Took my 65 Imperial there because they said they worked on older cars. I wanted a transmission service it was worse after I left. After bringing the car back 3-4 times they told me they were moving away from working on older cars. Steer clear if you want quality service.

If you want to leave your car for 3 or 4 days, then this is the place. I dropped off my car (3 times). Each time, with an appointment, they let it sit one day, diagnosed the problem and ordered parts on the second day, to arrive the 3rd day. They mark up the parts that they sell you at about 100%. They changed a condenser on my car and I left with a huge transmission leak, because they didn’t hook up the lines properly. My car was out of commission for 2 weeks, and I still see some dripping on the ground under it. Totally frustrated, I’ve never been to a mechanic who didn’t diagnose the problem while I was there. I spent 2k on my car, 6 weeks earlier I spent 1k on it for the a/c compressor. It should be in the junkyard, and I should have 3k to use towards another car, if it was diagnosed properly my first visit.

Brian and the team were awesome! This was my first visit after recently moving to the area. I had seen my car dealer for a previous repair and they tried to get me to purchase new brake pads/rotors (on a leased car less than 3 years old). Brian got me in the same day (with minimal wait time) and he assured me that they would take a look and wouldn’t tell me to do a repair that wasn’t necessary - low and behold I didn’t need to change the brake pads and I left with just an oil change. No upselling, no unnecessary repairs - It’s so nice to know that we have a mechanic we can trust in our new hometown - thanks to everyone at M & M! We’ll definitely be making this shop our go-to!

I took my car to M & M Thinking that my oil Pan leaking, after close inspection I was told that my rack and pinion assembly needed replacing. Saving me A lot of money for a necessary repairs. M & M did the necessary repairs to my car, I am very please with their professionalism and they are servicesI learned from this experience never take your car to a muffler shop for advice. They want it to change my oil pan and all of my shocks which they said were leaking. Thank You M & M for being there for me.

They quoted me a price for something they said would fix the problem but also said if it didn’t, it would be something they had to send to the dealer. After they tried fixing it, they tried charging me to fix the real issue in which they never mentioned in the beginning. So basically I gave away like 400 for nothing just to leave with my car in the same situation it came with. Plus they over charge!

Not impressed. Thought my brakes needed done and they quoted me to replace. Got a second quote for half the price elsewhere. Also said I needed things that I didnt need.Brakes ended up being at 70% life remaining.Quote, ironically, came out at a total equal to 2 stimulus checks and they seemlessly offered to do the work then I use the stimulus to pay the bill off. Seems they found work to do to get to that figure.

I didn’t want the dealership to work on my car because of past experiences. I was able to get permission to have M & M Car Care work on it even while under warranty. They replaced my transmission and a new battery. The customer service was beyond exceptional!! From Christy in the office, Fredo the technician to the owner Jason. They handled everything with care and professionalism. I can’t say enough about this experience. They even worked out a rental car for me to use during the process.Not only this, but Jason was very active in helping me find my daughter her first car!!!! I brought my 1991 Mustsng Convertible in for an oil change and some work on the top. I was in and out in a little more than an hour. Brian is awesome and thorough as well as the gentleman who worked on my car. Its the second time Ive been to the Schererville location and I would go no where else! A great bunch of guys!

UPDATE: Owners were extremely courteous after this review and gave me a call and for the most part solved my problem. | Went for a single stripped lug nut removal... Staff was extremely friendly and courteous and was on time to get me in. The techs worked quickly and got the job done cleanly. HOWEVER, i was charged $97 for this job.(Diagnostic Fee) Looking around, this job could have been done for $20-30. While I feel i would return again, make sure that you inquire about pricing before you get a small job done. I will be happy to change this review if I am contacted.

This place does a great job, it took 30 seconds for the service mechanic Alfredo to diagnose my car and figure out what the noise was coming from my engine. There are very few shops with good mechanics I trust to work on European cars like Audi & BMW. I trust this place to fix my car and to not rip me off on the service.

Ive been seeing Jason and his mechanics for years now. Always honest and kind. This year, I came in from out of town (just moved) and had plans to go to a cabin near Bloomington. My check engine light came on and my car started running rough. They got me in and out and I was able to make my trip! I told them that they saved my birthday! And they did!

I took my 2015 Yukon to several shops and no one could seem to pin point the problem. Then I Brought it in to M&M no only did the pin point it but they repaired it and its running great today.
