I used to get my haircut by Eric back in the day when he was with the Art of Shaving before he opened Cut throat. I switched to a different Barber for the last couple years that was closer to where I live. My barber had moved out of state and I went back to Cut throat today. Leah cut my hair today and did my beard trip. She did an amazing job. I was very impressed. This place has nothing but the best! Keep up the good work!

Was hoping to find a barber I can trust after moving back to AZ from San Diego, but I don’t think this will be the place. The atmosphere and vibe of this barbershop was solid, but the cut was disappointing. Showed the barber a photo of my hair from my previous cut, and the result was not very close. Would be willing to try a different barber, but will probably be awhile before I circle back.

Would give David a 0 if I could. Showed up 10 minutes early for an appointment at 3. Hannah was super nice and asked who I was and about my appointment in front of David. David didn’t acknowledge that I was there or even say hello and his chair is right next to the desk I checked in at. I then waited for 30 minutes still with no acknowledgement that he is running late. David and the client get up from the chair just to go wash his hair. Got up and walked out. So unprofessional from a cool barbershop. Would recommend anyone else in there as they seemed to be on top of their schedule getting through 1 or 2 clients by the time I finally left.

David is personable and always does a great job with my sons hair!

They aren’t following the safety guide lines they emailed their customers saying that they would be. Maybe one employee was wearing a mask and my barber actually made me take mine off. And this was on the first day they opened. THE FIRST DAY. I don’t care if you personally don’t believe it’s a big deal. If you say you’re going to do something you do it. If I ask for a trim are you just going to shave my head instead?

I came in looking homeless due to my hair that Id been growing out for over 10 years. The male barber fixed my hair and made me look like a new man! The female worker even offered me champagne but I had to deny as Im a religious. 5 stars!

Day before my wedding went in, and I had an amazing experience. The beer was delicious, and the owner, a young guy, cut my hair and gave a straight razor shave. The atmosphere was exactly what I wanted, the beer was a great bonus. The cut was the best cut Ive ever gotten. The shave was smooth and he knew what he was doing. Thanks guys! The worst service and run around from a barber shop I’ve had ever, they first don’t mind telling me they closed early and that the appointment I had booked is cancelled until I tried to open the door. Then the person who opened the door proceeded to tell me he was the boss and he can cut my hair tomorrow. I come tomorrow to find out he’s not the boss after my hair cut is botched and looks nothing like the photo or what I askedfor, they also charged me twice without telling me until I see my bank statement. I don’t know what type of operation is going on here but I wouldn’t waste my time going here again.

Good place for a quick cut in old Town and cool atmosphere I would suggest coming a little later in the day to partake in the adult beverages.

The barber didnt pay attention to my instructions. First thing I said was, I was trying to grow my hair out and just needed to line up, fade, and shape the top when it was fully down. He cut 3 inches off my top (mid to back). My hair is thick so when its short, its hard to style because it just gets puffy (especially the back when Im trying to keep it down). I have to use a large amount of max holding product now (Kevin Murphy isnt cheap), think of a different style, or just wear a hat until my hair grows back out.On top of that, I get cut on the back when hes lining me up with the straight razor....And then he slicks my hair back so I didnt notice how short my hair was until I get home (Granted, my hair was slicked back when I came in - I guess he didnt hear me that I said I was going to wear my hair down my right side starting with this cut).He charges me for a regular cut, but I booked a cut deluxe. I just didnt say anything at this point because I just wanted to get out. I still tipped, he obviously put in effort (I just wasnt paying attention). I admit Im at fault partly as well since I was watching TV too much and not worrying about the haircut.I get home and realized how short my hair was. Now I have to do a different hairstyle until my hair grow out 3 inches again. I also had to line up the hair on my temple, they were clearly uneven - my right side was 3/4 in higher than my left. Thankfully I had my own grooming kit.This was my first experience there. Granted, I should have paid more attention (I like to zone out at the TV when I get a cut). Ill give it one more shot, seems like this first experience was a fluke. David had 5 star reviews and it seemed like I couldnt go wrong with him. Minus the cut behind my ear, the fade is pretty fresh. He just chopped off way too much at the top.UPDATE:My first experience was in fact, just a fluke. Glad I have them another shot! Will be going again.

