We have been with ACA for a few years, every since they installed our HVAC unit. We purchase their protection plan every year. Yesterday was our Spring tune up. Just as expected another great service from great people.

AC of Arizona is one of the best companies I have done business with. From making the initial call Samantha responded within two hours and Pete was on site the next day. My system was 20 years old and it was time to replace it. Pete was very helpful in making recommendations and made some adjustments to keep my old system running until the new unit could be installed without creating unnecessary costs. Troy came out the same day and was very helpful in selecting the unit needed for my home. The order was placed and within two days the new unit was in stalled by Phil and Kevin in about 4-5 hours. There were very professional and when they left the old unit and any trash was removed from the property, with the new unit on the roof operating. The work this company performs and communication with the customer is outstanding. You always know what is going on at any given stage of the process. This team is very knowledgeable in the business and I recommend them highly.

From the beginning in the quotation process they answered our questions and discussed our concerns. Their quote made it clear they understood what we were looking for and it was right the first time (two other companies we got quotes from couldn’t manage that same feat and had to revise quotes). We paid a little extra for weekend installation (weekend crane fee), but they accommodated us easily. It was a great experience and a week in we are liking our new units.

I rarely write reviews and am even less likely to be impressed with a company and their service but in this case, I have to make an exception. We had a failure of our almost 15 year old rooftop A/C unit. I called ACA on a Monday morning at 8:00 am and they had a technician on-site by noon. He confirmed my fear that the compressor was shot and because the unit used R-22 refrigerant, it didnt make sense to repair it and it needed to be replaced.So here it was noon on a Monday and we were leaving for a trip on Wednesday morning so I just assumed I would have to deal with it when I got back. What amazed me next was that within 15 minutes I had an emailed quote for a new unit (which was less than I had expected) and a follow-up phone call. To my surprise they thought they could do an install the next day. This really stunned me because the unit was not one I expected to be in stock and the installation required coordination with a crane service to lift the unit to the roof. They called back in less than a half hour and had everything scheduled for noon on Tuesday.On Tuesday the crew arrived promptly at 11:55 (when does that ever happen). They started their prep and the crane arrive an hour later. They were so prepared and organized that the crane was on-site less than 30 minutes. And literally 5 minutes after they lifted the old unit of the roof, a scrap dealer arrived to haul the old unit away. Truly amazing efficiency.Less than 3 hours later, they were completely finished. I grew up in the A/C industry and I was incredibly impressed with the quality of the installation. Everything was neat and professionally done with great attention to detail and after they left, there was no sign they had been there - no trash, no mess, nothing. And the price was EXACTLY what was quoted. No add-ons, no extras.I can highly recommend ACA and will use them exclusively in the future.

Last night we found a pretty good sized leak from one of our bathroom vents (big water bubbles and constant dripping), so this morning I called Troy and they had Hunter at our house in the early afternoon on the same day. I had called probably about 6 different companies to get some different bids thinking it could be a big project. From the moment we spoke to Troy my wife I and I knew this was an honest and hard working company. Very understanding, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and professional.Hunter called with an extremely professional and polite heads up that he would be arriving in 20-25 minutes, and was right on time.I can’t say enough about the kind of person Hunter is. A hard working, honest, and very knowledgeable person. He took the time to assess the issue, explain it to us, and what the proper fixes would be. Hunter even went above and beyond and helped fix things that caught his eye in our attic. I must note that the attic is way hotter than even the temperature outside. Nevertheless, Hunter spent a long time up there fixing issues and taking the time to explain them to us. Just an all around great human being. Hard to find honest, humble, and hard working companies and this is definitely one of those companies.Hunter also installed a new Nest thermostat for us and helped with programming. ACA is no question the most knowledgeable and professional A/C company I have dealt with in 20 plus years of owning a home in PHX. And I have worked with at least 5 that come to mind. I bought my current home 5 years ago and the prior owner had George Brazil install a York unit (They paid way too much by the way) that lasted 8 years before I tossed it. Every year I had a leak or board issue. I dont know if these issues were product issues or technician issues. To be honest I think it was both. In any case I had ACA put a Trane unit in my house 6 months ago, and I use my AC unit year round. I have had ZERO issues with the unit nor any installation issues.These guys know what they are doing. Every individual I spoke with knew their stuff. Save yourself headaches, and money and do it right the first time. Get a Trane unit and have ACA install it. You will be way ahead in the long run.

I spent about three weeks researching a/c companies on Google, Yelp and BBB. I ended up getting four comparable quotes.When you consider ACA gets five star revues on all three all the time there has to be a reason and its not just the great price !The decision really wasnt that hard. I never once felt I was being sold an a/c unit by Troy. He was polite, professional, knowledgeable and answered all my questions and queries at the time and the many questions I sent in email from after his visit.When I pulled the trigger the installation team came out and were very friendly, polite and professional stopping only for about 30 minutes for lunch. The install was a vast improvement over the previous job of questionable quality and apparent shortcuts and as of now we are looking forward to the summer !At the very least get yourself a quote, you will not regret it or be disappointed.

I did a lot of research before choosing Air Conditioning of Arizona and they were the best choice I have ever made! I made my appointment on the website and had my window for the following morning. These guys are not in any way hard sellers. Hunter was super straight forward and honest about my ancient hvac system and after fixing my main problem in under a half an hour, simply put it out there that the fix that it really needed could run around $700 but in his opinion wouldn’t really be worth it. I wholeheartedly agreed considering my unit is well over 20 years old! Hopefully we’ll get through the rest of our summer and by spring I will absolutely be calling for a new install.
