company, but he did not think I had a good shot at it, and the meeting was over. All while he was smacking his gum with his mouth open wearing his teenage pale blue jacket. If you are just going to enter info into the computer from a print out and then ask me to leave, then dont bother asking me to take time out of my work day to make the 2 hour round trip to come into the office! Next time just put it in and take a screen shot and send to me and ask if it is correct!
Ive dealt with dozens of staffing companies over the years, but none has impressed me to the level of Headfarmer. They take a very proactive approach to preparing and updating you on a potential job. Whereas you generally need to call and get updates on a specific opportunity from the majority of staffing firms, Headfarmer calls you even if there isnt a significant update. I like that. I think youll enjoy working with their staff.
Poor and slow communication.
Great Staff