Great experience! I went here to have my beard styled and hair trimmed and Raven did an excellent job. I had never grown a beard before and this man rocked it. I went to this place simply because of the ratings on here and on yelp. They use top quality products and take their time doing a great job. The decor and music is also an excellent touch. I think every guy who shaves daily should treat themselves here at least once a month for a perfect shave. I also like their online booking system and calendar to see whos working, Im sure all the stylists are great here, but a shot out to Raven who does an excellent job keeping me looking good.

Close to being a good haircut, but truly lacking in attention to detail.Elias cut my hair about a month ago and left a portion of the front of my hair in a massive, uneven cowlick. It had never been like this before. I went back to have him fix it but they were closed for the day. I dealt with it (spent 5-10 extra minutes each morning trying to make straighten it out with little luck) and went back for another haircut this week. I told him about this and asked him to fix it, but after another rushed haircut, I left the shop and found it to be the same as it was.Super frustrating man, pay attention to detail! This cost me time and money, not to mention I have to face customers with a noticeably uneven haircut. Maybe spend an extra 5 mins on each haircut to ensure everything is in line, rather than rushing your customers out of the chair. This is clearly lazy work.

This was my first time here. I had Elias and I asked him for a haircut and a beard trim. I told him what I wanted done with my beard. “Clean up the sides and fade into haircut, just a little trim on the front, just clean up the ends.” Haircut looks great. The beard sides look good as well. But the front of my beard he took off everything below my chin and left the top. I now have two different lengths of hair on my chin. It looks ridiculous! I noticed this after I got into my car. Turned around to go back and have him fix it. But they closed the store, midday. So now I’ll have to go somewhere else to fix this.

Ive been to a lot of places for a haircut in my time, and this is hands down by far the best! A phenomenal team of barbers who know how to cut hair trim a beard, and shave a face! It also doesnt hurt that its a swanky looking place as well! Cant wait for them to finish work on the bar they have attached. Great barbers. I have had David, Elias and Hannah cut my hair. I was happy with the cut from all three. Hannah is my current barber and always a clean cut with a warm shave clean up. Proper fade.

My friend just got out of barber school and started working here. I made an appointment, came in, I let her do whatever she wanted to my hair and she did fantastic. The place is really cool to go to and the other staffing was really good also. Definitely will be coming back.

Great staff, good music, cool decor, and an excellent transition on my low fade. I had only made a quick trip in for an appointment on my lunch break and left with a great cut. Cant wait to go back for a cut and shave next time.

I was visiting from out of town (Toronto) and stopped in for a fade. A normal high fade which i believe is a relatively easy cut.The environment of the shop was great (bar, TV etc) .. however the cut itself .. was not blended correctly, went far too high on one side of my head whereas the other was at the correct height, the barber lined up my beard (horribly) when i did not ask for it and proceeded to line up my moustach when i didnt ask for it.If i ever go back to this location, i will have to ask for another barber.ive had to grow out my hear for 2 weeks and my normal barber was able to patch me up

First time in a chair at this Barber Shoppe. I havent had a haircut this good in a long time. Very comfortable atmosphere, staff very personable and professional. Extreme attention to detail, not in a hurry. Nobody else is ever allowed to touch my hair again with clippers, scissors and razor as long as Allison works there. Allison, you ARE my hair girl now.An added touch: its always nice to hear someone whos doing a service like this express how much they love what theyre doing, where theyre working and who they work for. Allison spoke of this Shoppe in a way she would want her employees to speak of it if she were the owner of it. She had nothing but positive things to say about her job.Thanks!

Had my hair cut by Jacob. He was meticulous, took his, time and seemed to enjoy his craft. Haircut was top notch. Cool and comfortable atmosphere as well. Well priced.

After finding good reviews, I trusted to send someone to this business and left a voicemail to make an appointment. They returned my call within 3 hours and I was able to make an appointment for 3 days out. The night before I received the text stating, appointment canceled, go online to reschedule. With no explanation nor apology I found this extremely unprofessional. Not to mention when I called them back the next day to re-schedule and had to leave yet another voicemail...NO ONE returned my call. Save your time and precious $$ and go elsewhere!

Obviously the reviews have made this place busy and since Im gone most weekdays I booked a Sat appointment 2 weeks out. I received 2 texts to confirm my appointment in the 2 weeks, then after business hours Friday night, I received a text canceling my appointment. Two calls the next morning have gone unanswered. Its great they are busy enough that they dont need more clients, dont need more good reviews, or good word of mouth publicity.Update: no call, no contact- do NOT use Raven Breen, a waste of time.

A couple guys from work recommended cut throat barbershoppe for beard trims so I decided to give them a chance. I was able to book an appointment online with a few clicks, which was nice. I usually dont let anyone near my beard and try to do it myself because Ive had several bad experiences in the past but I was like: those guys beard look good so what the heck.Anyways, I booked a 9:30 AM appointment with whoever would be available first since I didnt get recommendations on who to go to. Got there and a gentleman was sitting down getting a cut from one of the barbers. I greeted him and told him I had an appointment with whoever was available and he asked me to sit down and wait for either him or another barber.Around 9:35 Eli called me to his chair, he asked what I wanted and I replied that I wanted my beard to still look full, clean the neck line and shape it a little.Things I liked: Eli took his time making sure my beard was simetrical (or as close to it). He worked fast but I didnt feel like he was rushing. He didnt took my neck line too high which even though I didnt tell him I appreciate him doing so.Things I didnt like/I couldve done better: I recognize that no beard trim is going to be perfect and that knowing how to talk to your barber is key to get what you want. I didnt tell him how I wear my moustache so he went on to trim it before I could say a word. I usually do my moustache on my own and shouldve told to leave as it was. Its not that big of a deal but still a little heads up wouldve been appreciated. Again, he went on to trim my soul patch in rectangle shape which doesnt bother me too much but making the decision for me instead of asking how I wanted it trimmed is the reason Im not giving away 5 stars.Was it worth the $26? Yeah.Would I come back? Probably.Would I recommend this place to others? Sure.I also want to point out that my experience was probably not the truest to what this barbershoppe is since it was so early in the morning. I kinda want to go back in the afternoon when they start serving beer and whatever else happens later in the day.

Ive been a barber for some years now, and trying to find a barber to cut my hair is very difficult. I am super picky and have a hard time finding a barber that can perform at a level I hold myself to as a barber. Most barbers cut to short, or cant grasp the idea of a long haircut but tight and clean on the sides. Plus walking into the traditional looking barber shop where they can hardly speak English and needs someone to translate for them, or the inside is a stuffy environment with bad energy and most of the time the AC on at 80 degrees, causing you to be in a rush to leave because how uncomfortable it is. Well, let me tell you. Cut throat Barber Shop absolutely rocks!! The atmosphere is a touch of the old school feel with a twist of modern day trend. All the guys there are super happy and always nice. Only guy I know is Erick since he is my Barber, but all the other guys make me feel as if Im known them for sometime and always carry on a conversation with me while Im waiting. Erick has always knocked my haircut out of the park, Ive never had a bad haircut. Since I dont cut hair anymore, Ive had numerous strangers stop me and ask who did my haircut. I always pass them along to Erick or one of the other guys. This place is a true gem. Another high note, these guys dont talk bad about any of their customers or other barbers at different shops, unlike other barbershops in the area. Trust me, give them a shot and you will be hooked.

Went in for a beard trim with David. He did a great job, got me right in with no issue and was very complimentary of how well i had taken care of my beard and asked to take a picture it once he was done because he was pleased with his work. It was a good feeling know that he was proud of the job he had done.

I booked over 2 weeks in advance and they canceled the appointment via automated text at closing time the night before our morning appointment.Their phone system doesnt allow you to talk to anyone, it just says to try texting or leave a voicemail. I did, but they still havent responded. I understand staffing issues can happen, but it doesnt bode well for a business to lack any form of communication or to follow up at all.I was depending on their service in preparation for a job interview, now I have to scramble for an alternative. Dont depend on Cut Throat.

I got my haircut from another barber shop and they did a terrible job. Walked in to cut throat right after and they hooked it up. The owner of the shop was amazing he asked me what I needed, squeezed me in and took care of the mess I had going on. Gave me one of the best haircuts of my life.
